  • Greg walks through 5 life saving ways to survive the elements overnight in some of the harshest condition in the world.
Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

Greg I live in England and have never been able to experience the wilderness in the way you do, watching your videos amaze me. You are a true outdoorsman and I love it! Your videos have taught me so much and I love watching more and learning more. Please don’t stop what you are doing you are an inspiration for people like me! Just remember to keep “the protector” with you at all times 😂👌🏽🌲🏝🏕

Greg I have been a bushman my whole life and you have the same approach to bushcraft as me. Very minimalist and simplistic using whatever is readily available in the area to my advantage rather than carry a ton of gear with me all the time. There are so many bushcraft videos that rely too heavily on carried items but rarely practice what they would do if separated from those items. Thanks for the videos. I look forward to more my friend.

Unlike so many so-called survivalists, who not only have many modern tools available to build shelters, and who also have an endless supply of store bought foods to cook, I noticed you also have instructions on how to make an easy shelter without a lot of tools, how to trap and cook wild game, and how to find wild plants, etc. for food.
Just what I was looking for!
I hate the videos where they always have all these store bought vegetables, fruits, etc, to cook, and never teach you how to trap and search for food, in case you become lost, are homeless, or are in a disaster situation, and most of the shelters either require tons of tools that you wouldn't have in those situations, OR the shelter is such crap, that even a light wind, mist, snow, or sudden drop in temperature, and you'd be doomed.
Thank you for the more useful and realistic survival videos, that a person can really learn from if needed, in order to survive. 👍

The old seeping bag would make a nice bed for Fenn............... By the way the hot rocks in your vehicle when it's freezing out during a storm broken down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere is a good idea. You could also have a few sets to swap out during the emergency. As for cooking a steak inside the car would interesting, maybe a cup of hot tea or coffee. Nice to see Fenn as a puppy... Back in the late 70's I bought a surplus Army hammock. Dark green cloth bottom, bug netting sides and a waterproof top to be tied up or draped in a hard rain. It was very comfortable for may years. I no longer have it and I can't remember what happened to it. Several friends had seen mine and went out and bought one as well I wish I cold find one. M old bones don't like the hard ground anymore.
