Thank you for your feedback. ;) I plan on doing a "maintenance" dose per doctors instruction. I know if I go off of it all the food noise and cravings will come back as it did when I came off Semaglutide. I went into this knowing full well I would have to stay on this for the long haul, and I am totally ok with it. This is a tool, and that is how I look at it. I have drastically changed my eating choices and will slowly introduce exercise as well and continue to do so. 😉
Doing great on Tirzapattide 7th week only lost 8 pounds but no cravings, no hunger, might up dose to .50. My goal is 20 pounds in all. Started at 145 goal is 123-125 lbs Blood work fine, adding sardines, salmon. and green milk shake with oat milk broccoli, carrots, beets, 2 egg white. and baby spinach daily. Still haven’t done any appreciable muscle building because Im busy with 45-60 minutes cardio a day. I try to do peloton with 4 pound weights for 30 minutes a day and 30 minutes walking up hill. I take Metamucil or 6 ounces light prune juice. You will have to remember to eat, because you will notice you won’t have as much energy for weight lifting unless you eat more. I get about 1,200 calories a day. I found if I was too hungry I couldn’t fall asleep.

I started on Wegovy in June and only lost 17lbs of the 50 I need to lose in 7 months. I got to the highest dose of 2.4mg and for 2 months I didnt lose anything. So my doctor switched me to Zepbound and I took my first dose of 7.5mg on Friday. I had some weird pains in my glands and across my neck and chest but it did subside the next day. I hope I can get to goal weight on the tirzepatide.
I had the same exact experience as you! I was on Ozempic (2mg) for a couple months, did not lose any weight, actually craved sugar… and I’m not a sugar kinda girl! Switched to compound Tirz and took my first dose on Friday night (7.5) and experienced terrible aching in my chest, back, ribs and neck… I was dumbstruck, bc I didn’t have side effects with Ozempic. The aching was pretty bad but it did in fact go away fully by mid-day on Day2. I am SO hoping this one works for me, I have a lot of weight to lose!!!

Hi Jill, I started taking Mounjaro in Dec 2024. I have type 2 diabetes and I am trying to bring those insulin injections down along with the weight gain I've experience with taking insulin injections. Mounjaro will help with this my doctor has told me so Mounjaro is Tirzepatide. So I pray this is my answer to lowering my A1C and help with weight loss. I started with 2.5mg in Dec and today I started 5mg. The only side effect I have seen was less hunger and my cravings have stopped. We will see what this next dose will bring. Taking it one day at a time and Journaling my food , weight and how I feel. Looking forward to your next video update on this. Thanks Mary from MN
I buy the "Core Power" protein drinks by Fairlife with 44 grams of protein in 1 shake. It's a great way to help get your protein in if you're not hungry. I struggle with getting my protein in. Also, we don't need anywhere near as much food as we think we do.
I’ve been on compound Semaglutide for almost 13 months (7.5 or 50cc’s was highest level) and lost 42lbs/158lbs. Always wanted this to be a slower process and stay on dosage as long as possible. I too have issues eating enough. My biggest hurdle was constipation, Magnesium, ZooPoo, Metamucil, MIRALAX, etc, etc! Think eating 2-3 semi dried prunes works best for me. I know the sugar is higher, but works for me without the side effects the others caused. About month 7 to 10 I hit a really slow period, we introduced Metformin (1000mg) which kick started weight loss again. I really noticed a difference in how I felt in general. Reached goal weight at month 11 and have started reducing injection cc’s (down to 20cc’s now). Goal is to stay on Metformin (possibly reduce to low dose 500mg) and get back to starting dose of Semaglutide (2.5 or 10cc’s). We’ll play with how often I take a shot down the road. It has taken a year for my body to find its sweeter spot. I’m very happy with where I’m currently at, but my journey isn’t over. I feel like I’ve got another 6 months to see how this all shakes out. Good luck on your journey.
I’m on semi. I know exactly what you mean about your stomach. We used to call it feeling “pitted out”. No idea why ... but it describes it pretty well. If I eat a protein bar it helps get rid of it.
I've been on zepboud since 11/25 on the pen for 2 months my new insurance didn't cover it but the compound is working just went up to 7.5 what a difference.
@ I took the 1/2 dose injection and NO nausea. Additionally, was able to get to the gym and work hard for an hour. I did get hungry eventually but only for a small meal. Working out even a little is definitely making this go smoothly.
Hi thanks for sharing your story. I was wondering if anyone is on the help and You had Your Gallbladder removed and if there is any difference in using the compounded? Thank You.
Hi! I had my gallbladder remove around 2006 or 7. I haven't had any issues regarding that since it was removed. ;) I talk about the initial differences I experiences within the first 2 weeks regarding semaglutide and tirzepatide in this video, and regarding using compounded vs. name brand....I have never used the name brand of either.
