On this model Thetford, can the seal be replaced from the top without pulling the whole toilet off? Or does it have to be installed from the bottom?
I need assistance as I am in South Africa and cannot get the Aqua Magic IV waste tank canister and it is a hand flash long model. Is there a possibility of helping me? Thanks
I have the same one. On the back on the top left by the lid there is that spring and when I flush the black tank smell is released and it’s awful… any tips?

I have the exact toilet in this video. Came in a 2018 Jayco BH154.
The foot pedal remains in the down position, but the damper remains closed with no water flow, so I ASSUME the cable has come off or broke.
Would it be just as good to replace with the same unit as it would be to just fix the cable ? Assuming again, it's just the cable and not the connection(s) to the pedal or damper.

Okay that rubber ring for the bottom of the toilet is the flange seal, like the wax ring that comes with a residential toilet.
I have the hand flush model in my 2015 Nash 23D. Can I connect a hand sprayer to use as a bidet?

Hi , I have an older Terry Resort with and Aqua Magic IV toilet hand flus and rinse . I'm trying to find one like it so I dont have to do any plumbing . Any idea where I can get one ? So far I can only find the Aqua Magic V . Thank you .
Aqua magiv IV its a roman numeral. So the aqua magic V is the most recent one and the fitting is the same

I tried to put the V in it and it wouldnt fit . The base was too long and ran into the wall . Do you know anyone that rebuilds these things ?
I just bought this toilet and am concerned about how it is open on the inside. Does the waste get caught up in this area?
Yes it does. I should have taken a picture of all the crap that splashes up inside
This cavity is to accomodate the flush mechanism and although subject to fecal matter, is sealed from the interior of the rv. Waste drops down into the holding tank below due to gravity and does not normally build up in this area.
I am going to be converting a shuttle bus, no tanks. I prefer this model toilet over a cassette version but how can I make it work with no tanks? Are you a plummer amd in Florida? So am I! (in Florida, not a plummer) Could you help me figure out the plumbing for my bus conversion project in about 4-5 months? I'm in Port Richey just north of Tampa.
I am also interested in the Dometic porcelain flushing toilet. FYI, I will be living full time in my converted shuttle bus.

For in home use, a porcelain model makes far more sense due to cost and more use. You’ll pay the same or likely near the same cost.
That toilet is a piece of junk. Ordered the VI, and its just as bad. I dont recommend it.
