I'm a caregiver for a man who LOVES The Creature From the Black Lagoon. He has a collection of memorabilia. I'll have to share your video with him.
When I was a kid and watch "the creature " on chiller theater I cried for the creature and was so upset by the way he was treated.
Both of them are very good at what they're doing hopefully they will continue for a long time..both very professional and a joy to see and hear their stories..
The first Creature From The Black Lagoon was the best
Yes, Jessica gets a lot of Emmy awards for her acting she truly is a natural❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ loved her creature from the black lagoon dance ❤ ❤❤❤l
It must be unbearable to wear that mask with that sun beating down too.
You guys Rock, thank you for posting the videos 👍✌️😀
Just in case you weren't aware, Johny Weissmuller was well known for his role as Tarzan back in the 30 and 40s. Along with the Jungle Jim roles.
Life is good when watching Grimm LIFE
I wanted to add that I am glad Jessica finally got her much-deserved award lol
She has been long overdue that’s for sure. Happy Halloween 🎃

Congrats on the 2024 Rondo Michael and Jessica!!!!! You two earned it 👻🦇🕸
best podcast award, cool!
COOOOOOL!
YES, definitely a great honor for the 2024 Rhondo Hattan Award : Best Podcast.
Well Deserved Michael & Jessica!!
As a child in 1956, my family visited Coriganville and rode on a stagecoach and also met the Cisco Kid. There were all kinds of westerns sets and streets you could roam.
Another perfect day with the Grimms!
A perfectly Grimm and spooky day for sure
Indeed it's always perfect when you live the grimmlifecollective life❣️
Will the world ever stop overlooking you, Tampa Jay, Jacob the Carpetbagger, Adam the Woo, The Philly Captain, and Scott-on-Tape? Your videos are all that we need each day. All of you unintentionally film TV shows that are as entertaining as NCIS, Monk, Law and Order.
Ricou Browning passed away just last year at age 93. Johnny Weismuller was an Olympic swimmer. He starred as Tarzan in many movies in the 1930's and 40's. Thanks for another fun ride Michael and Jessica! Oh, and Jessica, love the way your hair coordinates with the mask!
How is it that Jessica still looks fantastic even when wearing the creature mask? Very perplexing...
Yay!, a new Grimmlife video always makes my day. 💚🖤🤗🎃
Hope you enjoy the adventure Ava
I camped there in the 70s with the boy scouts 😂. We used to roll bowling balls down that wash (it was clear then). Some sets were there too. Epic walk through as always you two!!
Love the Universal monsters!
Julia Adams was great in the movie .Had the great opportunity to meet her and have her sign a poster but Ricco I still need.Excellent classic .This was my personal favorite monster of all time because I found it fascinating the suit Ricco had to wear .Great creature concept.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. And yeah…we love love love the creature. We do have a picture signed by Julie Adams…we should have brought it as well.
YES! I was taken here for my birthday a few years ago. Amazing what you recognize from old movies you grew up with. These days I prefer Weissmuller's "Jungle Jim" to his "Tarzan". Thanks as always.
Yessss! More Grimm!! 🎃 🎃 🎃
Enjoy the adventure.
I love your videos Michael and Jessica ... great video guys ❤ Mary watching from Arkansas 👻👻... Happy Halloween 👻👻
Stuntman Ray Corrigan owned the property during the old B western days. Great vid!
Great video, remember watching this as a youngster and purchasing the 3D glasses as it was televised on basic tv. I also recall at the end him waving goodbye as he swam away 😂. Classic film nonetheless. Thanks for sharing guys. So much fun hanging out with you.
OOOOOHH YESSSSS! oh I love this, watching this right now! 👻🦇💚
Enjoy
This is awesome, that not only do you keep the legend of these types of movies alive, but your videos are educational to the new generations who didn't know bout the topics until grim life explained in details both verbally and visually . Bravo
johnny wisemuller loved him as tarzan. hello guys from scotland
Its always a great day when the grimmlife uploads!!! I love your videos so much!! 🖤👻
The creature dance Jessica was doing made my day:)
Thank you, Michael and Jessica for another cool video with a retrospective look back into the film of The Creature From The Black Lagoon. I have watched this movie many times over the years. It never gets old. The Gill Man as the creature was also known, was a brilliant concept in movie magic in my opinion. :)
1 of my favorites as well, I refused to go to the lake as a kid, I kept thinking he was gonna pop out of the water, I was 9 yrs old back in the 70's
Ricou Browning under water. Ben Chapman on land !😊
I’m always ready for the spookiness of it all. Baby Ghoul is so amazing with that mask on. Thanks for another great filming location. Y’all are seriously the best.
