I'mma be real with you. You make some good points, I have no intention of watching part 2 let alone acknowledge it as canon. Rooster Teeth has no idea how to handle it's everything. But nah. Vtuber Ruby is the best way the series could end. She took a wrong turn through the portal and ended up in our world and now plays vidya games on Lindsay Jones' couch. That's a happy ending well deserved.
To be fair they had no idea how to end the series as either they bring the gods to Nuke the world, have them kill Salem... Or something silly like maximum effort silver eyes. When they had a very real solution found in season 9 which they ignored. Salem is immortal until the planet is gone... Or until she works out her issues. They made a big deal about the burning tree leaves making a mist that forces you to work out your issues. So Salem + mist = issues worked out = no immortality. They had an in cannon solution to stop her... And NOT ONE OF THEM grabbed any branches or leaves! Instead they learned that reflecting on past mistakes is for idiots.
I prefer RWBY chibi, since it basically decanonized volume 3, insuring that the other volume don't happen.Off topic, but since Ruby is my favorite character, her fight with Neo is still REALLY hard to watch.
I'm one who doesn't want to see any of what came from 2023 as RWBY as they all sucked and destroyed every aspect of the series that was good, replacing them with monstrosities. Makes me glad that I'm working on a full rewrite of RWBY from the beginning.

@@itsjustvin7630 Thing is, when I'm talking about rabid Pokemon defenders I'm not talking about people who rightfully call out people on being nitpicky so that they can be angry, I'm talking about the people who for some reason get mad when you point out that Violet and Scarlet's lackluster performance has less to do with the switch's admittedly outdated hardware and more to do with poor optimization as a natural consequence of Pokemon's unsustainable development cycle, I won't deny that the switch's hardware plays a role but it's pretty obvious based on Pokemon's development cycle that the devs weren't given enough time to properly optimize the game and that's what frustrates me the most, I want Pokemon to improve, to get longer development cycles per game so that they can as polished and quality as Mario and Zelda. So it can be aggravating when I voice my concerns with Pokemon, only to get at least a few rabid Pokemon defenders telling me that I should just shut up.
I’ve gotten a lot of hate for pointing out that about Ironwood. Anything that is a critique of the series is taboo, especially when it comes to Wasps as they hate that all Blake ever really did was lie and betray her team.
I don’t understand why people are still defending RWBY at this point. I mean the show has gone downhill since Volume 5. It used to be a fun show about a team of college students or teenagers fighting monsters, terrorist organization and criminal syndicates. But now it’s a show filled with plot holes, retcons, lack of unique fight scenes and characters acting unlikeable and stupid just for the sake of plot. I basically gave up on RWBY during Volume 8 because the characters were making stupid decisions that affect everyone around them and suffers not consequences for their actions. In fact, I don’t think Volume 10 will be greenlit because of a few reasons. 1. With the way the story is going, Team RWBY will do something stupid and destroy Vacou. 2. RWBY is losing fans and viewership over the years 3. Rooster Teeth is losing both money and fans and might go bankrupt 4. RWBY tends to forget things that have been established in the story 5. There are a lot of behind the scenes drama that paint Rooster Teeth in a bad light 6. Rooster Teeth has a habit of putting their most important plot details on side content instead of the main story 7. Any Rooster Teeth Actor/Animator/Employee has either quit or been fired meaning that there won’t be anyone left to make volume 10. 8. All of the RWBY Volumes are on paywalls which are expensive and half of them are on apps that don’t even work at all. 9. The characters have been come unlikeable, stupid and untrustworthy at this point 10. The show has strayed far away from Monty Oum’s vision The only things I’m looking forward to are Dragon’s Dogma 2, South Park Snow Day, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Dragon Age Dreadwolf, Castlevania Nocturne Season 2, Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead Season 2, Hell’s Paradise Season 2, My Happy Marriage Season 2, Spy x Family Season 3 and the Chainsaw Man Reze Arc Movie.
I agree with all of your points listed. Heck, in my full rewrite of the series many of those issues are actually addressed as I smooth out the lore, improve the plot, fill plot holes, provide actual character development, and NOT have them make the stupidest decisions possible, nor will they fail themselves to the top.
I won't be shocked if Ruby doesn't come back till 2028 Rt is under a company that's under another company and it's not like they could just go around asking different people for help if they were still an independent group on their own maybe they could but they're sitting here and they just can't do the being restricted by what they're under so it's going to take them a while to find some people to help Crunchyroll only help them part way with volume 9 if I'm not mistaken I'm not sure who would be willing to fund a full animated series especially considering even if it's just a season or maybe two or three cuz I think that's what they would fully need to finish the show up there aren't a lot of people out here willing to fund animated shows especially a lot of even streaming services in different platforms aren't doing the best with their animated shows and are canceling them left and right Maybe if we're lucky at some point maybe somebody could buy the Rwby IP from RT and maybe they could go to another company or somewhere like DreamWorks or Netflix to get the rest of the show finished and like I said if something like that happened it probably wouldn't 2028-2030 So here's hoping for the future even though the fan base is toxic and I can't stand it to the point I don't even interact really with the other fans in this fandom like I used to I just hope that we get some good news at some point or maybe they can finish this show in mangas And maybe not I'm going to comic form because when they do comics for the show the art sucks The mangas do better with better art

