I remember the cops in Northern Ireland stopping me once because I looked suspicious. I wouldn't give them my name and told them to arrest me if they believe I did something wrong. I told them I was looking for my sister's cat. That it was called Elf and that its breed was a long haired Elf cat. Mobile phones were not about back then. And I knew these dumb cops in my town wouldn't know a cat from a post box. Because Elf cats are bald like sphynx cats. They left me be and I saw them later that night, and they said they seen a few cats that may be my sister's. What bloody idiots.

The homeowner rang back 5 minutes later & told the police they didn’t need to rush because they had shot the home intruders! Next thing 3 cops cars arrived & caught the burglars in the act, cops got pissed at the home owners saying I thought you said you shot them.
