I play this game a lot, so i understand your confusion, it is an information overload at beginning, but you dont have to understand everything from the beginning, you learn as you play, everything in its due time. this is a long-term game, not a short-term. takes a lot of time, yes, dedication as well, this doesnt have a regular mmorpg combat, its much more complex, but incredibly rewarding and fun once you understand it. the inputs combos for the skills, once you play enough, become natural, and it flows perfectly. the combat is amazing, like no other rpg, even though its a 10 years game, and i would say is what makes this game special, even comparing with newer mmorpgs
Thank you for sharing your experience with Black Desert. It's tough to fully get everything understood within two hours of playtime. I know there are other games out there that gate the user experience through the beginning part of the game. Was kind of expecting that and not the massive amount of stuff at the beginning. I see that there is a large community of players and streamers for the game and that is a really great thing to see. I'll probably spin it up some day in the future to give it a longer amount of play time.
That’s why I do these First 2 Hours series, sometimes the first parts of a game help in considering how the rest might play out. I’ll give BDO a more thorough chance in the future.
