Manasota Beach south of Venice is the best secluded beach to visit in Southwest Florida. Swimming, beachcombing, shelling, hiking, sunbathing with no huge crowds. This the beach for local living Floridians in South Sarasota County. Lifeguard Station is right near the free parking lot. Old Florida unspoiled beach on the Gulf of Mexico with white sand but shells mixed in with each high and low tide. Paradise for shell collectors too. Clear safe water to swim in.
Bonita Springs and Bonita Beach Florida is my favorite area of all Southwest Florida. Great secluded beach access areas are numbered. Great shelling, beachcombing, walking, swimming, sunbathing. Great seafood restaurants East of the beach, shopping in Estero to the North or Naples to the South. Hotels are East off the Beach though. However you can rent a home directly overlooking Bonita Beach. A little pricey but so worth the privacy. Like living in Florida with your own backyard beach. Paradise all your own!
Oh we do LOVE Navarre and the whole national seashore area. It did make our blog post top beaches in Florida list, just didn't quite make the top 7 to make it in the video. 😂 But YES -- we agree it is absolutely beautiful there and has gorgeous sand and water! Thanks for watching! - Liz
Flagler Beach is awesome! Have not checked out Mickler's Landing or Washington Oaks State Park - thanks for the recommendations. We need a road trip! Thanks for watching and for sharing your faves! - Liz & Josh
That surfing lifestyle is really great over there! I used to go to Cocoa Beach every weekend too - it was such a great vibe when I lived over in that area. Thanks for watching and for the comment! - Liz
She did pronounce it correctly islamorada.... it's a spanish word....not English .....let me enlighten your 🧠 cells a bit..... Dunedin needs a little work though....but other than that, she's great! Jealous any? 😆
Great list. many suggest the panhandle beaches, but those beaches get a real winter... cold temps w/o snow. You've got to go south of Ocala to feel the temperature increase in the winters. St Augustine is an exception to the list. Its a very cool town but not really a beach town. Its a costal historic district kinda like New Orleans.
Good choices. I’ve been to most of the beaches on your list. Recently I’ve been spending time at Madeira Beach. I really enjoy the less crowded beach with plenty of restaurants and nightlife.
Thanks for watching and for the comment! Ah yes, Madeira is also really beautiful. It's always nice when you can find more relaxed beachy areas that are less crowded but still have some people and amenities like good restaurants where you can have some energy and a fun vibe! Not too sleep I guess, haha! Happy travels to you!
St. Augustine really is a beautiful place, and full of so much interesting history. A really fun place to visit! Thanks for watching and for the comment!
Hi thanks for watching! I'm sure there are boat tours out of Islamorada, but I don't know if they go all the way to Key West. Key West is only an 1 hr 30 minute drive away (roughly) and most people enjoy the drive because it's more scenic than a boat. So most people will just drive anyway - if that helps. Enjoy your trip!
LOL - yes, it is Spanish which is why we can't help but say it with the Spanish pronunciation (Eeeslah is the correct Spanish way to say it). There are a few areas in Florida where the locals pronounce the name in a more English way rather than the original Spanish way (Punta Gorda is another place where the locals don't use the proper Spanish pronunciation). This is just one example - and knowing Spanish, it's difficult to say the name technically incorrect 🤣 tomato tomato potato potato...
Yeah - so glad you found it helpful! You are going to love that UFO Taco. Watching the video just makes us crave it again. We have to make another trip out there to get one! We hope you two are settling in well & enjoying summer in that fabulous swimming pool!
I still prefer Hallandale Beach Florida and Hollywood Beach Florida, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale Beach, these the best beaches in Florida lifestyle wise ❤☀️
You gotta put Hallandale Beach Florida on this list a beautiful city beautiful beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities, And Gulf Stream Horse Racing Casino with the Pegasus statue it’s the second biggest Statue in the United States 🇺🇸.
Thanks for watching and the comment! Bradenton really is a beautiful beach - between the water and the sand! And it's a fun little place to stay a weekend and enjoy some sun, fun, shopping and dining.
Oh really? We didn't find it too rough, but I'm sure it could be in some areas. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience with others! - Liz & Josh
Miami and South Beach Miami are greatly overrated. Extremely expensive, crowded, loud parties all night that keep you awake without ear plugs: very wealthy, beautiful people, people with lots of cosmetic surgery, rude and snobby people. pretend rich people; and no shortage of con artists, and other poseurs. Crazy drivers. Very hot, humid, rainy weather, strong storms, hurricanes. High crime rate. Avoid dangerous areas.
Wish you would have gone deeper into what your criteria for making the list. Most of these beaches are entirely too crowded and lack reasonable parking. Floridas population has exploded the last 5 years and as any resident can tell you, historically the infrastructure planning and roads are a minimum of 10 years out which means there always playing catch up. It's always been a mismanaged total shit show in Florida. I would love to know exactly where the tax revenue increases are going. Sure as hell isn't the infrastructure. State government mismanagement and corruption at its worst
Thanks for the reply! But according to the official town (and locals we know) it's pronounced "duh-nee-dn" -- but I'm sure they've heard all sorts of ways to say it!
Please don’t come here. There are too many people here already. Venice is over run and you wont even be able to park to attend that craft or art show. The traffic is horrendous. I know. I live there.
@@gulfbreezescapes4429I wish you would tell me one I’m trying to take my family somewhere without any people we usually go to Sargent tx which only has a dollar store but my wife wants to go to Florida and we don’t like crowded beaches that have been cleaned up

I am sorry, but if you can not pronounce the names of the cities correctly, I have to question are you from here. Much less know anything, other than google searches, about the towns. It is like an insult to native Floridians and the folks that are from these towns.