This was sooo cool! I remember your video you did in Florida and was amazed by that as well! But so cool seeing like the perspective of the cameraman for the underwater shots! Too bad you couldn’t get all the way in there! But the overall area looks like such a cool hiking or hexercizing place! So big and beautiful! Highlight of the adventure has to be baby ghoul accepting her award dressed as Creature! She deserves every award as well as you do Michael! Thank you for this amazing adventure again! I shall go to bed happy that I got my Grimm fix for the evening! Such a perfect way to end any day, or week, or month or year or afterlife hahaha 👻💚🦇love you both!
Thank you Kylee.
@@grimmlifecollective always 👻🦇
👻time to go swimming.
Love the vids no matter what it is I click can’t get enough of grimmlife
Congratulations!
Awesome, the only Universal Monster that has never been re-made 👍
Thank you for doing Creature from the BL- one of my favorite movies EVER. I think I first saw it on late night TV in 1972 😊✌
My all-time favorite bw Movie. I grew up watching these movies with my Grandmother. She is the one who got me into horror movies.
One of favorites as well when i was a kid thanks for another great video
I LOVE a "Deep Dive" into the Creach!.... Old Hollywood Horror is the groovy BomB, and your CFBL art is SO nice ---- Hope you do a "What you have in Your Collection", soon... That would make a great episode, or episodes (you could do a breakdown into several episodes)... Thanks, for taking us all along, and much love... Happy Halloween...... :^)"""""""""""""
Holy shit, I marvel at how the two of you can continue doing things like this. Amazing!
It’s an obsession…seeking out deep dive hidden things and places. I’m glad you like the video.
Another awesome video from the grimme life
That Park is a very cool place to visit especially to visit all the Movie Plaques around the grounds. I think there are 13, the pond is way awesome to sit back and imagine when and how and you have to stroll through Sherwood Forest and imagine Erol Flynn jumping from a tree as Robin Hood. Thank the both of you for exploring that part of Movie Magic.
Love yalls videos I've been waiting all moring for it to be public
🐠 This creature feature had me swimming with delight!
Really happy you liked it. It felt like we were finding a diamond in a mine
Awesome video, congratulations on your award
best youtube channel ever, I've been watching since before Jessica, and I must say the magic between you two makes it even more special, thank you both
Johnny Weissmuller was Tarzan!
I really do love you two ❤ from 🇬🇧
Wow awesome film location and I actually remember I saw the film for the first time last year and loved it so this is cool Grimms love it 😊❤
It’s about time Jessica wins her award much deserved🌹congrats on the Rondo award, you guys are awesome
12:15 WEEEY 🏆, finally! Very much deserved, Baby Ghoul. 👏❤️
I remember going to Silver Springs Florida and touring it, and seeing the filming spots for this movie, along with Tarzan filming locations. Fun mention, you should check out Bruce Mozert’s photos….He spent years taking some amazing photos at Silver Springs. Absolutely beautiful.
Never grim when the grimms are about happy halloween 🎃 guys always a pleasure
Now Mike you're selling yourself short Jessica won an award for best acting but you Sir win the award for best cameraman and commentary on TH-cam 🏆
These and the other close by mountain's, ( as you well know) is filled with history of Hollywood and grizley crimes. I visited this small park a few years ago, but you guys have shown me so many more little bits and pieces of that history. Love you guys.
Amazing video 📹!!! The Grimms Rock 🪨 🎸!!!
That movie really scared me as a child.
Great video Michael! So much film history in that one area alone! Creature from the Black lagoon has always been one of my favorite classic horror movies! And yes I did see Billy the kid versus Dracula some years ago... Cheesy but I love it!
Huge fan of Universal Monsters and Creature from the Black Lagoon is a favorite, as well. Great video!
Love this episode on one of my all time favorite classic horror movies! Thank you so much! Jessica's creature dance had me chuckling.
I live just over the hills in Chatsworth, I took my kids on a hike over there a number of years ago, fun movie history!
The end awh!!!!! Well I love you both! Haha have a great week
Awesome video guys thank you Happy Halloween 👻
Ive never even heard of Billy the Kid versus Dracula will be looking this one up cool
It’s a…doozy. Enjoy.