A big issue is that V9 involved so much rigging for characters when those characters are hardly gonna have any focus in upcoming volumes other than a cameo or two, even though characters like Oscar and Yang get a lot of hate for either being in the background or not developing enough
Yang lost her reason for being around when she began to ignore her own family right in front of her when they needed help. Blake contributed nothing as she left all of her positive character growth behind when she kissed Sun goodbye.
RWBY movies stole most of the character development that should have been in volume 9. As it feels like they took the money and made the teams work the movies and series 9 at the same time wasting character development and moments that should have been in the main series. I have not grown tired of the fandom... Just the main series.
I personally believe someone needs to buy the brand and reboot it. Fan content has been better than the actual thing (I'm looking forward to Dust Queen surprisingly enough) and the side content like the Mangas. I haven't honestly been a fan of RWBY since Volume 4 but I watched it until 5; keeping a random eye on it from some people I was subscribed to up to 9, every now and again. This show has been a dumpster fire that either needs to go the way of fan content like Dust Queen (I'm surprised that trailer even caught my attention at all) or an absolute reboot to fix what's wrong with it. Probably not a popular opinion but it's there. Good video by the way

I have a lot of bad experiences with the RWBY Fandom, so I tend to play it safe more than anything else.

To me, part 2 was such wasted potential. I don’t mind the usage of Kilg%re but he’s pretty much the only significant villain to the plot. How awesome would it have been if it turned out Watts was working with Lex Luthor, which would make more sense. Maybe even have RWBY fight alongside the JL against the Society/Legion/IL/whatever because even though I got the logic of some of the villains helping out, it made no sense to me that Watts and Kilg%re didn’t try to recruit or use some of them. All we got was a random moment with Killer Croc and wasted potential with Weather Wizard and Mirror Master. It’s DC. They practically invented supervillains. Even their lamest villains have their moments yet all we got were three Flash villains and one Batman villain. That’s one of the reasons why I thought it was so dumb that Weiss understood how Batman felt about Gotham City when she literally saw squat. If she dealt with one of his more menacing villains like Poison Ivy, Clayface, Scarecrow or Mister Freeze then it would have made sense. That and the final battle started good but then Watts was overall underwhelming. Although Joker and Harley enjoying the chaos was pretty funny and definitely in character.
Rwby....a show that had alot of potential of being an actual good show but turned into a mediocre sellout that would even sell their own mother just to earn a quick buck and maybe a few seconds of social media clout...
Coms down to merchandising, RT's merchandising for the most part is really bad, I see like 3D animations on youtube that have better merchandising(both merchandise and advertisment), with the way things are going it seems like the lessen less of the 3D and have to fill in most of the story with spin-off content via the storybook animation
Honestly that final rant about what RWBY meant and how it inspired you, I feel you so much there. I was introduced to RWBY years ago from a friend, and I fell in love with it. It was such a fun, charming show and it inspired me so much. Heck, I still have my OC team for RWBY that I remastered for a new story because I realized people would be sick of going back to school again. They went through a TON of rewriting, to say the least. But seeing this shambling corpse that was once my favorite web series, man, its just sad. But at least we now are in an indie animation renaissiance, so maybe one day we'll have a spiritual successor?
Found nothing to like about Volume 9… the best part being when Weiss fell through the hole. The ‘movies’? Not worth using as a coaster even if you got them for free, let alone watching them. They destroyed the characters in all three.
My dude, your best bet for RWBY is to have it reboot the story and give the rights to some one who love there fans I stop watching it when they through my boy sun in a desert and never be heard from again and left Blake all alone in a #@%& up situation that he should be there for now! I'm not as disappointed. I thought the movie was fine, and I've sort of been ignoring RT until any news of a V10 comes because I have had so little faith in this series so far, that I can't really be disappointed.

