God, your point about the difference between Floch and Connie is fking spot on. The problem about almost all of these alliance characters isn't just how they act, but how the story treats them and how the other characters react to them. I don't hate Annie because she killed people to get to her dad. I hate her because she did despicable things to the Scouts, and yet she's not treated with any contempt by them whatsoever.

I mean it is literally the elite of both Paradis and Marley, and they were barely winning. If it weren't for Shadis the reinforcements would've ended up killing everyone since Reiner, Annie, and Armin would've been out of combat, leaving only the Jaw and Cart Titan along with Magath, Gabi, Jean, Connie, Hange, and Mikasa, at that point the Jaegerist would overwhelm them too much. The only real problem would've been Mikasa, but with a good strategy or the sight of her losing everybody she would be eventually defeated.
To all the people who say "if you don't like the show, just drop it", once you're 4 seasons in and you only have around 5 episode left till the end, it's difficult to drop the show at its climax. Did anyone notice how in Floch's epic run, the cart titan, without any armor, took a thunderspear to the face and was unscathed, it even kept going after Floch's leg like that explosion that destroyed both female and armor titan did nothing to it.

Yes expect the guy who almost killed a kid to act morally superior to Floch. The survey corps aren't super heroes, they're trained killers. Honestly the problems I have with the story is 1. How did six people fight an army of titans without a single casualty, 2. No one confronts Eren about Hanji's death and Armin thanking him for commiting murder.
Not even that how did they all survive this fight ? Jean and Connie at least should have died there both average at best yet they fight like they got injected by Ackerman genes

You're right. Attack on Titan has nosedived since armin mikasa etc. decided to team up with the people who until minutes ago had been trying their best to exterminate the whole of paradis.
They teamed up with to stop the conflict between the two countries hence why armin didn't let Connie feed falco to his mom. A life or death situation like genocide on the whole world will take the whole world itself to stop an army that can commit mass genocide. Prime example Independence Day. Reiner knows what it's like in both countries n ultimately wants peace. N armin knows thats but marley want Paradis gone for that to happen which is why reiner n annie comes into play cuz he n her seen what it's like in both countries n both basically say its no different like eren did. And with eren commit mass genocide on the world armin with the genus he's is saw a opportunity for peace between the two countries by teaming up n stopping eren. Armin didn't know he was going to kill the world. He thought he was keep them in check with the rumbling. N with that being said even if they did stop eren. He probably knows Marley would still kill off the eldians so he sent Floch as the fall guy/the terrorist n created the yeagerist to make a separate army from Paradis. The fight on the pier is what getting the soldiers of Paradis n Marley on the same page of want gotta be done n show type people they will be working. That battle was more for peick n mageth cuz they are the ones who where still skeptical of the eldians of Paradis.

It is the same as every other moments in which Mikasa agrees to help but hesitates about killing Eren. Actions speak louder than worlds & in the final battle, everybody carries Mikasa. At one point even Annie returns to help, showing character growth, but still Mikasa (while all her comrades are in danger) can't commit to kill Eren. In the end she still needs Erens help, via paths bullshit dream-memory, to convince her to kill him. So nahh, this isn't a big deal.

While I personally don't like the ending either as an anime watcher(I read manga for the final chapter), I'm not gonna shit on Isayama for the rest of his work. It was a huge mistake and he has to take an L for that. But I'm not gonna say it's bad either. It is what it is.
Ultimately, the main problem with AoT is the fact that it was so successful and it was a shonen. If Isayama just ended it with whatever he originally had planned after 50-60 chapters or whatever he was originally aiming for, the story would most likely be a whole lot better in characterization and theme. Victim of his own success.

The animation this episode was definitely an improvement, though I wish this budget could've gone more to the the fight with Eren and Reiner in the beginning. The writing unfortunately continues to hamper the story from this point on. I definitely can't wait for 130-131 before I drop this series and move on. For you Aoe people out there, the next episode will be the make or break for the theory so get the copium ready.

I mean it is literally the elite of both Paradis and Marley, and they were barely winning. If it weren't for Shadis the reinforcements would've ended up killing everyone since Reiner, Annie, and Armin would've been out of combat, leaving only the Jaw and Cart Titan along with Magath, Gabi, Jean, Connie, Hange, and Mikasa, at that point the Jaegerist would overwhelm them too much. The only real problem would've been Mikasa, but with a good strategy or the sight of her losing everybody she would be eventually defeated.
To all the people who say "if you don't like the show, just drop it", once you're 4 seasons in and you only have around 5 episode left till the end, it's difficult to drop the show at its climax. The writing is extremely flawed. The first three seasons were masterpieces and then s4 p1 and p2 are complete shit. They teamed up with to stop the conflict between the two countries hence why armin didn't let Connie feed falco to his mom. A life or death situation like genocide on the whole world will take the whole world itself to stop an army that can commit mass genocide. Prime example Independence Day. Reiner knows what it's like in both countries n ultimately wants peace. N armin knows thats but marley want Paradis gone for that to happen which is why reiner n annie comes into play cuz he n her seen what it's like in both countries n both basically say its no different like eren did. And with eren commit mass genocide on the world armin with the genus he's is saw a opportunity for peace between the two countries by teaming up n stopping eren. Armin didn't know he was going to kill the world. He thought he was keep them in check with the rumbling. N with that being said even if they did stop eren. He probably knows Marley would still kill off the eldians so he sent Floch as the fall guy/the terrorist n created the yeagerist to make a separate army from Paradis. The fight on the pier is what getting the soldiers of Paradis n Marley on the same page of want gotta be done n show type people they will be working. That battle was more for peick n mageth cuz they are the ones who where still skeptical of the eldians of Paradis.

I feel like your just purposely misunderstanding their argument. They with fine with using the rumbling to destroy the combined military in Marley. They were not in board with killing every living sole outside the island. The different sides settle their differences on the basis that they both fight to destroy MC who became the ultimate villain. Aside from changes in character and obviously the design of the plot, the theme/mechanic is exactly the same

The animation this episode was definitely an improvement, though I wish this budget could've gone more to the the fight with Eren and Reiner in the beginning.
The writing unfortunately continues to hamper the story from this point on. I definitely can't wait for 130-131 before I drop this series and move on. For you Aoe people out there, the next episode will be the make or break for the theory so get the copium ready.
