I do agree. Because Mikasa is now happy, although yes she still is in love with Eren, and yes nothing will change the fact that Eren is Mikasa's true love, she will always long for him, but despite that she has now moved on. She taught us that you can move on without forgetting someone or stop loving them. She is in love with someone new, although that person can never replace Eren or become her true love, he can make her happy and give her a peaceful life. Till this day, Mikasa's heart remains nearest to Eren, he is still her home, but even still she has found meaning in her life and achieved her own happiness. Mikasa proved that she even though she will never fully move on from her true love, it doesn't mean she is incapable of achieving peace and happiness, although parts of her will always go back to Eren and wonder how they could've been, she will accept it and move on. Keep remembering him and be happy with her life. Truly a great message but man it still hurts.

If the love of your life dies, you obviously don't stop loving them but you can find someone new who will make you happy and live a peaceful life with them. Mikasa is obviously happy with her new life, but parts of her will always be sad bro, she had a sad life, but even still Mikasa knows she has to leave those parts behind and move on. Mikasa will remember Eren always, but she can love someone else and be fully happy, even if that person is a second choice. Just because she will never fully move on Eren doesn't mean she will be not happy, it's a given that Mikasa will forever love Eren and will wear that scarf, but those things are definitely accepted by Mikasa, which means she can live a good life despite longing for Eren. Like I also mentioned, she is in love with someone new as well. Although that person will not replace Eren, I know she did not marry him for no reason. So she is happy, that's probably why she keeps going to Eren's grave, to show him that she will never forget about him but that she is happy.

I can't help but laugh a little on the inside when I see people calling the sequel character Beren, because it just makes me think of Beren from The Silmarillion (that's basically the Lord of the Rings backstory for those that aren't familiar). Which I think is hilarious since comparing the way they ended up it's safe to say that Beren was far more of a Chad than Eren. The man managed to successfully pull one over on Sauron's BOSS (never mind Sauron himself) and in doing so completed a task that was designed to be IMPOSSIBLE (basically "Go to Hell and steal this super rare and important MacGuffin from Satan") so that he could marry the woman he loved who was considered one of the most beautiful Elves of all time and was LITERALLY HALF ANGEL (or at least half of the LotR equivalent of angels), didn't let having his arm torn of and even BEING KILLED by the biggest damn Werewolf ever stop him (that's right, not even fucking DEATH could stop this man), and in the end went on to make a dynasty of long-lived super badasses that founded the greatest kingdom in Middle Earth and eventually culminated in Aragorn from the main series.
The only way Isayama can redeem himself for me personally, is if he puts his original ending in the Anime, just like how he modified stuff in the uprising arc, and other stuff too, and it's not like he isn't doing that anymore in S4, he clearly is, cuz y'all remember that Willy Tybur scene with his kids that was added? Tbh chapter 139 just recons his whole character. Eren did know why he did the rumbling. Even in his inner dialogue, I don't care about ships, I fell in love with eren's character, I loved the rumbling, I love the themes of the story, but chapter 139 eren's character got destroyed. Reiner and the rest of the characters got destroyed too. Tbh I thought that eren was going to complete the rumbling, kill his friends, and still be alive back on Paradis. Paradis can be free from war and hatred. But instead we get this trash ending that ruins every character. Historia character got sidelined. Tbh I don't think that Paradis deserves it but Paradis being destroyed is a realistic outcome. The cringe alliance shouldn't have tried to stop eren in the first place and now they are regretting it. Floch and the yeagerists tried so hard to protect their home and secure paradise future. That's why I was an yeagerists fan and not an alliance. Because I would fight and protect something too that was important to me.

I never put that much importance on ships in SnK and shows that I watch in general (outside of romance shows which I rarely watch any), so can someone explain to me why EM shippers are upset? I honestly don't understand why Mikasa getting with Jean means that their ship "sunk" when their ship sunk already in 139 which showed Eren dying. EM could never be a thing since one of them are dead. Why are they only getting upset now? Kind of like in Gurren Lagann's Kamina and Yoko, the ship ended when Kamina died not when she started developing feelings for Kittan. On a side note, it's nice to see Jean being happy, he's honestly one of my favourite characters in SnK and had the best character development in the entire series imo.

Honestly I would of liked a spin off than “next generation”. Telling the story through the eyes of the Warriors would of been more interesting. Following Reiner, Annie, Bertholdt + Porco, Piech’s stories. How they saw Paradis as the bad guys instead.

In the end Kanbari of the Iron Fortress was a better story than AOT post basement. Because the new themes were not handled properly while in KOTIF theme were more cohesive even though it was flawed.

I don't think people get that Kodansha has major power over Isayama, it's not a few people, it's a whole company. Do people really believe that a 11 year old high profit manga would've just stopped? No. Plus, they own like half of SNK, this is not a partly take of the cake, they take a big part. That's why series like DB, One Piece, Naruto, last for so long, and looking at the numbers, SNK is on that same level, so no, Isayama is not trying to continue the series, it's Kodansha that is pushing him to end the series which could end up in a sequel in which he doesn't need to be part of.

They could've finished the story with AnR. Making AOT a masterpiece to be remembered. Then they can do spinoffs/ prequels. Like the Tyburs and the King Karl, The 145th King or an Attack on Titan AU. But nope, gonna destroy the entire story and it's reputation first.
There have been so many of my favorite franchises ruined because of the creators greed in the past. So when I found out what happened with aot I felt completely numb. Though when you talked about how he chose greed over wrapping up the story in a better way I felt a first spark of disgust come over me. Like I'm not mad....just disappointed in you Isayama.

