The bike in this video is a 2011 and uses the 2 judder springs (spring seat and washer). Your 2005 does not have these so you don't need to worry about that. I believe Honda started using the judder springs in 2008.
I love your how-to's but the camera placement on this one was unfortunate. "Here's a video of the back of my hand as I do all the steps." Still helpful and I appreciate the content.
We only have the OEM clutch plates available for your bike. But you can find those by entering your bike in our OEM parts finder and clicking on the clutch assembly schematic. www.rockymountainatvmc.com/oem-parts/Honda
@@rmatvmc Yes but the plates have little notches on them on some sides. Does the orientation of those matter at all? Seems to because he adjusted them sometimes. He didn't explain but he did turn them sometimes to get them a certain way. What was he doing? How is it supposed to go in?
TH-cam is the new technical college!😂 Thanks Steve!!!! 🤙🏾
I have done this a few times but i still watch these videos because I thinks its fun
I was confused when my Tusk clutch replacement didn't come with the thinner inner friction disk. Now I know.

Glad you liked it! Thank you for watching!
Why do you have a cable off the front side of your back brake lever? I’m assuming to keep it from pushing too far down?
I have gray oil, and I was told it was the clutch is that true or might be something else?
Fantastic video, cheers mate!
Is there a different plates for different gears or dose it matter?
I'm about to do a clutch on my 05 crf450r and I can't seem to find a replacement spring washer and spring seat like in your video. Any leads on them?

You didn't even explain how to orient the clutch plates and why you would turn them to put them like you did.
We talk about and show the clutch plate orientation from 4:35 to 5:00 in this video.
