Get some foaming carpet cleaner in a can and spray on carpet first. The kind they sell for cleaning your car. Spray it on the stains and let it sit awhile and then use this machine on it. The turtle wax brand or armour all brand works very good. The stuff you mix in the water tank isn’t very good that’s why I use a car seat cleaner on stains first

Thank you very much! I was hoping to not have to take out all those screws but I just used mine for the first time and it doesn't look like the brush rollers are moving as I shampoo. So not sure if the belt is on and working correctly.
Unfortunately for this one there are no attachments. You'd have to buy a separate machine. What I do for stains on our couch, I spray shout and rub it with a damp cloth. Works pretty good!
Ouch I was trying to remove the container with it tilted,,!, mistake! Almost took it back lol, instructions show that the top of the container with dirty water comes off,but no right.?

I wish I had seen this before burning the belt 😂. I tried to remove the brush... I didn't know how to unscrew the hold thing... I cleaned it and put it back in... I smelled something burning ... Noticed the brush wasn't moving...the belt was burnt 😆. Well that's that. I was able to order new ones Now I know. But as an FYI, surprisingly I was able to still use it without the belt. I wouldn't recommend it though but I wanted to finish the job. Thanks
The older model that I have, isn't made that the sides can be open as it is one solid piece. Also, the little filter cup under the dirty water container isn't removable. But thank you for a very thorough instructional video. Job well done!! 👍
It works really well in that it only leaves the rug slightly damp! 😊 If you're still worried you can always place a liner underneath but in my case it wasn't necessary.

I have one and only had it about 3 months and I had just used it and turned it off . I went to start it again it it will not start. I’m very disappointed
This machine does a great job cleaning. But it is a real pain to clean the machine afterwards. The release mechanisms on the parts do not work very easily. You sped through that quickly in the video.
@@WandaleeArnau Unfortunately, I allowed some of the sediment dry inside because I couldn't get it all out. I really like this affordable rug shampooer, it cleans so well, but the design of the tank is terrible, you can't even get brushes inside to clean stuck on grime. Thank you for your response Wanda:)

This is what I could find! Gently push the tip of a pen or paperclip into the opening marked with a triangle and toggle to the proper setting. Then, press and hold the tip into the opening marked with a square until the light turns off. The indicator is now reset.
I do not recommend anybody to use a drill on those screws because they will eventually make a mistake and you will strip that screw if you going to do that don't do it often every once in awhile do a thorough cleaning
Wow first of all never use a drill on metal screws that go into plastic. After a few times of taking this apart use a plain old fashioned hand held screwdriver and do not over tighten it. I could hear your drill trying to strip the head of the screw on every one. On the front clear plastic piece you can hold the machine upside down over the sink and just rinse it out. make sure you keep the water out of the Power switch. Just watching you pry the plansitc like you were you are too impatient for this type of work. Watch a video before you take anything apart.

About 2 hours. It doesn't leave it soaking wet. It was lightly damp.

Same thing happened with mine.
The dirty water part does not come apart for cleaning. Bad design. Other models have a different mechanism to clean it out.
Just use a garden hose on "JET" to clean up after. It is way easier.

Any body know how to take the water tank apart to clean it better? I find some sediment stays in the tank.

Wow first of all never use a drill on metal screws that go into plastic. After a few times of taking this apart use a plain old fashioned hand held screwdriver and do not over tighten it. I could hear your drill trying to strip the head of the screw on every one. On the front clear plastic piece you can hold the machine upside down over the sink and just rinse it out. make sure you keep the water out of the Power switch. Just watching you pry the plansitc like you were you are too impatient for this type of work. Watch a video before you take anything apart.
Thanks for the feedback! It got easier the 2nd time around and I did end up using a handheld. Definitely not impatient, I fast forwarded that part so it wouldnt take too much time in the video. 😄
What a complicated and pain in the butt job to maintain and clean this thing. That's a hard pass for me. I can't thank you enough for showing this and what would be expected of me as a consumer using this product.

It is impossible to clean the dirty water tank
It's definitely tricky but if you fill it, shake and rinse it, repeated times if needed it's possible. They should have made it easier to empty.
