If these amenities are not accessible to the longboat key public then those calling Longboat home are getting screwed. This monstrous facility is going to increase traffic and congestion and noise. The tax money garnered is not worth it. Poor decision making by the Longboat Key Town Commission.
I see your point regarding traffic. It will be bringing in over $2M/yr in the Town of LBK tax revenue. But again I do fully see your side of the story as well :(
But may I also add that it’s not accessible to the public, much like the rest of the entire island. Buyers and guests pay a super premium to own and utilize the space and want it to feel luxurious and private. If the public is freely invited that brings in more issues with regard to parking and even more traffic, as you stated.