It looks pretty doping awesome to me! I love a good paranormal western movie every now and then!
Loving those pics. One of my favorite movies. Hold tight to those pics. Beautiful place. The African Queen is a classic as well. 🖤 Congrats again, you work hard and you get recognized.
i'm watching as many movies from 90s 80s 70s 60s 50s 40s 30s as i can a week
My favorite all-time monster, Universal Studios, or otherwise. The first video I ever watched of you guys was when you bought the Creature from the Black Lagoon beach towel. I went right out and bought one. They are beautiful and added it to my Creature collection. Keep up the great entertainment. And congrats on the award. Thanks a Grimmillion!
This landscape is so familiar though, it is reminiscent of many American series.
It feels like Mary Ingalls' little house on the prarie is next to it.
Luckily they didn't swim in the black lagoon!
Greatly told, beautifully filmed. I thought the video, among other things, of the 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' was great. And now Formicula/Them!, Tarantula can't be far away... Greetings from Germany
Good morning from Gatlinburg TN Smoky Mountains Park 🏞️🌄..I'll be watching tonight ☠️⚰️
How cool is this!! Talk about bring back memories! I remember seeing this movie in the drive in!! My parents liked scrary movies and would take me and my siblings to see them. Thinking back they had to have seen Bates Motel, (not sure if I’m correct on the name of the movie 😵💫) but when they took us kids, there are 4 of us, Mom pushed us down behind the back seat and ordered us not to watch the part where she gets killed in the shower!! But… we did peek!! I was pretty much afraid to take showers for a very long time unless someone was in the bathroom with me! 🤣🤣 and this movie….when your 7 or younger, who’s to say that Hollywood didn’t actually capture this monster and make a movie??!!! I kind of miss the innocence of childhood…..❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Michael & Jessica, brilliant as usual❤
Your channel literally changed my life!. I didn’t think anyone out there liked the same things as me and when I found your channel it felt like finding home. Thank you!. and Happy Halloween 👻🎃💀🪦
I have been a fan and been watching for a few years and never mentioned how much I love the intro music, it's perfect! love you guys!
Jungle Jim was a TV series starring Weismuller back in 1955-1956. Interesting, never heard of it either.
Wow cool spot location amazing how different classical films where made that at spot location it's a pretty unique spot
I have always loved the old Classical Monster Movies! Thank you both very much! I am so happy that you both won an award! We Love you both!
Ricou Browning and Julie Adams signed my CFTBL movie poster. It’s hanging proudly on my wall.
Really enjoy your videos! Also want to skateboard in that concrete ditch (empty of water of course). Congrats to Jessica on her well-deserved reward! (I always laugh when she does her little run and uses her thumbs when she shoots a pretend gun).
Also shot in Simi Valley was part of the movie 'Fort Apache'. I heard that the area is great for horseback riding. Looks very cool.
Great video as always, love you guys. x
one of the best channels on youtube always worth watching
Another reason to keep watching ❤ thanks
What's up Michael and Jessica! Love your videos and channel. Congratulations on winning the best podcast award. You guys deserve it. You guys are one of my favorite TH-camrs. You guys are awesome.
Congratulations on the Podcast Award!!! Congratulations to you too Jessica!!! I love watching your videos!!!
Great vid, i love the universal monsters too and those are some amazing pictures you got in your collection
Thank you GLC, another excellent and informative video.
The shot of you two on the bench at the end of the video was beautiful
You know that is the only Universal creature feature monster I've never seen except when it was in other films like Monster Squad who had all of the universal monsters. Billy the Kid vs Dracula that's great. What do you mean Hollywood fakes things. Omg my life is a lie😂That's an awesome collection you guys have and trophy 🏆 as always for Jessicas remarkable acting. Definitely love some lost Hollywood filming locations. Another great video. Safe travels as always and can't wait to see what yall got next 💜💜💙💚.
So great! Thank you both for sharing these wonderful insights!
As always, leave it to you two to show us things nobody else does! Thank you!
How cool! I lived in Simi valley as a kid and didn't even know about this place!
They have filmed so much there. Most recently The Mandalorian season 2
Love you both! Awesome content!
Thanx guys for doing one of my FAVORITES ! Watched this video twice .
Johnny Wisemuller was my moms swimming catch back in the dirty 30’s
Keep the cheesiness coming! Great location! Wow!
Brilliant. Just Brilliant and fun. Looks like it's time to watch a classic 😊
