I adore Chucky. All the movies. Brad Dourif is a brilliant actor and the fact that he stuck with the killer doll all these years is awesome. Loving the T.V. show too and Tiff should probably be worshiped as a goddess.
Why has no one made a Chucky doll with a fake battery cover hiding the real ones like with the movie prop , that would blow your mind as a kid and still be cool as a prop remake.
Child’s Play has always been one of my all-time favorite horror movies, so getting to see all these filming locations in such high quality was a real treat. Thanks for consistently putting out great content like this! 🤘
To think Chucky was the scariest doll when we were kids,I think this video deserves a ton of likes just like the rest of your channel. It's always amazing to see the places a great movie was made.
@vinnygognitti8858 I scrolled down & noticed she thanked you, but honestly I found ur comment overly creepy. Maybe that's just my age talking & if ur being sincere then good on u, but u can give a lady a nice compliment without laying it on so thick lol
This is awesome, man. I remember watching all of the child's play movies back in the 90s. The movies and tv shows from the 80s and 90s were the best of all time
I lived near this area in the 1990s and there were movies being made constantly in the area. I remember The Hudsucker Proxy with Paul Newman and Jennifer Jason Leigh being filmed about a block from my apartment.
I worked at my local Target for 9 years and if only my store looked like that lol too bad they couldn’t carry on the cathedral like architecture on the inside! Crazy to see these scenes and what is still standing omg
Did I hear him right that it's 30 for like only a half an hr?? I haven't had to park in city in many years & I recall in my nearby city it was like 10 for an hr. That's nuts it's gotten that high. I'm assuming that's why everyone either walks or finds other transport nowadays. Wonder if that's a Chicago thing or other major cities now too?
Great film Childs Play, it scared me even at 13. Some lovely old buildings they filmed in. Thanks again Michael & Jessica for another awesome vid. Happy Halloween 🎃🎃🎃
Hell yeah!!! Even as a kid I knew all the filming locations and loved going to see them. Glad you guys covered this morning. Hope you guys enjoyed Chicago. Please come back and do more. Chicago has an awesome history.
Saw Child's Play in the theater with my friend when we were 10 years old, was so scared couldn't sleep all night! I credit it as the reason I love horror movies now! It's my favorite genre, I watch it to relax! Didn't even know it was filmed in Chicago where I live! 😊
The fact that it started snowing and it also snowed in the movie just goes to show y’all picked the perfect day to see those filming locations. I love the movies and the series. You two are so lucky you got to see where it all started.
This was one of my absolute favourites from you both 💚🤩 I’m a huge Child’s play/ Chucky fan and I really appreciated all the scene line ups and the time it must take to do them 👌🏻🙏🏻 love you guys Xx
I watched this movie as a child when it first came out. I'm 41 now and still watch all the Chucky movies. BTW, Awesome channel and you two do such an amazing job in your videos. 😊
Thank you so much for this, guys. Watching it with my 'to scale' Trick Or Treat Chucky replica 😅. I adore this film. As a kid I had it 'recorded from TV' on a four-hour VHS tape - along with Labyrinth. What a double-bill that was.
Hi Michael and Jessica! I am watching your video right now. Chucky is one of my favorite scary movie characters. Thank you for posting this video. You guys are awesome. Love your videos and channel.

This was a very fun video. Loved Chucky movies. My mom recently passed away before we can book our trip to Chicago. 😢 It was nice to see some of the sites during your locations for the movie.

Can't wait to meet you both in Sheffields horror con, it's only 140 mins drive from Middlesbrough where Im from so got my tickets for the Sunday 12th may
This has always been one of my favorite movies. That scene when Karen sees Chucky doesn’t have any batteries was terrifying as a kid.
and that nasty bum that sold her the doll trying to force himself on her until Norris comes and saves her.
right😳
I adore Chucky. All the movies. Brad Dourif is a brilliant actor and the fact that he stuck with the killer doll all these years is awesome. Loving the T.V. show too and Tiff should probably be worshiped as a goddess.
I’m a Jason Vorhees fanboy, but here in Ecuador, Chucky absolutely rules! They practically worship him! Great video!!
Why has no one made a Chucky doll with a fake battery cover hiding the real ones like with the movie prop , that would blow your mind as a kid and still be cool as a prop remake.
I am obsessed with your comment that idea is pure GOLD
🙂👍

Love that movie horror movies here these days don’t really scare you like they did back then
It sure scared you as a kid, now we are all grown up, it's funny now.
This movie scared the crap out of me as a teenager, thanks for sharing!
U mean kid. Chuck
There is a scene where Chucky is crawling around the outside of a building. That building is located at the southeast corner of Cook County Jail.
To think Chucky was the scariest doll when we were kids,I think this video deserves a ton of likes just like the rest of your channel. It's always amazing to see the places a great movie was made.

This is awesome, man. I remember watching all of the child's play movies back in the 90s. The movies and tv shows from the 80s and 90s were the best of all time
Chucky and Candyman are two horror classics that were filmed in Chicago.
I lived near this area in the 1990s and there were movies being made constantly in the area. I remember The Hudsucker Proxy with Paul Newman and Jennifer Jason Leigh being filmed about a block from my apartment.
Candyman is amazing
@@debbiemoore2747 was shi@ all horror movies are shi# there all the same 🤣🤣
Candyman was just exterior filming. They didn't actually film it in Cabrini.
One of the scripts for a sequels to Halloween was going to be here in Chicago as well, but that one never happened
I worked at my local Target for 9 years and if only my store looked like that lol too bad they couldn’t carry on the cathedral like architecture on the inside! Crazy to see these scenes and what is still standing omg
This building housed Carson, Pirie, Scott and Company. You can see the original signage in the movie. It was on par with a Macy's, high end retail.
first movie (as a 3 year old in 1988) to scare me , i used to think chucky was hiding in my kitchen lmao 😂 love chucky ♥♥
I was 4...I don't know how ubqas allowed to watch horror movies back as a kid but I at least didn't have nightmares from them.
Poor Chris Sarandon got phenomena when he was doing one scene with the car being upside down
Chris Sarandon is one of my favourite Vampires
30 bucks an hour for parking is crazy should’ve took an Uber

The lady who played Andy's mom is the lady who played the mom from the hit TV show 7th Heaven
No way!! I never knew that!
she also played Marilyn Monroe in a biopic in the 80s, before Childs Play / Marilyn: The Untold Story (TV Movie 1980)
It's tragic that the iconic Carson Pirie Scott building has been turned into a Target.
