I just love your family! My dad has stage 4 cancer, mother severe scoliosis and my husband’s dad advanced Parkinson’s w/ dementia and his mom advanced dementia, so stress is beyond normal at this time. I get a mental vacation watching your videos and virtually travel with you all lol. I get to curl up and watch your videos (sometimes lately over and over lol) and really look forward to them. You have definitely helped me with my depression and for that I am grateful. Thank you❤️. Keep posting and I’ll always be watching.
Your family is so lucky to have someone like you. Definitely make time for yourself, though. Get in touch with caregiver support groups. They might offer counselling and even another caregiver to help out for a couple of hours so you can get some time off.
@@anneo3754 my husband and his brother just placed his parents in an assisted living facility that specializes in dementia and Parkinson’s. This takes a lot of the worry away. As for my parents, mentally both are good, bodies are failing and my brother lives closer to them than we do.
Hey Sam, You need to take your family to a Friday night high school football game asap.. I'm sure the whole family will enjoy it.. it's also very affordable and it's as American as it gets..
If you do a HIgh School football game you almost have to do it in Texas! Man, they do HIgh School games that rival NFL spirit!! (But come to the east coast...I have a hookup for Philadelphia Eagles tickets!)
Man, what a blessing to not only be able to travel with your family but to do cool things like this and have it all on video on top of that. Your kids are the perfect ages for this kind of stuff too. We traveled a lot as kids(my parents were going to be missionaries then my dad became a pastor in Kansas). We got to go to Magic Kingdom around that age and I think Universal would have been better suited to that age
We took many trips to Universal when I was a kid. Back then, it was more of a working movie studio than theme park. The highlights were seeing the actual movies sets and the tram ride. My mom and I took a trip there about 2009 to relive our past. She was in her 80s and I had to convince her to let me rent a wheelchair for her. It was a great day and I remember seeing the Waterworld show. She passed in 2012 and I haven’t been back since. Thanks for the video. I clearly remember being about Denzel’s age when the “new” JAWS element was added to the tram tour (around 1975). The flash flood was one of the first effect elements dating back to the 1960s.
This video makes me want to go to Universal Studios with my kids! We lived in Dunedin, New Zealand 18 years ago for 2 years. We loved New Zealand, and it's fun to see your family enjoying the United States!
You guys are living a real life dream. Happy for your family. I don't think foreign folk understand that most Americans don't even experience what y'all do. Appreciate it. Soak it in.
As always, worth the wait, Sam. I just wait that it wasn't so long. Keep in mind that you are visiting places that so many people from the US haven't and won't. So many people are living vicariously through your video. Not to mention the excitement from you and Denzel. Or the sunshine in the miles of Nadine and Atlanta. Thank you for showing the world that there are tightly bonded families out there. Holding my breath until the next installment. Hope you are all well.
Awesome stuff, it inspires me to take my family there one day and we're from Texas. Thank you for all the hard work you do to record this for you and all of us.
I went to school on the back lot of Universal Studios Orlando and I had full access to the park. I was in there almost every day, sometimes for lunch or sometimes just just walking around behind the scenes. My school hired 2 or the Waterworld stunt people to do motion capture for our final project.
Greetings from Michigan. It looks like you guys had a ton of fun. It was great to see the wonder and amazement in the eyes of your children and to hear the excitement in the whole family. Thank you for bringing us with you. 😁
I live about 10 mins from Universal, and I grew up with my mom taking my brother and I here so many times of the year, she’d save up all year long to always get us the year membership so we always had somewhere fun to go to. I love that your family is able to enjoy this now!! From watching your “Why not to mess with America” I love that you guys are finally here!!
Great video guys ! The look on Denz face of pure astonishment tells it all. It looked like you all enjoyed your trip. I live 2-1/2 to 3 hours away and I haven’t been there since the 80’s.
OMG I absolutely LOVED watching you guys enjoy Universal Studios! I am a theme park junkie and visit Disney and Universal as much as possible. Watching others have an amazing time is almost as fun as visiting the parks for me. Watching you guys tour America is just so heartwarming to watch. Hoping your next trip will bring you to the east coast because we have SO much to offer as well! (Washington DC alone is worth the trip to the east coast!) Can't wait for next week's adventure!!!
Oh, fun! I used to live about a half a mile from there. I could see the universal building from certain points on my street when I was walking my dog. 😊
Thank you for making this video and sharing it this was awesome and the Closest I will ever get to seeing this place or the rides. Your family is the best can't wait to see more of your Vacation videos to the US. Your vacation is kinda like mine to. Thanks again.
YES! Apparently you've figured out your TH-cam billing snafu and are going strong. No doubt that you have a lot of content to let loose now and I loved this episode. I haven't been to Universal Studios since the late 90's. A lot has changed apparently. I'm so happy that you all had a good time. Family.
IT IS SO FUN SEEING YOU ENJOY THE ATTRACTIONS IN THE U.S, IF YOU HAVE ANY TIME U SHOULD GO TO SAN JOSE AND SEE THE WINCHESTER MYSTERY HOUSE, IT IS A TRIP.

