Great video! I love your binder. Over Thanksgiving my Grandfather gave me his set of 1959 Book of Knoweledge that he and my Grandmother got when my Dad was little. SO exciting!
Tricia Stubbs awesome!! i just posted a new video on that and I have more planned. I found some other gems on how to fully utilize that set, I’m very excited about it!!
Thank you for this! I just made up my routine after a couple of weeks of tracking our day to day, and pinning down something workable with 2 toddlers! I can not begin to tell you how helpful your channel has been, especially the miracle morning routine. And that you posted on that topic a second time just recently. The first time you made a video about it months ago, I skimmed over the info, but this time I knew I needed a change, Wrote it down, and have done it every day for maybe a month now, and wow I am so impressed, and grateful that you shared this valuable information! Thank you Karen!!! It's changed my life around so much for the better!
Aw I'm so glad! Remember to just give yourself a lot of grace because there are always times that it just might not happen in our childbearing years BUT know that no matter what season you may be in, you KNOW you found a good formula you can always jump back into. It's like riding a bike when you start up again. You are are doing a great job! I think you being the artistic person that you are, being able to spend even just a few minutes on reading, and writing in the morning probably fuels you up.
Our House you’re right! Doing a gratitude journal in the morning helped when I thought to myself...ok what do I write besides a list of today’s to dos? Then other writing sometimes comes up as I start thinking about things. A night time reflection time has been super helpful to. Giving myself Grace is the hardest part, if I don’t finish a task when it was planned-like cleaning the bathroom, I’ll leave the things there and pick up when the babies are playing nicely.
And not get upset that it didn’t get finished. It will get finished! I need to focus on that in general, finishing tasks. Any advice? Especially when it comes to making content , like a video-the editing and sharing part.
This was interesting and made me want to start a new binder! I had a home management binder years ago when FlyLady was popular. I think she called it a control journal. Zsuzsa is sending me one of those cookbooks.
You are going to love the cookbook! I was very much influenced by the Fly Lady back in the day. The swish and wipe and shinned sink have stayed with me all these years lol.
💝💝💝 I’m ready to add to my binder and downsize more!!! I’ve really enjoyed the feeling of downsizing. It’s a lot of work and taking time since there are 6 pack rats here. LOL Thanks for the video and links.
Karen, I've been with RC for years, I also have six kids. I've got a few challenges--working, caring for mother-in-law, but especially DYSLEXIA. And when you opened your binder--dyslexia! In the left-hand pocket. My oldest son, 15 on Sunday, is so smart and motivated, but canNOT read. We've used audios extensively. There are lots of posts from me on the RC page about dyslexia, but I'm always eager to talk about it and glean from other people's experience. Have you got a video about dyslexia or other learning challenges? Thank you!
Not yet, I’m still trying to learn and navigate it myself. The best advice I’ve found is to just go slow, but teach them how to read. I’m back to doing 100 easy lessons to read because it does a lot with speech. My son has speech issues too, so he goes to speech therapy once a week. They want him to see a specialist for dyslexia but I haven’t gotten that far yet. Right now I’m trying to focus on his confidence, not putting ideas in his head that something is wrong with him, but rather he just needs a little more attention and slow and steady wins the race.
I got it from the author to use in a video review I made for it. But it is available for pre-order now at this link---store.framingtheworld.com/products/busy-family-menu-planning-pre-order-ships-by-christmas
Saved by Grace I drink coffee so it can get pretty bad lol. I brush my teeth every few days with baking soda and this higher percentage hydrogen peroxide. amzn.to/2QdMZ98
oil pulling is great for this. I drink coffee too and this is my go to, and helps remove sensitivity too! First thing in AM, Swish a small amount of coconut oil first thing up to 20 min, DONT SWALLOW! spit into trash NOT sink-it will clog the drain. Rinse, brush teeth, then you can go about your normal routine.
Great video! I love your binder.

I will definitely do a video on it though if I have more information to offer on anything that works.
