Gauss can fit many different playstyle's. Personally when I'm going very high level, I use the shield delay mods and arcane aegis. Replace Kinetic plating with dispensary for energy regen. The thing you swap out for the two shield mods is stretch and energy nexus. That version of gauss is pretty much unkillable, without needing 100% battery.
Yes that is definetely a very reliable thing to do! I mostly wanted to use the base Gauss kit and avoid subsuming, I like how his abilities work and wanted to make them viable in higher lvl stuff.
Not needed here cause we can spam out abilities a lot! Enemies won't know what happened to them and they will just disappear XD but yeah you can add it in if you prefer that (will require a couple more formas I think)
I would replace archon stretch and energy nexus with efficiency mods fleeting expertise r3 and replace arcane steadfast with molt efficiency 170 efficiency and equilibrium practically makes you have infinite energy thermal sunder is so spammable
It would work if you don't want to stay in a mission for a long period of time or if you're incredibly lucky with your health orbs drops. I skipped efficiency at all and went for a bit more passive energy regeneration because of this: sometimes you will run low on energy but archon stretch and energy nexus give you enough to get back on track very fast, plus free ability casts with steadfast and our sentinel makes it very easy to spam thermal sunder. You can probably get away with not using energy nexus and instead installing streamline but in my testing I found nexus more useful overall. With the amount of free casts you have with steadfast, efficiency becomes not that important. I'll give it a try with your idea and let you know though, seems good 👍
Really like your explanation on this. If it works why change it. I just built my first chroma and my energy source Is nourish + energy nexus. With my chroma at 100 duration 100 range, 45 efficiency and 300 strength: One cast of nourish costs 78 energy. But gives you back 285 energy over 25 seconds and that's without ever picking up an orb. Keeps my energy up at all times for a light shield gate and I heal myself in a pinch with molt reconstruct. Since I'm running the augment guardian armor. @@lordliborius
In terms of armor strip no, it doesn't matter. In terms of DMG on the other hand you can detonate a lot more heat procs (because they don't have a cap) than cold procs (capped at 10). Although I haven't tested it yet after the new status changes so I'm not 100% sure it still works the same way as it did when I released the video. Oh and of course there's the pull and push mechanic depending on which element you detonate

One of my favorite aspects of this game is hiw deeplybubcan customize into your own playstyke
Absolutely! You have all the tools and a massive library of mods to use!
if you want to not only armor strip, but also deal damage, use archon vitality

Hello why not energize and eruption arcane ?
it's mostly personal preference, I like how arcane steadfast works a bit more on spammy builds. You can use those if you feel more comfortable!

So it doesn't matter if I do heat or cold first right? Am I correct?
