Here are the 10 points that some of you did not notice in the video Indoctrination: Both were raised to see each other as enemies. Desire for Strength: Eren wanted to eradicate Titans; Reiner aimed to prove himself as a Warrior. Betrayal: Both betrayed their comrades-Reiner as the Armored Titan, Eren with the Yeagerists. Titan Shifters: Both wield immense power as Titan shifters. Mental Struggles: Reiner deals with PTSD; Eren's mind is affected by his powers. Childhood Trauma: Both faced harsh realities of war from a young age. Extremist Viewpoints: Eren seeks to destroy threats; Reiner wants to protect his family. Bearing Hatred: Each carries the weight of their actions and the world's perception. Cycle of Violence: Both are trapped in a cycle of conflict and revenge. Shared Humanity: Despite differences, they recognize their fundamental similarities.
Great points. A few which i view slightly differently in details. Betrayal: Both infiltrated, befriended n betrayed their enemy-comrades-Reiner with his cadets, Eren with Falco. Mental Struggles: Reiner deals with PTSD; Eren is a prisoner to his own desire for freedom (so much that, despite knowing future instances, he can't sway away from it) Extremist Viewpoints: Eren seeks to destroy threats despite knowing not all are threats for his vision of freedom; Reiner chooses to carry on his mission despite knowing island devils are not devils n the same as them for he wants to become a hero n be acknowledged as the saviour of the world.
It is so mind blowing thta isayama can come up with such a great story , he is very much a genius so thankful for him for providing such a great story for us. i hope he create a prequel of sorts for attack on titan like for the great titian war.
