      It helps tremendously.
      Know I have a question. Would an x pipe hurt or benefit my scat pack and can you elaborate on that please. Here a run down of what I have: kooks long tube header cattle’s mid pipes. And no mufflers or resonators I’m straight pipe. he’ll cat intake tuned WITH HP TUNER.
      Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon.

    Ted is the man! Internal timer, butt dyno, and real dyno? Not to lose sight of the 20/20 gain, that's tremendous. The ET gains were better than I thought too, I was thinking about a. 25 - .35 ET drop, but .40. 👍🤘👌🇺🇸

    FYI: Jannety's Dyno is made by Superflo and is state of the art for generating real world WHP numbers. Anyone who operates a dyno can easily change the settings (for example the "smoothing factor" ) and get fantasy land results. This Scat Pack might run in the 470's or higher with just a click of the mouse. Ted's as honest as the day is long.

    You have a very similar Challenger to what I'm looking to order in 23. Granite W/B manual Scat. I want the bee stripes on the rear, though. I won't do anything to it except the Hellcat Lower airbox with light inlet and exhaust until the warranty runs out. I like the Shakers, but they really seem to be a whiz-bang cosmetic performance hit that you pay for. I thought about the T/As but they lose the heat extraction vents. Everything I've seen indicates that hellcat intake with the standard heat extraction venting hood will give the best performance. Aftermarket CAIs don't seem to perform any better than the HC intake.

Going back this year for the larger Catted mids, an OEM Hellcat cat back, with the Active Exhaust Welded open, Stall Speed converter, QTP Electric Exhaust cutouts, 1 piece drive shaft and differential brace. • @pmac5386
      @pmac5386 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ok good question-most of these mods to shown to date put minimal stress on the internals. Although a bad tune could do some serious damage. Hey they're machines and things happen. This scat pack had a faulty PCV connection/valve with 600 miles on it and blew smoke like a diesel locomotive. Forced air should not exceed the limitations of the low end (tread carefully) and NOS is a big no no!! It's for hardcore professionals and they blow engines all the time.

    • @RTLife
      @RTLife  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you keep it n/a you'll be just fine. Blowers/Nos add a bit of stress onto the engine. Headers, exhaust, intake just optimize the air going into out of the engine. Tuning will make sure the air/fuel ratio is on point so you're not running rich/lean & potentially hurting any parts.