It kinda pisses me off that Isayama had Historia tell Eren 'what if I have a baby?' as if that has any relevance to the rumbling conversation. Imagine if in season 2 before the fort battle, Historia told Ymir, 'what if I have a baby?' In any context, throwing something like that in with no relevancy just comes off as stupid, especially when they end the story with her just. Banging a farmer who literally bullied her. Like, ok? Why does she like a bully, why wouldn't she want Eren to pipe
To think the integrity of his story wasn’t as important to him as we thought, I can understand if he was cornered into writing a sequel but to still end AoT the way he did was unacceptable and these extra panels only add to the fact that this ending is truly abysmal.

Isayama will come to regret selling out to greedy corporations. He may have been pressured by his family or the publishers. But he didn't understand how precious his story was to all of us. Just like eren in this story he just sacrified the 20 per cent that would have made his story a masterpiece. I, as much as I hate to, absolutely agree with this. For now I have other theories that explain the current leaks and theories of sequels, but this one is highly promising. It makes total and utter sense, which I absolutely hate. Yams also promised an ending where everyone dies, all this is coming together and I cannot stand it. Because Mikasa is now happy, although yes she still is in love with Eren, and yes nothing will change the fact that Eren is Mikasa's true love, she will always long for him, but despite that she has now moved on. She taught us that you can move on without forgetting someone or stop loving them. She is in love with someone new, although that person can never replace Eren or become her true love, he can make her happy and give her a peaceful life. Till this day, Mikasa's heart remains nearest to Eren, he is still her home, but even still she has found meaning in her life and achieved her own happiness. Mikasa proved that she even though she will never fully move on from her true love, it doesn't mean she is incapable of achieving peace and happiness, although parts of her will always go back to Eren and wonder how they could've been, she will accept it and move on. Keep remembering him and be happy with her life.

Mikasa is obviously happy with her new life, but parts of her will always be sad bro, she had a sad life, but even still Mikasa knows she has to leave those parts behind and move on. Mikasa will remember Eren always, but she can love someone else and be fully happy, even if that person is a second choice. Just because she will never fully move on Eren doesn't mean she will be not happy, it's a given that Mikasa will forever love Eren and will wear that scarf, but those things are definitely accepted by Mikasa, which means she can live a good life despite longing for Eren. Like I also mentioned, she is in love with someone new as well. Although that person will not replace Eren, I know she did not marry him for no reason. So she is happy, that's probably why she keeps going to Eren's grave, to show him that she will never forget about him but that she is happy.

I can't help but laugh a little on the inside when I see people calling the sequel character Beren, because it just makes me think of Beren from The Silmarillion (that's basically the Lord of the Rings backstory for those that aren't familiar). Which I think is hilarious since comparing the way they ended up it's safe to say that Beren was far more of a Chad than Eren. The man managed to successfully pull one over on Sauron's BOSS (never mind Sauron himself) and in doing so completed a task that was designed to be IMPOSSIBLE (basically "Go to Hell and steal this super rare and important MacGuffin from Satan") so that he could marry the woman he loved who was considered one of the most beautiful Elves of all time and was LITERALLY HALF ANGEL (or at least half of the LotR equivalent of angels), didn't let having his arm torn of and even BEING KILLED by the biggest damn Werewolf ever stop him (that's right, not even fucking DEATH could stop this man), and in the end went on to make a dynasty of long-lived super badasses that founded the greatest kingdom in Middle Earth and eventually culminated in Aragorn from the main series.
The only way Isayama can redeem himself for me personally, is if he puts his original ending in the Anime, just like how he modified stuff in the uprising arc, and other stuff too, and it's not like he isn't doing that anymore in S4, he clearly is, cuz y'all remember that Willy Tybur scene with his kids that was added? Yup, that's Isayama. That's the only inch of hope I have for this series...and then he can do whatever tf he wants with the manga😂

Tbh chapter 139 just recons his whole character. Eren did know why he did the rumbling. Even in his inner dialogue, I don't care about ships, I fell in love with eren's character, I loved the rumbling, I love the themes of the story, but chapter 139 eren's character got destroyed. Reiner and the rest of the characters got destroyed too. Tbh I thought that eren was going to complete the rumbling, kill his friends, and still be alive back on Paradis. Paradis can be free from war and hatred. But instead we get this trash ending that ruins every character. Historia character got sidelined. Tbh I don't think that Paradis deserves it but Paradis being destroyed is a realistic outcome. The cringe alliance shouldn't have tried to stop eren in the first place and now they are regretting it. Floch and the yeagerists tried so hard to protect their home and secure paradise future. That's why I was an yeagerists fan and not an alliance. Because I would fight and protect something too that was important to me.

I honestly don't understand why Mikasa getting with Jean means that their ship "sunk" when their ship sunk already in 139 which showed Eren dying. EM could never be a thing since one of them are dead. Why are they only getting upset now?
Kind of like in Gurren Lagann's Kamina and Yoko, the ship ended when Kamina died not when she started developing feelings for Kittan.
On a side note, it's nice to see Jean being happy, he's honestly one of my favourite characters in SnK and had the best character development in the entire series imo.

I don't think people get that Kodansha has major power over Isayama, it's not a few people, it's a whole company. Do people really believe that a 11 year old high profit manga would've just stopped? No.
Plus, they own like half of SNK, this is not a partly take of the cake, they take a big part. That's why series like DB, One Piece, Naruto, last for so long, and looking at the numbers, SNK is on that same level, so no, Isayama is not trying to continue the series, it's Kodansha that is pushing him to end the series which could end up in a sequel in which he doesn't need to be part of.

Just like eren in this story he just sacrified the 20 per cent that would have made his story a masterpiece. I think there was a mind-blowing ending in there planned for years but he just gave up in the end.