I think RWBY just needs to get a full reboot under a competent company. RoosterTeeth is straight garbage and they kill every IP they own. I do have a soft spot for this series because it’s got a lot of potential and some really good moments. I hope it gets passed on to a proper studio.
Yeah I'm not sure what going on with Rwby from RT sucking,the 2 main writers pulling away probably from being burned out right in the show for so many years and ready to move on but, to the toxic fans and all the side material I have to go through to keep up with this show and it feels like it's not worth it and I think the only thing keeping me engaged in to the show at all it's the fact that I want to see the two characters I like the most more than even the main, and the fact that I do art for this fandom and stuff is probably the only thing keeping me really interested in it but even I've been wavering on that the fan base has been toxic for this show like even more toxic than usual to the point I've seen people quit just over how other fans have been acting towards them And on top of it with the fact that we don't know anything about volume 10 and I know that the budget for the movies was different from the budget we had for the main show but I wish instead of getting the ever after in the main show we had got the ever after in these movies instead Like a what if movie like whatif the main character sell into the abyss that ambrosius told them not to we should have got that instead of these movies and we could have focused on vacuo like I wish we had everything they had the characters go through in the movies and even volume 9 they could have did all that and volume n vacuo Just have team Rwby get lost some were in vacuo and have them pass out from the hot heat and have them hallucinate some stuff back and forth to the figure out the problems and realize who should be a couple of them who should be upset about what and I don't know have John drink some cactus juice and hallucinate that he's older And then it would make sense why he's young again at the end and we could still focused on vacuo Someone mentioned this recently that if you think about it what was the point of the ever after when a lot of the models from it can't even really be used again because usually we would see models and stuff in the show get recycled but I don't really think they'll really be able to use a lot of the models that they spent years working on for the ever after in the main show unless somebody has a semblance that can bring fairy tales to life then I guess they'll be able to use them then these movies were a waste of time going to the ever after even though the writing was good was a waste of time and I wish we could have just focused on you know the main story and now we're sitting here in the dark as to when will ever get vtn and I wouldn't be shocked if we had to wait years Cuz it's not like RT is just an independent company anymore and they can just go to whoever they felt like for they're under a company that's under another company that I think is under another another company so they are restricted by the companies they're under and can't just go to everybody they could think of for help if they were still independent So it could be 2028 before we ever get volume 10 and by then nobody's going to care Will look up and nobody's going to care about that we'll just see that oh it's coming out it'll come out it'll do poorly and it'll just get canceled completely and then they'll try to finish the show in a book format with maybe a few volumes and Rwby will just full be over and I feel like this is what will happen 😢

I actually stopped watching after the Fall of Beacon. Much like My Hero Academia, this seems to be a series where the Fanfiction will outlive the canon series. XD
The world of RWBY is really fun and creative, but the narrative felt like it was becoming a bit too "mean spirited" as it went on. To me, at least. I'm sure there are still people who think it's the greatest show ever. All the more respect to them. ^_^
They made one a few years ago, but it was only released in China, and it was shut down in 2021. It was a sidescrolling beat'em up game, in the style of Streets of Rage. It's a shame, because it had genuinely good 3D models and combat animations, even compared to Grimm Eclipse and that other game whose name I can't remember.
Part 2 was better than the first but that didn't save it from still being a hot mess. I enjoyed it, but it's not something I'd come back to. If didnt really have a direction and RxJ part 1 was like someone who for some reason fell in love with all the flows of Rwby and made a movie out of it. Overall, bad movies. Good idea but bad execution. Its life when things go mainstream its like their selling out not getting the treatment they deserve. Their just using the name and not caring about the story, characters, and identity. I would recommend the RT play to their strengths and focus stricty on RWBY chibi, because unlike the visual diarrhea that is "WOKE RWBY" chibi is ACTUALLY good. But those useless monkeys would probably insert their garbage politics in there too,so uh.............no thank you. Kerry Shawcross and Miles Luna are mediocre writers at best. RWBY suffered from a lack of competent writing. Interesting ideas were never fleshed out the way they should have been. To be honest you could all stop liking or watching rwby all you want. For me i still like rwby and some crossovers event is not going to change that. Simply enough it's entertaining and I like the characters arcs and development and the story. So in my eyes it's not over unless rwby actually ends.