These beaches are crazy busy
You must visit Navarre and the national seashore there. White sand like Sarasota/Clearwater, but quiet and natural--amazing!

new smyrna, the space coast- cocoa beach and canaveral are my old stomping grounds , i miss them dearly, surfing all day
That surfing lifestyle is really great over there! I used to go to Cocoa Beach every weekend too - it was such a great vibe when I lived over in that area. Thanks for watching and for the comment!

i live in new smyrna. the only beaches that are quiet are the ones with no parking, or in the winter when it is cool.
You have pronounced islamorada correctly....yay 😄!!! I'm subscribing to your channel thanks!!

Panama city beach is More then Beautiful, and Great Family and Friends in this City. Very helpful.
I agree, except it won’t fit in this “quiet” category ( :

If u could mention the closest airport to fly to and a map view would be super useful
Beautiful Florida
Thanks for watching. These are definitely some of the most beautiful places here!!!
I love st. Augustine Florida❤
St. Augustine really is a beautiful place, and full of so much interesting history. A really fun place to visit! Thanks for watching and for the comment!
I live near. Way too much traffic. Can’t walk across the street.

Nice list. A couple I haven't been to are now on my list. Thanks
Awesome - there are even more on our bigger list that we just couldn't fit into the video. It's so fun finding these hidden beaches!
I liked your list except for Bradenton Beach. I prefer more rural beaches, like Manasota Beach or Lemon Bay near Englewood, Fl.
We do love the rural beaches too! Manasota beach is a few minutes from our house and absolutely one of our favorites too!
Really enjoyed your video I have a question If I Stay in Islamarada Can we take a boat to Key West? For example if we want a visit key west
Hi thanks for watching! I'm sure there are boat tours out of Islamorada, but I don't know if they go all the way to Key West. Eeeslah marada huh? You guys from Michigan?
Isla like Island or purple island in Spanish
LOL - yes, it is Spanish which is why we can't help but say it with the Spanish pronunciation (Eeeslah is the correct Spanish way to say it).

tomato tomato potato potato...
Florida beaches are the best. Miami Beach and Hallandale Beach offer the best in fine beaches, upscale accommodations, and fine dining.
Yes i agree with the list, thanks!
Thanks for the research! We have some beaches to check out and I have to try the UFO taco!
Yeah - so glad you found it helpful! You are going to love that UFO Taco. Watching the video just makes us crave it again. We have to make another trip out there to get one!

Miami Beach literally had to put a curfew in place.
You are 💯 correct
@brandinshaeffer8970 what at 4 am? So what
i have lived there 70 years and have never heard islamorada pronounced the way you said it.
Bradenton beach was so dope when I went. It’s like the whole beach was mine not too many people there just old retired white folks tanning out
Fun and informative lots of beaches thanks 🙏🏽 again
Thank you. Happy you enjoy it!
Surprised Englewood didn't make the list.
It was a tough choice. Englewood is on our bigger list, just didn't make the short list. Englewood Beach is a lovely beach though!
You gotta put Hallandale Beach Florida on this list a beautiful city beautiful beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities, And Gulf Stream Horse Racing Casino with the Pegasus statue it’s the second biggest Statue in the United States 🇺🇸.
Thanks for the recommendation, we'll have to check it out!
I think somebody's trying to sell real estate in hallandale

Upham beach in St. Pete is very nice
Caladesi Island and Shell Key😎
Can anyone tell me if Pensacola has Quiet, non biker rally beaches. I'm looking for quiet, relaxed, non tourist dive beaches that are family friendly.
Pronounced: isle- mor- ada
very nice but wish you learned the correct pronunciation for these, like Islamorada, the isl is pronounce ile
Where is the Beach in Islamarada?
No Seaside or Rosemary Beach?
No existing housing for rent to move there.
Bradenton is the best!
Thanks for watching and the comment! Bradenton really is a beautiful beach - between the water and the sand! And it's a fun little place to stay a weekend and enjoy some sun, fun, shopping and dining.
I despise Flagler sand, it hurts!
Oh really? We didn't find it too rough, but I'm sure it could be in some areas. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience with others!

Why?
the description of 'vibes' make those places sound too touristy and not quiet
And for the price of stay at any of these towns you can get 5* all inclusive somewhere in Dominican Republic. Including flight. Lol.
The DR is dirty and dangerous. The All inclusive food is trash. And venturing out is dangerous!!
Beaches are notorious for contamination.
Miami and South Beach Miami are greatly overrated. What about east FL like Tampa?
Wish you would have gone deeper into what your criteria for making the list. Most of these beaches are entirely too crowded and lack reasonable parking. Not to be obnoxious (about to be)… it is pronounced “aisle more ada” …
And 'Dune - din"
haha - we realize the locals may call it that but we can't shake our Spanish pronunciation sometimes.
I know. I live there.
lol. I’m soooo glad they left out all the most beautiful beaches in Florida… the Emerald Coast beaches… please go to Bradenton and leave us alone 😅.
