Simply disconnect the connector we modified and connect the trailer light harness. Besides, the camera is likely not helpful with a trailer blocking it.
Man, theres a grommet on the passenger side right under the kick panel/carpet. Right near the middle i believe. Coylda skipped all that back seat removal. Thats where i dropped mine through. REALLY good videos though.

So what do you do if you end up needing the trailer lights for an actual trailer?
