- Justice League X RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsman is a travesty of a film. Honestly, the world is better off without it. But Part 2 was announced at RTX, and it seems to be drawing from DC/RWBY, one of the two DC crossover comics with RWBY. DC/RWBY is different from RWBY X Justice League, which was adapted into Justice League X RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsman Part 1. This isn't confusing at all. Rooster Teeth seems to be banking all of its hopes on Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman teaming up with Ruby, Yang, Blake and Weiss, so let's see if they were cooking (they weren't).

Why couldn't they animate part 2 in 2D since they're in the Justice league world now yeah it would be jarring but that really sold the idea that there in another world and it would have been neat to see the rwby characters in the DC animated art style?

I went into this just for the Justice League aspect, (I'm trying to watch/read every piece of DC media, no matter how bad) i know RWBY by name only, so i am not familiar with any of the characters who aren't DC, and this was just.....

The fact that this exists at all is weird enough, but the fact that they didn't even have the Queen of Fables be the bad guy is just a missed opportunity.
I really hate how in part two the new dc character is black cannery, the woman whos power is to scream.
Why not blue beetle, shazam, zatana, or Raven and have some diolog how team rwby know a raven as well. Its something.

I read the DC/RWBY comic and it was WAYYY better than Justice League x RWBY. I surprisingly liked the comic which is coming from a person who despises RWBY in recent years. They should've done TMNT vs RWBY. Actually makes sense
I hate alot of the RWBY DC stuff the RWBY DC comic from 2019 were ok because unlike all the other Ruby
material we get outside the show it actually covered some stuff and volume four it was a real shocker to me that they decided to actually cover
something and volume four and not focus on volumes 1 through 3 like they always do some of the stories in the 2019 comics were actually good
especially the ones with Weis the ones with Blake were really boring I remember the ones we gained really will I remember the one where Ruby and John's team went to a town and people were really leery of huntsmen
and didn't want their help in that affected their morale than traveling I wish we could have gotten to see that in the show that would have been a

development between volumes four through six was just wasted they didn't build up on anything with him they didn't talk about what he left at home like to hear friends or their family or a dream he wanted to expire to do in life like to heewon become a doctor maybe after living in the farm or something we just jumped right into him being
possessed by odds and that was it and that's how I was up till like episode 9 9 of volume 6 , I also would have liked it if we got to see more of a bit more of her journey and the other things she
was doing like in the 2019 comics because West didn't really get to do much for tweens like volumes 4-8 i feel it even kind of felt like that on volume nine, I guess when Weiss gets to vacuo she'll work on making people see her family's name in the new light I guess and

Okay, i wonton say that this is an AMAZING idea, cause itself not, nor by a longshot. Itself an AMUSING idea, big difference. At least to me it is, cause i just find it funny that we live in an age where we can now say that DC has crossed over with an "anime" in film form, just as dc has just started re-entering the anime/manga arena in terms of their projects in the last several years, what with the Batman ninja anime, the batman and justice league manga that came out a while back, like a few years ago i think, and now with the recebtly announced dc mangas soon to release and with the suicide isekai anime coming out soon, along with the new superman cartoon that's also clearly anime inspired. Plus, dc has been crossing over with other properties for years throughout different forms of media, i don't think any of us should really be that surprised or upset that RWBY just so happened to be added to that list of crossovers. I mean, dc has crossed over with TMNT, i think it'll survive through crossing over with the likes of rwby, alright? Besides, think of it from a business standpoint, regardless of how we feel, rwby still is objectively a popular series among its demographic, and DC is the biggest comic book property in the industry, rivaled only by marvel, it only makes sense these crossover stories happen in the pursuit of financial success, so we should've seen this coming. But whatever, I'm a glass half full guy, so, no biggie to me.

@bushamo fair, it's also not very hindered by rwby lore, in all fairness. Plus, I feel one can enjoy a videogame more than a made for video movie. Just watch, I bet at least one rwby character will become a dlc in the next Injustice game.

