Wow Tim this is about the best coverage of the kits that were there being you got to talk to the builders too and they could say just what they had done to them but when you were at Randy Derr kit and he started taking the lug nuts off the kit I was blown away the kit was already so far over the top but to see him take the lugs off the tires oh man , I really enjoyed the video you did unbelievable job hats off to you sir thanks for the look
I have more footage of the Vette and Randy talking about it. Thought about making a video of all that footage dedicated to just the Vette since it's such a great build. And especially since it won Best in Show.
These 'Professional" builds show a lot of ingenuity and imagination. The nicest cars that I ever built wouldn't even make it to a place on these 'show tables'. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.

Back in the mid ‘80s my buddy Sean Adams and myself used to build Mad Max “Road Warrior” cars kind of like 7:12 mark. I used to save all my extra parts in a tackle box and that was my “junk yard parts bin” basically lol. We made some badass concepts lol. I did a 1970 Boss 429 Mustang Mad Max Interceptor. Wish I still had that.
ahhhh..... a lotta time gone's by for me.....almost hate see'n that only big $$$$$$$$$$ 3D printing takes the cake anymore. BUT.. wow......... how else get such extraordinary results. Oh well.............beautiful presentation. TY for this...
The 'Pretty' and 'Shiny' builds are gorgeous but the 'Faux-tina' ex. the reddish F100 Ford Pick-up and many, many others as well, are nothing short of Remarkable. If I were to be judging the "Best of Show" Build I truly do not know how I could make a 100% Objective choice on which would be my choice for 'Winner'. The field is THAT Deep. I am really impressed!

In fact I took advantage of the 40 percent sale at Hobby Lobby and picked up 2 kits that have been on my wish list for a while!!( Revell 70 Buick GSX and Revell 81 Chevy Camaro Z28)!!
And what's more the Z28 has some reminiscing value since a family friend had an 80 Z28 ( which is more or less identical to the 81).. Then he traded it in on an 82 Corvette so guess what other kit is now on my wish list??
I think Round 2 has quite a few nice kits coming out soon too...(AMT 68 Road Runner,AMT 63 Studebaker Avanti) that I can't wait to get my hands on either!!
You normally don't see too many of those at the model contests Harry. Seems like the 3rd Gen Camaro was only released a few short times by Revell, Monogram and AMT. Atlantis just came out with one but it's 1/32 scale. Once in a while you will see the BIG 1/8 Camaro from Monogram. I know they are starting to become popular at the Car Shows, do you have one of those Camaro's in real life?
Actually I have 2 of them. A 1986 z28 and a 1991 rs. I'm having trouble getting the rs camaro to run but the 86 camaro runs sometimes and then doesn't run. I still love the car though.

Last summer I was at the store and came across an older lady (she had to be in her 80's) and I talked to her about her Camaro that she bought new. Tried to give her my name and number if it ever came up for sale and she said there were 100 people waiting in line to get the car. So needles to say, I didn't give her my number.
In the beginning was that 32 Ford.Was checking out printed '32 frames.1/24 1/25 scale model car parts Custom '32 Ford frame Nahuel design 3d printed on ebay....would look good

I've done the 69 Hurst Olds and 69 442 W30 kits. Both were an absolute blast to build!!
