Hi there, love the videos! Would you ever consider making a video on your jeep build? I know a lot of people probably would love to know including myself. I just purchased a JLUR and am looking to do some more mods. I already have 3.5 RK lift and 37" tires with winch and other stuff. Where did you get your under skids and did you perform a aux battery delete? Great video BTW, we love that trail and did this one back in the day in full size trucks. Now I look back and wonder how we did it. There's always been water there at the rock wall whenever we've went on this trail. Once, we saw a ring tailed cat in the very back of the mine on the wall.

Hi, thank u for watching and commenting. I think we will do a build video. Thx for the suggestion. Congrats on your new jeep. We did not do the build bc it is beyond our expertise. The build including the skid plates/armor was done by Venture OffRoad in Scottsdale and they did a gr8 job. Did not delete the aux battery but we never use the auto stop/start feature. However, we replaced the main stock battery with an Interstate 850 battery and we regularly use a battery tender. I'm also not sure how you got around the main obstacle on the trail in a truck. I assume u subscribed but if not pls consider doing so and have a gr8 day!

Easy, did it in my 18 Grand Cherokee overland 4x4, TONS of AZ pinstriping.

Thx for commenting. When we first started off-roading the sound of AZ pinstriping was like nails on a blackboard. Now we r able to mostly ignore it.

I just found your channel. I did like and I did subscribe. I live in the area and like to see which trails I might like to drive. OnX gave that trail an 8. I generally don't go above 5 when I am by myself. How much ground clearance do you have on your Rubicon? I have my Wrangler JLU Sport lifted and on 33 inch tires. That gives me about 10 inches under the front diff and 12 inches at the breakover. That one section where you were practically climbing the wall would give me pause. Was it the most difficult part? I will enjoy catching up on your previous videos.

Hi, Welcome and Thanks. Actually, OnX gives Turkey Creek a 5 which is the same rating as TrailsOffroad. The hardest part is just past the staging area where u descend to the creekbed the 1st time. We took the left option which is harder and I needed to pay more attention bc we rolled quite a bit but then corrected. OnX notes this part of the trail as a 6. unfortunately I did not look at OnX beforehand. We run 37s, with 3.5" lift and I think we have about 15" but I don't think ground clearance is a big problem on this trail. For that sort of issue pls check out our Smiley Rock video which has some difficult rock gardens. I would not do Smiley Rock on 33s but this trail should be ok with the normal caveats about good line choice and careful tire placement. The obstacle u refer to is actually not that hard if u have a good spotter. If ur not careful u can roll over a drop-off to your right but u just have to be careful to avoid that. The video shows that had I gone much further to the right it could have gotten ugly. Of course, if u go too far to the left there can be body damage. I just kept as close to the wall on my left and went slow. Hope this information helps.
