Great review… been on my list for awhile… just caught 1 of your videos this morning. Got yourself a subscriber. Question for ya … is that button box a Etsy version or is it the eplabs? How u like it ?
Thanks for the sub! The button box is from simracing4u.myonline.store it was sent to me to review so far I’m really liking it but will have more to share in an upcoming review video.
Great review and beautiful wheel overall, I'm currently on the market for a wheel, and i would've instantly get this if it had at least one 7 way funky switch, such a letdown
I don’t think having to remove your hand from the grip to operate the funky switch is that much of an issue. If you have a 7 way switch I don’t see how you can rotate it without gripping it between two fingers and that requires taking one hand off the grips. I’ve mapped most of the black box functions in iRacing to a stream deck so most times I just need to cycle between pages. Is there such an organisation as “Sim Racing Wheel Buyers Anonymous”? I may need to sign up.
Great review, it’s a wheel that I have been looking at for a while, just wish they could have done something to hide the exposed components for the dual clutches.
Thanks! Yes, I agree with you on the dual-clutch components. I meant actually to mention that in the review but forgot. It's my only issue with the design.
There's a guy who has directly compared the two and he preferred the V-RSPG Pro due the comfort of the grips. Apparently for him the Omega Pro was uncomfortable over any long stints because the grip stops too soon and his thumb rubs against the frame even with gloves.
Could you expound a little bit on the the buttons? I don’t quite understand how the illuminated buttons are different to the Porsche ones? Can you control their color like on the grid wheels?
No colour can’t be controlled on this version I have they are just white but there is a customizable color option when you purchase the wheel for 25 pounds extra.
@@andresinger7022 In my opinion, the VPG has some standout features. The grips on the VPG are definitely comfier, although comfort can be a personal thing. Plus, the buttons and labels on the VPG give it a more premium vibe, which is a nice touch. Both wheels have great paddle shifters, with the LMPH feeling a tad snappier, but it's a close call. Another thing I liked about the VPG is the placement of the middle thumb encoders; they're easier to use. And yes that 5" screen on the LMPH is a real improvement. My only gripe with the VPG was wishing for a bigger screen; that would have sealed the deal. Honestly, you can't really go wrong with either wheel-they both perform well and have their strengths. But personally, I found the VPG more comfortable and enjoyable to drive with. If it were my money, I'd lean toward the VPG. Hope this helps you make a choice!
your videos are getting better and better keep up the good work, you getting the new VPG Porsche cup car wheel that come out this month
Thank you! 🙏 No plans to review the VPG PGT at this time. Unless VPG wants to send me one to check out 😁

@@simracingden excellent I will wait for the review. Keep up the great work cheers

Thanks! 👍 Yea a 7-way would have been perfect.
I love mine! Not having tried the Grid, im glad to hear that it can compete with a wheel with double the price. VPG is king!
Good to hear!
The funky switch placement and size is a dealbreaker for me. I would prefer to pay a tiny bit more and get the GSI Hyper p1. Great review though.
I hear you I wish it was a tad bit bigger too. Thanks for watching.

I also need to sign up perhaps you and I should start such an organization 😂
@@simracingden 😂 I'll get on to it once I've finished researching my next sim racing wheel purchase...oops

is it okay to buy the non pro version? not sure if im missing out.
I don't believe there is a non pro version this replaced a previous model. Never tested the original one
This or the OmegaPro. Thats where I struggle.
Big price difference between those isn’t there?
@@simracingden almost identical. 1 dollar different when landed.

So it makes it a fixed color with a single led right ? @@yeah_okido
Great review! Any plans to review the PSE LM-X?
No plans right now, but I'll reach out to PSE too see if they want to provide a review unit.
the first ones did it and i would like to know the differences
Love the review. Gun to your head GSI hyper P1 or this bad boy?
Hyper P1 is on its way so after I try it I can answer this question.
@@simracingden Awsome
@@simracingden Thanks for the respinse cant wait for it!!
VPG Sim....... the best of the best
@@Nineteenfivepointfive really !? You're the first one with that kind of experience I ready, did you contact them ?
Which is the better steering wheel the VPG or the Poko LMPH?
VPG
@@simracingdenThank you very much, for what reasons? What speaks for and what against? I'm still hesitant, I like the 5 inch screen 😅