So glad and happy that this has become a possibility for y'all you deserve it I never was able to do this as a kid as my parents were to poor to do stuff like this so I applauded you for doing it with your kids something they will always remember have fun!!!

I've lived in the Tampa Bay area for the last 40 years so I've gotten to experience most, if not all, of the entertainment here and I think y'all might might want to consider for future adventures. Again, great video. It's great to get to see smiling faces enjoying life. Enjoy and be safe ! :)
I want to thank you for doing things like this. I'm not able to travel or eat like that (I have Celiac Disease), so watching your videos makes me feel better ❤
So great that this a family thing. It reminds me of travelling with mine when I was your kids ages. Lifetime memories! One of the coolest things you can do for your children. 🇺🇸
Ive been to universal many times, but seeing you guys enjoying it made me enjoy it even more!! Glad you guys loved it! Much love from Los Angeles California!!
BOY THE TOUR SURE HAS CHANGED!!!!!!!! My father and I visited Southern California relatives in the 1970ies and I, being in the Radio/Television business wanted to tour a studio so we went to Universal Studios. Back then all you did was ride around the lot and standing sets in a covered tram while the guide pointed out where various movies had been filmed. There was a "European Town" set. We drove past the The Psycho House and was "attacked" by a shark at the Jaws Harbor set. What I found very interesting was a couple of airplanes sitting next to a set. There were a few "Attractions" though, one was the parting of the Red Sea feature where the tram pulled up to a lake and the waters parted and the tram drove through. Then a couple of actors came to the tram for a few moments, on our day it was Parker Stevenson and Shaun Cassidy that were staring in the TV show filming on the lot, The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries. Then there was a demonstration of make up where two audience members were chosen to be made up as Frankenstein and his Bride. They chose a newly wed couple and when the woman saw her husband as Frankenstein she started crying.
Ahh love those opening edits with the music so, so much. So good. Glad Denz could enjoy the dark rides. Yeah, there was definitely a drop on the Jurassic Park one, but there's also some cool sights and sounds and animatronics before it comes. Loving this series! Ya'll got to see quite a bit over here so far, and that's awesome.

That Behind the Scenes ride is definitely WAY better than the 1989 version I was on! Jaws was almost the same though! Still scared the crap outta me! King Kong was amazing! I saw them filming of Back to the Future 2 filming location and Jaws 3 and the Golden Girls house. I loved every minute of it!
Loving the series!! So glad everyone enjoyed what I call my backyard growing up in southern california. I usually now just go to universal to hang out in hogsmeade, the harry potter part of the park. I always go dressed up as a hogwarts student and have had tourist ask to take a picture with me. It is great fun! Hopefully next time you can enjoy the wonderful wizarding world that I call my second home. Can't wait to continue this series!!
Thank you muchly for not only taking us along, but for the great quality of your video! Sadly, I will never get there in person, but traveling with you all is the next best experience. You all rock! 😊
I must say that the absolute worst part of your videos is when they END! I love this family!
Truly lol. I hate watching family channels but I LOVE Theirs! 😂😂

Hey… I know those guys!! It was great meeting you all. So happy I was able to help make your day even a tiny bit easier.

Oh good idea. That would be fun.

Amazing quality video Sam! You've stepped up your game so much. I've been a subscriber for years. You've come so far!
