    Straight to the point. No stupid music, no stupid 3 seconds pausing and stupid jokes. Very professional

    This is by far the most informative and precise, not to mention helpful, tutorial video for motorcycle DIY. Thank you so much for this. Finally something useful.

    I watched another video prior to watching this one and the first one scared the heck out of me when it came to the cables. I'm so glad that i watched yours because if i hadn't, i never would have attempted to do it myself . Easily the best video on this subject. Thanks

    Great video. I should have watched this before I put my new Avon grips. I could have left my mirror perches on. But the Avon grips go on about 1/4" farther than the factory grips. So I had to move them up any way. Thank you for the great video. And this video shows how to correctly put the ferrules back on the throttle tube.

    Other videos have us removing the air filter housing, to expose the throttle body, to ensure throttle up opens fully, and throttle down closes fully. Curious if there is any risk in not doing that?

    Your video was better than three other popular videos I watched. Based on my 02 softail I did assume I would not need to remove the master cylinder and brake lever. I also found a way to replace the throttle cables at the carburetor throttle without removing the fuel tank and only removing the air cleaner cover

    what type of glue do you use

    • @R3RLEE
      @R3RLEE 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You dont need glue, just use washing up liquid to slide on the new grip once it dries it wont go anywhere.

      +TwoWheel_Fox Try wd-40 or compressed air, those 2 methods seem to work well.

  • @metalshopartslab1906

    you spent all your time on the throttle grip and didn't show any of the left hand grip. Didn't show the glue part, didn't give any examples of grips that you couldn't cut off. So basically you showed the easy part.

    The thing about Harleys is, you remove one screw and other things fall off later. Buy a real motorcycle.
