There's something I really like about the Metro! For Nomos, I hope they start putting out more of these cool automatic watches with dates and such on smaller case sizes. I tried the Club 38 a while ago and it is a great size for my 6.75 inch wrist. The bigger automatic ones are too big... like a saucer on the wrist a bit. I'd love to see this new date complication make it to the more entry level Clubs.
I love Nomos as a brand, I have the Ludwig 36mm that with the narrow bezel wears more like a 39-40mm. The Tangente would be my preference but at over 40 it's another one that I'd have to try on my wrist as I would prefer not to wear something that looks like a dinner plate on the wrist. I do love the execution of the date complication.
@Teddy, your loading screen at 1:04 is misspelling your last name. Might wanna take a look at that. As always, great content and you've got me hooked on Nomos. Cheers!
The Metro Power Reserve embodies everything that draws me to NOMOS... classic form and modern flair presented in the same understated, yet breathtaking case!
Great video Teddy Bakdaddarre! 😉 1:04 Jokes aside, these are KILLER new pieces from Nomos...thanks for going into so much detail. Adding the blue variant to my wishlist.
I love the simple design, yet interesting face and functionality it provides. They wear well and are an easy fit for the cuff test. These offer a classic flair with a twist.
NOMOS - one of the MOST underrated brands! I love my METRO DATUM GANGRESERVE, one of my favourite watches I've ever owned! It's definitely a keeper! Thanks for the review TB.
My God! These are good looking watches. “Striking” is right on! I’m with you; if there is one German brand I want on my wrist it’s Nomos. Thanks for sharing. Great cinematic views and images.
Never really heard of this brand. At first I just looked over it. Once I had a better look.. everything changed haha. I'd definitely enjoy owning one of these
Great review! It would be interesting to make a review for the Nomos Lambda 175 years of watchmaking glasshutte. I saw the white dial version and i believe its one of the best looking watches i've seen lately.
If you like German watches and the look of Nomos….but can’t spend those kind of dollars, check out Lilienthal Berlin. They have both quartz and auto options.
Beautiful watches and great presentation! I note that my Hamilton Khaki Navy Pioneer with small seconds looks a bit like some in the Nomos family. Of course the Hamilton with a 2895 movement is more entry level focused.
This is a very good, unconventional and elegant alternative to a standard dress watch. I would choose it for my blue sport coats, which are multi-toned or my suits which are either gray or blue. These are classy yet unconventional. Creative personalities can rejoice!!
These shots of classic Metro Power Reserve. God damn, that watch is so good, I still prefer that one to all the others released after. Btw the new Clubs are my favourite release of the event, so I pray to God that you review them. The orange one looks like it’s literally made of orange fruit.
Teddy, I would love to have the new club automatik but I didn't see any in stocks. Do you know if you would get any? I understand they are limited but I wasn't sure if I could sign up for a waitlist? Thank you for the love of Nomos!
I encourage everyone to read the latest WatchTime magazine featuring Teddy. Great article about how he started out, influencers, and state of the industry. Great read!
The date mechanism could also be enhance to show different colours for am and pm. Change it to dots, not bars, and alternate the colours. Then have that ring move twice a day
With Nomos, I love their dial designs and colors, but their case shapes are just too elegant for me, who always seeking for casual case design, more versatile and better utility.
One question to you sir what does neomatik means?in 2007 when nomos launched 16 different tetra colours then it were not mentioned with neomatik but newer tetra watches are labelled with neomatik
neomatic is the "new automatic". it's just a term they use for their completely in house (aside from spring which only 2 places in the world seem to produce). it really separates the neomatic watches from the previous nomos movements, which were... not really in house calibers. a neomatic branded dial shows that the watch has a superior technology and commitment to production that the old ones, do not.
I like the vintage classic design of almost all of the NOMOS watches. The option for many people, like me, is would I rather get a new NOMOS $2500 watch or a very original Rolex Oyster watch in excellent condition for about the same $$. I guess the Rolex might be a tad higher than $2500 but not much. I would get the Rolex. Once they depreciate down to $2500-$3000 their value stabilize or goes up slowly. Not an easy decision. I really like the style of the NOMOS. In certain circles of society it is common to see Rolexes and other $10,000 watches. This NOMOS watch is nice because it stands out a bit as a conversation piece. I liked the video.
I really like the date feature, I've seen it before on the Tangente. However, I have a 37mm Metro Gangreserve, and that already wears as big or bigger than some 40s, bigger than I'd like, though I quite like the watch despite that. I'm quite sure this would wear like a frisbee on my 6.5" wrist. I shame really.
I have mixed feelings about NOMOS Teddy. I know you appreciate their conservative or minimalist style as do I but I generally struggle with watches such as this. I don't feel as though they've got the bezel to dial ratio right. I appreciate this is their design but I do think they'd be more successful if they moved a little to bring down that ratio to make the watch feel a little more substantial yet not make it look like a sundial on the wrist. The 36mm looks to dainty on me but the 41mm looks odd arguably cheap fashion watch stylee.
I love nomos, especially for its simplicity, but my fear is that the first non expert in watches will thinks I've a soulless & valueless Wellington just because there are a lot of advertisement. that would be a insult to such a great brand with excellent design, good quality for the price...
Guess I'm a luddite, really don't see the beauty of Nomos designs.. To me they look like a bland fashion watch, sorry. I know they are very well made high quality timepieces, I guess I just prefer Bauhaus design sticking to architecture and not watches. Good review tho, Cheers mate 👍🏻
@@JayandSarah no I haven't seen any IRL, but I really don't like the style - I don't doubt they have impeccable German build quality tho. Just don't float my boat, to each their own. (don't like Patek's either, I'm pretty much tool watches only) Cheers mate 👍🏻
I'm using my Nomos ahoi Atlantic Date as my daily office dress watch for 4 years now. Great companion.