To be fair they had no idea how to end the series as either they bring the gods to Nuke the world, have them kill Salem... Or something silly like maximum effort silver eyes.
When they had a very real solution found in season 9 which they ignored.
Salem is immortal until the planet is gone... Or until she works out her issues.
They made a big deal about the burning tree leaves making a mist that forces you to work out your issues.
So Salem + mist = issues worked out = no immortality.
They had an in cannon solution to stop her... And NOT ONE OF THEM grabbed any branches or leaves!
Instead they learned that reflecting on past mistakes is for idiots.
I prefer RWBY chibi, since it basically decanonized volume 3, insuring that the other volume don't happen.Off topic, but since Ruby is my favorite character, her fight with Neo is still REALLY hard to watch.
I'm one who doesn't want to see any of what came from 2023 as RWBY as they all sucked and destroyed every aspect of the series that was good, replacing them with monstrosities.

Thing is, when I'm talking about rabid Pokemon defenders I'm not talking about people who rightfully call out people on being nitpicky so that they can be angry, I'm talking about the people who for some reason get mad when you point out that Violet and Scarlet's lackluster performance has less to do with the switch's admittedly outdated hardware and more to do with poor optimization as a natural consequence of Pokemon's unsustainable development cycle, I won't deny that the switch's hardware plays a role but it's pretty obvious based on Pokemon's development cycle that the devs weren't given enough time to properly optimize the game and that's what frustrates me the most, I want Pokemon to improve, to get longer development cycles per game so that they can as polished and quality as Mario and Zelda.
So it can be aggravating when I voice my concerns with Pokemon, only to get at least a few rabid Pokemon defenders telling me that I should just shut up.

I don’t understand why people are still defending RWBY at this point. I mean the show has gone downhill since Volume 5. It used to be a fun show about a team of college students or teenagers fighting monsters, terrorist organization and criminal syndicates. But now it’s a show filled with plot holes, retcons, lack of unique fight scenes and characters acting unlikeable and stupid just for the sake of plot. I basically gave up on RWBY during Volume 8 because the characters were making stupid decisions that affect everyone around them and suffers not consequences for their actions. In fact, I don’t think Volume 10 will be greenlit because of a few reasons.
1. With the way the story is going, Team RWBY will do something stupid and destroy Vacou.
2. RWBY is losing fans and viewership over the years
3. Rooster Teeth is losing both money and fans and might go bankrupt
4. RWBY tends to forget things that have been established in the story
5. There are a lot of behind the scenes drama that paint Rooster Teeth in a bad light
6. Rooster Teeth has a habit of putting their most important plot details on side content instead of the main story
7. Any Rooster Teeth Actor/Animator/Employee has either quit or been fired meaning that there won’t be anyone left to make volume 10.
8. All of the RWBY Volumes are on paywalls which are expensive and half of them are on apps that don’t even work at all.
9. The characters have been come unlikeable, stupid and untrustworthy at this point
10. The show has strayed far away from Monty Oum’s vision
The only things I’m looking forward to are Dragon’s Dogma 2, South Park Snow Day, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Dragon Age Dreadwolf, Castlevania Nocturne Season 2, Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead Season 2, Hell’s Paradise Season 2, My Happy Marriage Season 2, Spy x Family Season 3 and the Chainsaw Man Reze Arc Movie.
I agree with all of your points listed. Heck, in my full rewrite of the series many of those issues are actually addressed as I smooth out the lore, improve the plot, fill plot holes, provide actual character development, and NOT have them make the stupidest decisions possible, nor will they fail themselves to the top.

A big issue is that V9 involved so much rigging for characters when those characters are hardly gonna have any focus in upcoming volumes other than a cameo or two, even though characters like Oscar and Yang get a lot of hate for either being in the background or not developing enough
Yang lost her reason for being around when she began to ignore her own family right in front of her when they needed help. Blake contributed nothing as she left all of her positive character growth behind when she kissed Sun goodbye.

RWBY movies stole most of the character development that should have been in volume 9.
As it feels like they took the money and made the teams work the movies and series 9 at the same time wasting character development and moments that should have been in the main series.
I have not grown tired of the fandom... Just the main series.
I personally believe someone needs to buy the brand and reboot it. Fan content has been better than the actual thing (I'm looking forward to Dust Queen surprisingly enough) and the side content like the Mangas. I haven't honestly been a fan of RWBY since Volume 4 but I watched it until 5; keeping a random eye on it from some people I was subscribed to up to 9, every now and again. This show has been a dumpster fire that either needs to go the way of fan content like Dust Queen (I'm surprised that trailer even caught my attention at all) or an absolute reboot to fix what's wrong with it.

The only reason I ended up mentioning that is I don't know the comment section or this creator. This is the first video of his I watched and I tend to be unfiltered in my opinions. I have a lot of bad experiences with the RWBY Fandom, so I tend to play it safe more than anything else.

