THANK YOU SO MUCH, ive had my image imported as plane, but the shadow would only take the outline of the plane, and the green screen ??? THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR, i can't thank you enough !!
Thank you for an awesome tutorial! So helpful and especially mentioning the part where importing image planes might not being an option and how to add it! Would have been so lost without that comment!
Try this and let me know how you get on: In Blender 4.2, the 'Blend Mode' and 'Shadow Mode' settings have been updated: Blend Mode: Replaced by 'Render Method' with options like 'Dithered' and 'Blended'. 'Blended' corresponds to the former 'Alpha Blend'. Shadow Mode: Now managed under Object Properties > Visibility > Ray Visibility > Shadow. Additionally, options like 'Backface Culling' for shadows and 'Transparent Shadows' have been introduced to optimize performance.
How would to make the animation look 3 dimensional when you set up the lighting and shading? The only way i could think of is setting up a bump node with different image textures animation set at different stage. Eg: color animation, black and white animation, reverse black and white, shaded animation, contrasted animation. Etc.. I also thought of weight paint and subdivision of the panels. But I'm not entirely sure if that would work.
Thank you for this tutorial! So helpful and clear! Is there a way to influence the speed of the animation (say, slow it down to play on 2's?) there must be a node I'm missing.
+ 10000000 points for using the default cube
