Greg's pup's full name is; 'Findlay'...and named after; 'Findlay Creek'...an area in the East Kootenay region here in British Columbia where Greg has spent much of his life in our Province.

Oh man! The respect I have for this man grows with every episode. The fact that he maintains his decency even in situations where it would be understandable to do the opposite is absolutely admirable and shows what a great man he truly is. And you shouldn't even put your self in situations were you absolutely are dependent on hunting/gathering for food if you are that uncomfortable with hunger. When you go outdoors you have to be comfortable with whatever mother nature throws your way. Those who don't wish to preserve nature are the real harden criminals not those who seek to protect it!

I think thats pretty inspiring in its own right! having a bit of enthusiasm for something, getting some education, and going out and doing it, bravo, takes some guts to go into the unknown. you dont need to be a survival pro to enjoy a few days out bush, but it does help having a vague idea. a few knots, basic equipment, and a good attitude. you might come home dirty, smelly and exhausted, but it feels good to have done it. keep it up dude, Its good for the soul.
