1iconicb made 419 whp in stock trim at mass acceleration motorsports. I’ve heard so many people say Longtubes are not worth it but I can say once mass installed mine and tuned it, it made over a half a second difference in the quarter mile! And I’m a heavy 4-door SP too! 👍🏼🏁

A cam package with the stock exhaust would have got you more bang for the buck.
It’s illegal for the dealer to void your warranty for aftermarket parts. Only if that part goes bad then they won’t cover it.

You put a tune on it also. With the headers so you gained power from the tune. So basically the long tube headers were say 15 HP and tune another 15 hp. The factory shorty headers on the 6.4 are actually pretty good from factory. So I wouldn’t spend $2000 dollars on long tubes. I would just get the tune

Nice gain but you don’t need kooks on a scat! I did a full build on my 1320 for around $6,000. MMX ported intake, MMX ported throttle body, JBA Ceramic coated long tubes, Cam Motion Titan 2 cam, Johnson lifters, Texas Speed CNC ported heads, protorque 3,000 stall. Car runs 11.2@121 in 2800 DA on 93. Now on E85 but no good pass because can’t hook. JBA 1 7/8 Ceramic coated headers cost me $699

You forgot to add dyno numbers can change drastically depending on where you live those cars that you seen do 300hp find out where there from I bet it’s somewhere hot in higher elevation and the higher end they were some where much cooler and with lower elevation. The higher the elevation the less oxygen it’s harder to breathe which means your car is working harder versus lower elevation is the exact opposite sane with weather hotter temperatures make the engine hot cooler temperatures are great for V8s

Great video player! I like the idea of long tube headers and hi-flow cats on my 6.1L 300 SRT8. I just don't like the cost associated with it hahaha🤑🤭😅. If I can do it for $1,500 then I'd be more inclined to entertain it😝.

I want to do this to my 2012 SRT8, I have a few questions. You said install and tune was $1000, will the same shop that install these tune them? or do you need to have it towed to a tuner? Also are there any brands that would recommend besides kooks that are a bit cheaper? I dont want cheap Chinese garbage but $2000 is a lot to spend for a 2012. Also do you think the exhaust would benefit from a highflow cat with the long tubes?
@@alecflynn8316 the headers are 2,000 now from kooks and install may be higher now honestly but no they do everything in house so no towing is needed

People go and put cat backs and it don’t help your car breathe because of the stock headers. So I agree with the is being the first thing anyone should do.

downpipes arent the same as longtubes. all a down pipes are is basically a catless mid pipe. and they are called down pipes because that's what u call them on a car that has a turbo.

I have a 2021 392 scat pack can I add long tube headers without a tune or anything and will they mess up my trans cause I’ve heard tuning and headers fucks up a 6.4l
if you get longtubes ALWAYS do a tune or you could run pretty "lean" or "rich" as some might say and could ruin the longevity of your car
throw a hellcat tb and injectors on there and put it on the dyno 😉