To me, part 2 was such wasted potential. I don’t mind the usage of Kilg%re but he’s pretty much the only significant villain to the plot. How awesome would it have been if it turned out Watts was working with Lex Luthor, which would make more sense. Maybe even have RWBY fight alongside the JL against the Society/Legion/IL/whatever because even though I got the logic of some of the villains helping out, it made no sense to me that Watts and Kilg%re didn’t try to recruit or use some of them. All we got was a random moment with Killer Croc and wasted potential with Weather Wizard and Mirror Master. It’s DC. They practically invented supervillains. Even their lamest villains have their moments yet all we got were three Flash villains and one Batman villain. That’s one of the reasons why I thought it was so dumb that Weiss understood how Batman felt about Gotham City when she literally saw squat. If she dealt with one of his more menacing villains like Poison Ivy, Clayface, Scarecrow or Mister Freeze then it would have made sense. That and the final battle started good but then Watts was overall underwhelming. Although Joker and Harley enjoying the chaos was pretty funny and definitely in character.
Rwby....a show that had alot of potential of being an actual good show but turned into a mediocre sellout that would even sell their own mother just to earn a quick buck and maybe a few seconds of social media clout...
Coms down to merchandising, RT's merchandising for the most part is really bad, I see like 3D animations on youtube that have better merchandising(both merchandise and advertisment), with the way things are going it seems like the lessen less of the 3D and have to fill in most of the story with spin-off content via the storybook animation

Honestly that final rant about what RWBY meant and how it inspired you, I feel you so much there.
I was introduced to RWBY years ago from a friend, and I fell in love with it. It was such a fun, charming show and it inspired me so much. Heck, I still have my OC team for RWBY that I remastered for a new story because I realized people would be sick of going back to school again. They went through a TON of rewriting, to say the least.
But seeing this shambling corpse that was once my favorite web series, man, its just sad. But at least we now are in an indie animation renaissiance, so maybe one day we'll have a spiritual successor?
Found nothing to like about Volume 9… the best part being when Weiss fell through the hole.
The ‘movies’? Not worth using as a coaster even if you got them for free, let alone watching them.

I think RWBY just needs to get a full reboot under a competent company. RoosterTeeth is straight garbage and they kill every IP they own. I do have a soft spot for this series because it’s got a lot of potential and some really good moments. I hope it gets passed on to a proper studio.

They made one a few years ago, but it was only released in China, and it was shut down in 2021. It was a sidescrolling beat'em up game, in the style of Streets of Rage. It's a shame, because it had genuinely good 3D models and combat animations, even compared to Grimm Eclipse and that other game whose name I can't remember.
Part 2 was better than the first but that didn't save it from still being a hot mess. I enjoyed it, but it's not something I'd come back to. If didnt really have a direction and RxJ part 1 was like someone who for some reason fell in love with all the flows of Rwby and made a movie out of it.
Overall, bad movies. Good idea but bad execution. Its life when things go mainstream its like their selling out not getting the treatment they deserve.

Agreed. I gave up watching RWBY as well and moved on to better shows like Spy x Family, Chainsaw Man, Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead, Castlevania Nocturne, My Happy Marriage, Delicious in Dungeon, Jujutsu Kaisen, Hell’s Paradise, Ted and Legend of Vox Machina
Kerry Shawcross and Miles Luna are mediocre writers at best. RWBY suffered from a lack of competent writing. Interesting ideas were never fleshed out the way they should have been. The trailers were the high point and it never reached that point again. Volume 3 was the only time the show felt like it had its own identity and not an anime knockoff. @@samflood5631

Ruby costume in this movie of rwby x justice league part 2 looks good and her latex stockings well l don't know if she actually was wearing that with the costume in the movie but it' looks like latex to me. is probably why l like her costume more maybe😅.

To be honest you could all stop liking or watching rwby all you want. For me i still like rwby and some crossovers event is not going to change that. Simply enough it's entertaining and I like the characters arcs and development and the story. So in my eyes it's not over unless rwby actually ends.

@@Jackson-ub1uv I think at minimum Jess before volume 9, is 4-5 years than Jaune. It's not that bad of a gap unless we highballed her to 27-29 even then mentally that makes no difference now.

Batman teaming up with the TMNT was a crossover we needed
The Justice League and the MMPR was definitely unexpected, but not unwelcome
However, the Scooby-Doo gang teaming up with Batman and then Krypto was just straight up stupid, idiotic, and pointless. Just why tho? They should've animated the Power Rangers crossover. That would've been better