Hi Jill and Everyone, I wanted to share if I could please that I've been drinking the bullet proof coffee...you can Google the ingredients...I just make it myself with instant coffee and you can use no sugar creamer in it and it keeps me soo full that I have a hard time getting all my protein in so I only use a teaspoon of mct oil and barely a pat of butter in my coffee, I have to actually eat some protein prior to drinking it...I had to try it to believe it. I'm 60 and I lost 100 lbs and kept it off for 15 years now and I use this to maintain, when I gain a bit, along with low carb and intermittent fasting...works like a charm ❤
With respect, Miralax is NOT tasteless. I do NOT recommend taking it in plain water. Always take it in something flavored. I put it in my morning coffee (because of the pain medication I have to take simply to function day-to-day).
This did nothing for me 😢 I am about to start mounjaro. Congrats to you!! My doc sent mine to CanAmerica. My ins wouldn’t pay. Ozempic, no side effects at all. Lost a few pounds. Began to not work by highest dose.
🦋I do hear tirzepatide is the best, but right now I'm on semiglutide 🐌 (slowly loosing) 🎉Congratulations 🎉 on ur weightloss ❤. How's ur iron? I kinda feel sluggish on semiglutide, goes and comes😢. Thanks for the video❤
My experience on Zepbound. I am 10 weeks & lost 9 lbs. I only want to lose 10-15 lbs. no appetite, food noise went away. I started at 1.8mg for 4 weeks, 2.5 next 4 weeks (at this dose, I had no appetite & food noise, but I did have the feeling of food stuck in my gut) this is very uncomfortable feeling for several hours. It feels like you have stuffed yourself even though you haven’t or that you need to burp. I took GasX. This stuffed feeling has gone away. I think your body has to adjust. I am at my next dosage which with my provider is 3.8. It works, but expensive. So far $100 a lb. Time to buy again.
I’m curios if any of your followers or even yourself, have sugar addiction issues? I am a former smoker or 30+ years, quit on my own no help from medication but now have a severe addiction to anything sugar! My question being, do these drugs help with the sugar addiction? I’ve heard about the “food noise” but not really anything on sugar addiction. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.
THese medications slow the digestive process down (stomach emptying slows) which makes one feel full and not wanting to eat thus cuts down food noise which may include cravings like sugar and carbs. Your constant need for sugar is food noise. Most Americans have sugar addiction. If you want to fix that it takes cutting sugar out 100% and after a few weeks you won't care about it anymore. I did this while on Keto and I absolutely did not care to have sugar for several years. You have to read labels though because it is in so many things. Also sweeteners of any kind will re spark the brains desire for it and cravings will come back. Fruit even can do this.
I’ve been on compounded Tirzepatide for eight months. I’ve lost 61 pounds, I’m 6 pounds away from goal. I’ve avoided constipation by taking one teaspoon of Benefiber and 1 capful of MiraLAX in a flavored water every night, and I’ve had absolutely no constipation issues. I’m 66, 5’3 and lost an average of 1.8 pounds per week with no stalls. I stayed on 2.5 for two months and I stayed on 5.0 for a little over three months and the rest of the time I’ve been on 7.5 and like I said I’m almost to goal.
I understand the idea of food just sitting there. Felt like it was pushing on my ribs. Worried tht it mite be pushing on my heart. Yup. Not even drinking water for my meds.
I have to force myself to eat on those days. I was told that it does go away (unless one over eats...which how in the heck do people do that? haha!. I feel it definitely has gone away after a couple days into the second week.
Can I asked you question? What do you will do when you are off those magical pills? Gains weight on up again because you will have your normal appetite?
@@Coccinelle12 you are exactly right. You need to realize that if you plan to keep the weight off, most people have to maintain on a dose that is more of a maintenance and that looks different for everyone. Some people do the low-dose and inject just once a month… it just depends on what your doctor thinks will work best for you.
You are not asking me however, I am an older athlete and these electrolytes have worked for me these first 3 weeks: Endurolyte Salt Tabs, Skratch (citrus) and LMNT (orange).
I have used many. Not in love w/ the one I got from Costco...too sweet for me. I have LMNT flavorless too which I have to gulp. In general though I do feel like LMNT makes the best.
I watched Dr. Vonda Wright on The Diary of a CEO (TH-cam) this week. She is an orthopedic surgeon and longevity doctor. Fascinating information about weight, strength, muscle building, balance and aging.
@@PJ-wu8wq $400 a month which includes everything including doctor visits (via a FaceTime type of appointment), labs and your medication including a script for anti nausea medication just in case you need it. You mention “pregaining” or maybe” pregaming” according to the transcript. Can you say which word it is and what it is?
@@TheOnlyLila pregaming 😉
Congratulations Jill, a; I will be starting Zepbound next week. You speak of pregaming, can you explain what that is? Thanks Jill.
