There is nothing better than a Greg Ovens Video. I wish he makes more videos again just walking trough the forrest...just looking and dreaming about the forrest
Greg, don't worry about anything. The vids you've done so far are amazing. Doesn't matter what content you have. We're here for the long haul. Looking forward for the next one. Keep it coming. Never enough Ovens Rocky Mountain Bushcraft.
Great video Greg, Jeremy and family. The joy is really in spending time with each other (Finn too) and the beauty of the day. Even though you were stranded Greg, you were where you needed to be. It was thoughtful to share with the people around you. I can imagine Jeremy's little lad will remember this fun family day of 'catch and share'. Loved the scenery. Blessings from Ontario.
My friends say I've lost my mind, but you are living my dream. I'm heading south soon. I need those mountains and rivers, that peace and solitude and I will have it. Thanks for the videos too, the scenery is amazing! With all due respect, Mr. T.C. Cross Detroit, Michigan USA
Greg, i found your channel recently, and want to say you have had such a profound positive impact on my outlook. Im 24, and have spent most of my adult life struggling with homelessness. This begat a deep love, and need, for bushcraft knowledge. Lately, life has been particularly horrible, and you have been the single thing that continues to keep me locked in. Thank you, Greg. For being woodsman everyone needs ❤
I love watching this video, not just because my son Jeremy Does Things and his family are on it, but you have great patience and a really good sense of humour Greg. Keep up the very entertaining videos and outdoor life. Well done. Even if you got jinxed so many times.
If I somehow ever get lost in your neck of the woods, I am sure I will live through it thanks to your video's. I thought I knew something, but now I know so much more.
Hello, what a fantastic video! So many adventures. Love all the scenery and all the animals you got on the video.Even if you don't get anything what a beautiful place to be. Just amazing scenery. Thanks to all of you for the video and looking forward to your next one. Have a wonderful day!
Oh my goodness greg, this is one of your toughest videos ever but it's so wonderful of a video and really good video you have a lot of good footage that was very fun seeing you go out with your friend and his family but man you really showed us how it goes when it goes badly LOL but it still was a great fun video to watch I love all your videos I wish you would have shown us how the fish turned out I'm sorry you didn't get a deer and I am sorry you lost your drone into the ocean. But I can't wait to see more from you because your videos are just always awesome to watch and the way you talk is just wonderful and soothing and very nice to see and hear I hope your truck gets fixed soon and I can't wait to see more from you.
For anybody wondering the reason why that guy had his rod so high in the air. Is he's keeping his main line off? The water most likely there is faster water which was pulling his main line and causing his drift to be a skewed.
Love watching Greg's videos, have been for a good yea for two. Watching from scotland so it's good to see what greg, zach and the wooded beards man doing all sorts of different cool things that I can't really do here!
I'm in Georgia. We haven't had electricity or water after the storm, but these videos have helped us through everything! Thank You Greg Ovens ❤!! Of course the grace of God is first, but these videos are both informative and funny ❤️ God bless you!
I had a dear sneak up behind me at a friend's house. I was sitting at a table praying. It made a snort noise and I jumped it jumped up in the air and took off along with 7 others. Awesome. Just would have been better if it hadn't been behind me
OOh. I wish to be among those people, enjoying this delicious fish. But seeing this video was also a pleasure, so i keep going that for me. Lookin forward for new videos as an admirer of your art.
Good to see you back on the island Greg and I won't call it my island because you got kind of offended last time it said it was God's island so we'll just call it good to see you back on God's island best place to live in British Columbia well I kind of like the Rockies too but anyway good video As always keep up the good work take care and be safe😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Greg you probably won't ever see this, but this video had kind of a therapeutic message in it that spoke to me and the current spot I'm in. About making the best of it. Something I needed to hear. Thank You Greg. ✌🏼
Wow, horsing that chinook... nice fish. Bigger net and better technique puts that fish in the box! Perfect example of why so many kings are lost right at the boat...
greg greg greg i was so looking forward to the bow hunting, oh well a salmon will have to do 😊. simon uk ps im not happy with youtube as it didnt notify me about this video,
Gotta love a nice salmon. Glad you got one! I won't be able to make my annual salmon trip this year due to school, but i enjoyed watching your experience
Great video Greg 👍👍. I had to sell my compound bow in 🇨🇦, as I wasn't allowed to bring it to England 😢. Surprised you didn't fix the landing net, with so of your awesome bushcraft skills 👍. Fantastic that you got to do a cook up with that, free salmon 😀.
You should. Not hook the hook in the eye of the rod. If you do not have a bait saver, it should go behind the eye. The reason is the Barb pit's a scratch in your eye and then your line gets little tiny knicks in. I need next at it when you cast it.
Hey Greg! Funny true story. A friend of mine has a bow shop and indoor and outdoor ranges here in Michigan. At the time he had a rather high poundage articulated compound bow.. I believe his arrows left the rest at around 110# if I remember right. He drew back from his stand on a rather large buck. As he let off the buck spooked jumped and spun... well...he hit it in the back side (how do I say this politely ?) Right up the alimentary canal... the arrow cleared the pelvic girdle and went straight through the heart and lungs and protruded halfway out of the chest. It dropped like a hot rock... Talk about a lucky shot!.. now he's not a big one for trophy's and mounts ....but in this case he caped the buck and saved the rear quarter hide. He had 2 mounts made...one head and shoulder mount with the arrow poking out the chest... and a rear end mount with an arrow sticky out the starfish....lol.....that mount was always a source of laughter
I love Greg so much. It would be nice to see him get out of the choke hold fowler has on him. Hope jermey takes over his editing and keeping more of Greg's money in his pocket
I thought this a long time ago, he's used Greg's kindness for profit and just the way he ignores Greg to get product sold.. did annoy me to drift from watching them together in video's.. I prefer Greg being Greg enjoying the world..
Hey Greg. I love your videos, very entertaining, informative, and inspiring. Thank you for what you do. What camera are you using as your main squeeze?
@ovensrockymountainbushcraft Greg, how about doing a BUSHCRAFT CHRISTMAS DINNER CHALLENGE???? A wildfoods interpretation of Christmas dinner. I’m thinking maybe a nice duck and a leg of elk or something? I’m hoping to move to Calgary, next year, from the UK. Love your channel!