Prefer that than issues with details of the watch. Good eye
He now has a new editor haha
The Metro Power Reserve embodies everything that draws me to NOMOS... classic form and modern flair presented in the same understated, yet breathtaking case!
Watching this with my midnight blue Tangente on! Love it so much
Great video Teddy Bakdaddarre! 😉 1:04

Wow....just bought Metro Neomatik 41 Update (white dial) yesterday.
Jhoot mat bol jhatu
"Bakdassare" - I had to go back and double-check, and then I see @Jose Perez already nailed it! Beautiful watches, @Teddy. Love your content.
I love the simple design, yet interesting face and functionality it provides. They wear well and are an easy fit for the cuff test. These offer a classic flair with a twist.

One of my grails for sure!
Nice video, mr. Bakdassarre
Damn that date display is so nice
My God! These are good looking watches. “Striking” is right on!
I’m with you; if there is one German brand I want on my wrist it’s Nomos.
Thanks for sharing. Great cinematic views and images.
nomos blends classic design and proportions with modern aesthetics better than most brands
Thanks for the wonderful review!
Nomos is my favourite watch brand and Metro is their best collection in my opinion.
Congrats on the Watch Time Mag interview. Just got my issue yesterday.
Thank you, Frank! That was very cool to be featured there!
Absolut gelungen - sehr schöne Uhren!
Very very usefull Channel m8. For the variety of showed watches and for the measures of them. Ty.
Color date indicator is interesting...can’t decide if I like it.
I'd prefer a color that's less "hot" than red, which makes it look like a warning indicator.
Nomos have a limited edition Doctors Without Borders watch and I want it so bad, they’re so classy
Oh wow, maybe my new favorite NOMOS
Its lovely isn’t it? 😍
It’s the blue one for me 😍 will you look at the new releases from Christopher ward?
Never really heard of this brand. At first I just looked over it. Once I had a better look.. everything changed haha. I'd definitely enjoy owning one of these
The Tangente in midnight blue with that green date indicator is really beautiful.
True. I got one.
Thanks for detailed video on these awesome watches...Definitly will own a Nomos or Mühle in the near future.
That midnight blue is gorgeous
I really love NOMOS.
This metro is actually very nice
I am loving the angled down lugs, helping the size issue which is my one usual beef with Nomos.
P.s. there's a typo on your name in the intro
I'm glad Teddy likes Nomos. I own a Metro Powereserve, myself. But I can't find any other watch channels where Nomos gets any air time.
Always have and will appreciate the brand.
Great review! It would be interesting to make a review for the Nomos Lambda 175 years of watchmaking glasshutte. I saw the white dial version and i believe its one of the best looking watches i've seen lately.
That Navy blue dial model though!
Nomos is one of my favorite German brands, its funny how paired back the watches are yet so full of character.
Reminds me of the Epos 3804, also a beautiful watch.
If you like German watches and the look of Nomos….but can’t spend those kind of dollars, check out Lilienthal Berlin. They have both quartz and auto options.
great video!
tanner
Adjusted in 6 positions Bravo NOMOS
Beautiful watches. In that price range, I look elsewhere, but these two are quite striking.
I really like these. This def put my eye on nomos. Good vid!
Absolutely love your content here in the UK Teddy- congratulations on over 300k subscribers. Would love a review on Meistersinger watches.
Have you seen the Milus Snow Star watches? Would love to see you do a review on them.
What stunning watches, the finishes look amazing
Beautiful watches and great presentation! I note that my Hamilton Khaki Navy Pioneer with small seconds looks a bit like some in the Nomos family. Of course the Hamilton with a 2895 movement is more entry level focused.
Please get a hands on with the Future Orange!
This is a very good, unconventional and elegant alternative to a standard dress watch. I would choose it for my blue sport coats, which are multi-toned or my suits which are either gray or blue. These are classy yet unconventional. Creative personalities can rejoice!!
I wish this date complication is avaliable in the smaller Tangente.
Even if Bauhaus is not your thing.. These are obviously amazing machines.
Teddy! you have a typo error of your name at about 1 minute mark of the video!
Love Nomos. Great brand, great people.
Love them , blue for me , gonna look into getting one
Teddy pick out the winner already
Do they come with a bracelet option? If so, how is it? Another great video Teddy!
Nice watches and nice video quality
Thanks my friend!
@@TeddyBaldassarre YW! Keep it up!
How big is Tangente Neomatik 41 for a 16cm wrist? seems fine on teddy's wrist, doesn't it?
Been waiting on this review

