Thank you for this video Tilda Owen. Once again, you talk about things that we viewers didn't think about before. Especially with how Callum sprout wings in order to rescue Rayla. You did it so well I can almost compare it to other instances or moments in other movies and TV shows. For suggestions, you can do The Dragon Prince himself, Zym, Ezran, Soren, Claudia, Viren and Aarovos for analysis of their character, personality, desires and motivations.
Thanks a lot! Yes, that image with the wings is so full of meaning! And if I had to choose myself, I'd analyse Rayla some more, I love her. Or Amaya and Janai, if their story is handled well (which I'm not sure it will...)

I'm very curious about season 4 as well, have only seen two episodes so far, and it hasn't really picked up yet... And my conservative side is unsatisfied with the new looks, but I guess I'll get used to them...

Honestly, I have my reservations about this relationship. And I've never been invested in it, as I'm one of the few who sees or saw them more as friends rather than a romantic couple. However, your knack for witty analysis has once again made me see what more there was to appreciate to the story or events at hand. Congrats and I look forward to whatever else you post about the show going forward.
Thank you! I like Rayllum, because they have built something from scratch, but I prefer the first three seasons... The following two have been rather disappointing, so much that I don't feel their connection anymore. Sad! And also why I probably won't be making many more videos about the Dragon Prince (unless the last two seasons improve significantly!)

I can't believe you're doing a video for the Dragon Prince (My 2nd favorite animated show) I was alos hooked on this show before Arcane. 3 years was worth the wait for season 4. The Dragon Prince is the type of show that progressively gets better each season like Avatar the Last Airbender.
Yes, I really hope season 4 is as good as season 3. The first episode isn't promising, but a lot can change!

Why did Rayla just now decide to come back? I wanted to know more about Aaravos. A lot of season 4 feels like set up.

Yes, I agree, use/misuse of power, magic/technology is definitely a theme that Arcane has in common with the Dragon Prince!
And there are also many things that Vi and Caitlyn have in common with Callum and Rayla, the yin-yang is also relevant to use for them, but not as much as for Raylum...

Many thoughs cames. One of them that it is true. There are no only one even the great one but many things put together) It is at all about connection, dynamic. And you know it seems like something complicated until this complex things becomes beautiful in hormony then your vision complitly chenged.

Yes, if something goes wrong all sorts of possibilities arise, very good point! If Rayla hadn't failed her mission, if she hadn't shown compassion/mercy, then the cycle of violence would have escalated!
And sometimes you can only truly know something, if you know its opposite... One of the reasons why Rayla and Callum are so good together ❤️

Great vid :) to me Rayla has always been a really strong character but I was wanting a bit more from Callum (as a character I thought he was a little flat) in season 1, seasons 2 & 3 really developed him and their relationship well though and I absolutely love them together! They’re probably the only straight couple that I really care a lot about haha. Very excited for season 4! Hopefully we see them together again soon 😭

Yes, the male characters really came into their own in seasons 2 and 3, not just Callum but also Soren 😊 Yes, this "straight" pairing is also one of my favourites, precisely because they have swapped so many gender characteristics and in general are really likeable without being perfect (like Vi and Caitlyn)
If Amaya and Janai are developed going forward, I definitely think I'll look into them, but I fear they've skipped all the good stuff! (I haven't seen more than one episode of season 4 yet..)
@@tildaowen ah yes I’ve just watched episode 1 and they’ve skipped their whole relationship! Bit miffed about that but hopefully they still get a storyline with some conflict between them to be resolved.

@@tildaowen Watched your whole video, so I guess a few spoilers in there. But that's ok. I'm glad the series actually has the progression of relationships that is written well, vs. the 5 seasons of unresolved longing /sexual tension that gets thrown away because viewership is down in season 6 and a hastily written 'whoo hoo they got together' and the whole dynamic of the show falls to pieces. Think Moonlighting, or Remmington Steele

I agree with you that the pacing of a romantic pairing is very important! I think the Dragon Prince has has handled Rayla and Callum's journey really well so far, but I hope it continues... They've skipped a lot of things with a new couple from what I can see so far in season 4, shame!
Arcane did a wonderful job with the pacing of Caitlyn and Vi's romantic journey! Let's hope it doesn't turn into Moonlighting (I think we're from the same generation), but I actually think the likelihood of that is little, considering how well written season 1 of Arcane is!
Oh, and I realise there are a few of your comments on my Arcane videos that I haven't answered yet, sorry, I'll get to them eventually 😊
