I cried three times during this, Eren crying in the beginning i cried. I cried lightly when Armin and Annie seperated. A LOT WHEN HANGE PASSED...WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT NOW I HAD A MENTAL BREAKDOWN.

In my opinion, killing Zeke won't do a thing.
Ymir only gave the founding's power to the royal bloods because she was still attached to the blood of the first king. She chose to give them that power. Once she refused to give it to Zeke and gave it to Eren, that became HIS power. Royal blood doesn't mean anything anymore. The royal bloodline was never special, their blood is the same as every Eldian's blood. It was Ymir that made it special. Now, that's in the past. Zeke or not, ALL of the founding's power BELONGS to Eren, with no strings attached (no king fritz's brainwashing). Eren is the first person in 100 years to possess the full capabilities of the founder, most of which, are still unknown... Especially when it comes to shared memories and transcendence of time.
True, but the only one that knows that is Eren, Armin and all of them don't know that, so it's logical that they need to kill Zeke so Eren doesn't have the founding titan power anymore
@Arse Hole but assuming royal blood is insignificant now like the original commenter said, then coming into contact shouldn’t matter anymore, and eren could’ve been using a grey fake version of the beast titan with the founders power to take out airships
@@arsehole3528 I haven't read the manga so I don't know the answer, but I have the same opinion as the OP here. I don't see why royal blood would be significant to activate the Founder anymore. Sure, it was before, when Ymir was still in a slave mindstate, but imo not anymore. The fact that they speculated about it in the plane is, for me, a hint that it won't happen: we will see Zeke die but the Rumbling won't stop as they hoped, they will have to kill Eren. And for me, the reason Eren went out of his way to take Zeke with him is just to be able to use his power/as a decoy. I think that the Beast Titan we see is a fake, yes, but created using both Zeke's and the War Hammer Titan abilities, like Zeke is (or was before Reiner caught him) connected to him via a cristal (like Lara Tybur). But hey, we'll know in the fall who got it right.

i was already through the manga even so i had to cry alot in this episode
So I made two pretty grave mistakes before I watched these episodes.
One, I didn't do a rewatch or recap even though I hadn't watched in a year or so. I feel like I missed out on my own peak emotional experience with this masterpiece....which is probably why I've been so stuck on reaction videos since (yours was one of my favorites by the way! Great video my friend).
And number two, I made dinner before starting. Do you even know how hard it is to chow down on nugs while you watch terrified kids get stomped in slow mo???

Nah don't get me started in this. First Erwin was my fave character and then Sasha, and then Hange, and now it's Reiner so I'm nervous about the Finale. I cried so hard because this show doesn't just make good characters, this show makes phenomenal characters you get attached to and genuinely love. I'm still not over it ❤😢
