How to Install a 7in Touch Screen Radio for a Nissan Frontier

- We are going over the steps to install an aftermarket touchscreen radio on a 2009 Nissan Frontier XE. This radio also includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (All Built-in).

Great video!! Looking to switch out to a screen is a 06 frontier set up similar still have standard radio
I want to replace the original car radio on my 05 frontier soon was wondering if this video is compatible with my 05 frontier I’m aware that yours is a 09 not sure if there’s a difference or something I should expect that my older model would or wouldn’t have that yours has hoping this isn’t a dumb question I guess I’m looking for reassurance n tips lol

Bro I been using this video and the video of the Nissan Altima as reference, I have the “wired harness adapter”, the dash kit, antena adapter, but I can’t find any steering wheel control adapters, could you recommend me one, and also do I need any other connection? I am installing this same radio on a Nissan Altima 2014
May need to contact the vendor to obtain the missing adapters. I'm not sure what else you would need without looking at your setup.

There is a wiring harness link in the description. The ground wire is attached to one of the mounting screws

Can you tell me if it worked with your steering wheel controls?
Sadly, I'm not able to confirm because this truck doesn't have them. However, according to the radio manual, it is compatible of working with factory steering wheel controls. Wish I could have tested this feature.

I believe so. You just need to make sure you splice the correct connections.

Possibly. I'm not 100% sure, though.
Will a 10” screen units fit 2019 Frontier SV
Unknown. When I measured the 2009 Frontier, it was ~8in across. So, a 10in will not fit into mine (using the typical installation).
Suppose to be an Installation video.. Are your pants on fire? Are you being charged by the second? Slow down to 1/2 speed and maybe your video will be of some value
Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos. TH-cam allows viewers to adjust playback speed, so you can try slowing it down to your preferred pace.
If you cant follow him at this speed then seriously consider paying someone to install your stereo for you. This was not fast.