Hi! I go into detail about that in this video: th-cam.com/video/gmotgqgUfnI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Hqc-CfPUctHTGOAv
I’ve done this naturally. Lost 30 pounds in a few months.
This did nothing for me 😢 I am about to start mounjaro. Congrats to you!! My doc sent mine to CanAmerica. My ins wouldn’t pay. Ozempic, no side effects at all. Lost a few pounds. Began to not work by highest dose.
@@Tracymcgrath-p3e Mounjaro is Terzepatide. 👌🏻
@ I’m excited. What a letdown on ozempic 💯
Hey how long you been on semaglutide?I been on it tomorrow make 8 weeks.😢I feel so so bad low energy, feel so tired.
@@Gemma1558 that’s amazing !! 🤩 thanks for sharing!
What electrolytes do you like?
You are not asking me however, I am an older athlete and these electrolytes have worked for me these first 3 weeks: Endurolyte Salt Tabs, Skratch (citrus) and LMNT (orange).
I have used many. Not in love w/ the one I got from Costco...too sweet for me. I have LMNT flavorless too which I have to gulp. In general though I do feel like LMNT makes the best.
@@dlwilliamson5644 Thanks so much for sharing! I may try the LMNT orange!
@ thanks! I’m watching the salt and it’s tricky some use regular table salt
Hi! Are you using an online service, and if so, what one do you recommend? Thanks!
Hi! Yes, and I talk about that in this video here: th-cam.com/video/gmotgqgUfnI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eVjTD1n407FyBbik
Did I miss week 1 and 2?
Hi! I did a pre-game video before my 1st injection and then this one which is my first 2 weeks. ;)
Hi,what magnesium are you taking please? X
Hi! I am currently using SOLARAY Magnesium Glycinate 350mg (take 4 daily)
You look gorge in pink!
Thank you!
I watched Dr. Vonda Wright on The Diary of a CEO (TH-cam) this week. She is an orthopedic surgeon and longevity doctor. Fascinating information about weight, strength, muscle building, balance and aging.
Thank you for sharing! This is helpful to us all.
Yay!!!
What is the app you mentioned where you can add in a bunch of data?
MyNetDiary
If insurance isn't paying for it, how much is it costing you?
@@PJ-wu8wq $400 a month which includes everything including doctor visits (via a FaceTime type of appointment), labs and your medication including a script for anti nausea medication just in case you need it. Semaglutide is generally about $100 less. This through Remedy Meds. I can’t speak for other places. 😉
@@JillLynnBeautyTherapy Thanks so much!
Jill, will that price go up as you go up in the dosage?
@@amydaniels6442 Not at Remedy Meds, but other places do that. I really made sure that wasn't the case with Remedy Meds.

Welcome! 😄❤ Thank you for subscribing! Hope you enjoy and find value in what you choose to watch here. 👌🏻
A biometric scale is like one of the better scale
Zepbound??? Do ya have to take a shot??? Can I take a pill😢???? I HATE NEEDLES!!!
Hahaha! It actually does in a pill form. ;) BUT have to add that the needle is soooo small that it truly doesn't hurt at all. Yes, I give myself the injection weekly. ;)
@JillLynnBeautyTherapy Thank God 😁
Hi Jill, I have recently discovered your channel and enjoy your content very much! You are so awesome and I would like to buy you a "cup of coffee" :) Have you considered setting up a patron or other contribution page? I am recently retired and no longer have the option to support others via a monthly paycheck donation. Now I contribute to people like you helping people like me navigate life's ups and downs. Think about it!
Aww....what a kind and sweet thing for you to do! I will have to consider doing Patreon. ❤
Do you have Type 2 Diabetes?
No. I don't. Which I do talk about. My doctor recommened Zepbound (Tirzepatide) for weight loss because it was designed specifically for weight loss. OZempic created for type 2 diabetes.
Just ordered smart scale. Thanks for recommendation. Received 1st Semaglutide injection today!
Hope you like it....I love mine!
I’m on semiglutide .50 units and I’m still hungry all the time I’m going to my doctor to see if I should go up or change meds
@@maryreynolds5253 if your sole purpose is to lose weight, I would ask to switch to Tirzepatide. Something about that second hormone receptor that works so well to kill cravings and stop the food noise.
Jill, did you say you’re on a starting dose of 7.5? My doc started me at 2.5!??
No same with me... 2.5
Yeah, I can tell right away that you lost away and I would say probably 10 pounds 10 to 15 pounds nothing😊😊
Well, that's exciting. 😄 Thank you!
I lost nothing really on Saxenda. Wegovy with too many GI side effects. Zepbound combined with the Ideal Protein diet has done wonders. I'm down 30 pounds since Sept 1st and I'm almost to goal.
