OK LEGIT I FIGURED OUT HOW TO DO THIS IN THE FIRST 20 SECONDS OF YOUR VIDEO!! I've been dinking around with trying to get a custom photo as my screensaver and it would only let me choose: disable screen saver, backdrop or colors. Literally didn't even know I could sink my gallery to my tv. AND NOW I HAVE MY OWN CUSTOM PHOTO AS MY SCREENSAVER!! Thank you!!

Yeah this is a wallpaper not a screensaver. Wrong Jargon. A screensaver moves to stop screen burn. A wallpaper is a background image of art.

I don't have "Device Preferences". I do have "Ambient Mode", which is the screensaver, but it doesn't have an option to select a 3rd party app to use. There is no way to use these apps on this tv, I've exhausted all options

Local? What TV has enough storage to hold a bunch of photos & videos? I’ve been using this app for years and use USB (which now says “deprecated”) and have a 2TB flash drive connected. But that app tries to copy all of the files from USB to local storage, until the TB runs out of space and becomes unusable. That usually takes about 3 or 5 days to fill my 8GB of TV memory. Does Samsung have anything like this? …cute girls! But anyway, to work around this issue just have less images on your USB than is available on your TV because it will keep copying them until the memory is full. Leave some free memory.
Hi, Thank You for the video, but I ran into a problem. The screensaver only displays 2 of my 45 photos. I have even tried uninstalling and resetting tv to see if that could work. All photo's are jpg.
