make sure u have more than 5 photos. It finally worked for me. I think minimum is 5, so when ur under 5 photos it looks for other photos.

I just checked, my Google TV is on the latest update and I still have the ambient mode option.

I've seen comments elsewhere that the option to display Google Photos in ambient mode is not there if you turn on "Apps Only" mode for Chromecast with Google TV. Can you confirm?

I really like the ambient mode feature for a slide show of Google Photos but the most frustrating thing is that it times out and goes off after maybe 10 mins and there is no setting to make it run indefinitely. Bummer.

Don't worked, keep say 'you have no albums in this account' on Google Chromecase but I already have Google Photo album on my mobile

If it isnt working there is a start “start now” option under ambient mode in the settings. Click that and it will start showing your photos