Completely random thought that has nothing to do with the video. But for people who would prefer to have flight power over speed power that's like the argument would you be dumb but rich or poor but smart. With flight sure you could get everywhere faster but with speed you could think fast and be fast, or at least that's what I think of when I think about speed. You could get a lot more done

All of these comics are so ass. I still remember how Crimson Rose was probably too complex for the original RWBY comic and they just scaled a png to make it fit the panels.
I really like the comics I don't get the hate for them especially the first one I think how they have the DC characters in the RWBY universe is clever fusion of the worlds Diana having been made(in her original origins) and changing it so she's like Penny makes sense it's a neat way of using the old origin that makes sense in RWBY.
How they explained Superman's semblance I think is really neat too plus kind of a fun idea having them meet him through farming.
Plus it introduced some ideas I think are neat that we'll probably never actually see again like Dust not working in space or that you get a semblance from entering the atmosphere of remnant.
Also I just think all the RWBY DC designs are pretty cool especially Wonder Woman's.
The 2nd comic isn't even done yet so can't say what I fully think but so far I think it's neat and the RWBY girls DC designs I think looks great especially Yang as she looks like a Amazon which makes a whole lot of sense I think

Personally I thought Justice League X RWBY was okay. Like there were dumb things like Batman angsting over wanting to stay in Remnant, and the love triangle (You know the one). But I don't find it as offensive as...name a superhero taisen movie.
Also I love DC/RWBY solely because everything is Lex's fault because he wanted to give everyone semblances. Which is on brand.

Plus, the idea that of DC world merging with a world from an outside property universe with catastrophic results also happened in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.

I definitely do NOT think they could wrap it up, but given how much of an improvement Volume 9 was, I’m hopeful. Also, then who they got animating these films

I recently tried to re-watch part 1 and it was just so I think I got to where they got to meet the rest of the Justice
League after coming from Oz's office and I just started to blank out and then when I looked up they were like part
way through the movie fighting a bunch of grim and Ruby was having some type of fight with cyborg and super man talked and my mind just zone out each time
Nora were having couple issues and I blanked out again in the movie was
over It was just so bad I couldn't watch it
I did however re-watch part 2 at least three times cuz it was actually good I'm not sure how you will feel about part two but I think it was actually I am a little salty though after learning that
these movies were something that like the people who work rwby wanted to do like as a side project and I'm really getting tired of these side projects that are set and volumes 1 2 3 I wish they had decided to do these projects

I'm literally only going to watch this Rwby DC stuff because it is something that's just tired of me over till I can get volume 10 the show miraculous ladybug does this to where they'll do like specials and stuff between like the seasons because sometimes we have to wait like a year or two hiatus so they've been making like specials and stuff in between that to tire fans over because they know we really want to see the show I honestly think Ruby would benefit more from making specials like they did last ice queendom and the year before that when we got Ruby fairy tales of remnant they did the shorts based off of the Ruby fairytale book that was made a few years back, I don't mind that we're getting Ruby d.c. part to and from what we've seen in the one image from RTX the past week teamruby will be in the Justice league's world on Earth

so believe it or not here is a RWBY manga and an official anthology. Honestly read those over this crossover crap, it's better and more entertaining than this if you enjoy the little stuff.
Also bro you should check the animated movies of Justice League too, especially Dark and Apocalyptic War and I swear after watching those you will be more annoyed with this crossover and its depiction of the Justice League.

And nerfing the heroes at the end of V8 for the sake of tension and drama for the next volume was a mistake. That along with Penny dying again felt like a cheap rehash of V3's conclusion.

The best thing that came from this movie is, as with everything pertaining to RWBY these days it feels like, the fan art.
But please, for the love of God... PLEASE give Wonder Woman a different design in the future. She's just a slightly tweaked Pyrrha at this point, I don't like it. I would legally accuse them of plagiarizing themselves if I could.

Considering part 1 already did league members changing to work off rwby rules and getting aged down rwby style designs, I can’t help but feel like part 2 will be the opposite. Like maybe team rwby will be slightly aged up and Yang will be an Amazon and ruby will have speed force powers or something
Also I tried reading that DC/rwby one and yeah it was not good. In the same way the movie felt like it was made with surface level DC knowledge with characters like Batman just feeling wrong, that comic felt like it was made by people who didn’t watch any of rwby. There’s a lot of weird out of character dialogue moments especially with Blake from what I remember, misunderstandings as to how shit in rwby exactly works, Rubys eyes are regularly colored red (which I find funny cause she’s the ONE member of the team who’s eye color is actually plot relevant) and tbh a lot of the art in general is just really bad bordering on uncanny