You need to check out "Wempe Glashütte" watches, if you love german watchmaking!
The date function on the Metro Neomatik is really striking but I’d prefer a gray leather strap to nylon.
hey teddy! my collection is starting to get a little too big, and i was wondering how to start trading watches?
The date mechanism could also be enhance to show different colours for am and pm. Change it to dots, not bars, and alternate the colours. Then have that ring move twice a day

Just got Orion olive gold which is just right
Absolutely gorgeous. You've been feeding my love for German watches, Teddy--Nomos, Muhle... got to figure out how to get my fix!
I don’t think I’ll ever get Nomos.....the designs definitely aren’t for me. However, it’s obvious the quality is very good.
I love Nomos watches!! Beautiful yet Simple. Aren't they German? As always Love your videos Teddy!!
39-40mm would be a better size, but still a very nice watch!
Metro for me! The lugs on the tangent turn me off even though I love the dial.
Can you do a video on entry level gold tone watches
I love the Metro Neomatic 41, especially with that hint of red popping through on the outer date but I'd rather see the red alligator strap on it!

I want that white one.
Can ypu recomend some small watches for small wrists?

silly post. where are you getting a rolex anything other than a beat up non functioning oyster quartz for $2500? What a dreamer post.
This Metro might be becoming a grail.. if only it was a little smaller and had lume I think it would be my perfect watch

I LOVE Nomos.. but 41mm all dial is just too much for me.. 38 all dial is perfect (imo) for an all dial watch.
Could someone please tell me the name of the track at 0:43 ?
I think you misspelled your name in the Intro 🤷🏼
Very nice but no room
Nomos decided not to make this in anything smaller than 41mm. That combined with the nomos monster lugs, its just too big for me :(
Definitely have to try on the Watch. Looks incredible, but I‘m definitely also more on the smaller to medium wrist size.
What a shame.
Beautiful, but big size kidna kills the elegant side of the look.

who cares waht a non expert thinks. you could always wear it upside down with the movement showing.
Such an interesting brand
Love the design but not the price. 😋
Yeah, I wouldn't buy these again after having the crown stem coming out numerous times. I returned the watch to the dealer.
Nomos vs Junghans?
I have a video in the coming weeks that addresses this answer properly.
Looks super cool until I saw the price. It cost the same as my PC! 😅
what were you expecting, a $149 watch?
@@JayandSarah Add $0.99 cents and make it $149.99 to follow the psychology of pricing.
Can you put a baby arm in the shots to represent mine?
I’m just going to say like Mr. Wonderful Kevin O’Learly if it ain’t Swiss I ain’t buying it..
Watch is nice tho

have you seen them in person? i mean, does a $30k patek calatrava look that much different than a $159 seiko at times?
