I see your points. Well, have to say that Nomos is growing on me. Have always loved Montblancs, but this one is so much more casual and funny. You are doing a good job with it Gringa!
Such a lovely thing to stare at, and getting a peek behind the curtain, to see the people responsible for such a beautifully finished movement, is really special. ❤❤❤
Nomos movements are beautiful and winding them is a real joy. This week’s favorite color way is Nachtgesang. I guarantee you I’ll name a different color next week - probably the one that makes me think of gingerbread cake or 70s ochre, orange and brown combo.
Can’t wait to get my hands on mine! Flamingo pink is by far the best colorway for me. Hats off on this stellar launch! It’s awesome to have such cool, funky watches at reasonable prices, unlike those moonswatches or that new quartz-powered Kith Heuer Formula 1 😂
@@BrittPearceWatches I'm a Williams (Albon) fan first, so I know what you mean ;-) That's why I follow Max and Fernando too: they give me more to be happy about :-)
Britt!! NOMOS makes such an amazing watch. Love the colors and design. But every time I try one on the wrist, the lugs and 38mm size just do not do it for me. Now if they brought out the Tangente Neomatik in these colors...Hmmm I would rethink my decision. I agree with the Schlossgrun, but the sky blue Delfin would win me over except for the white date wheel. Long live the Cult(s)!!
Ouuu DON! A nomos is definitely missing from your collection! And I’m actually so jealous of your wrist size and that you can pull off the watches that I can! 🤣 I would LOVE a Lambda!! That would be my grail Nomos! But it just doesn’t fit me 😭 But you know what I love about nomos…. No 4:30 date windows. 😈😝 ahhaha LONG LIVE THE CULT(S)!
This is the standout event of all the watch brands this year, the Nomos colour watches. They mostly all look good, the lemon one was very interesting. Talking of bauhaus, i'm wearing a Ravel Army, with the camouflage strap swapped for another strap it now looks like a Braun bauhaus watch, and only cost about £10 or whatever it was.
Glashütte is a bit out of the way for most visits to Germany, unless you happen to be visiting Dresden! The double e in Schneesturm is pronounced -ay rather than -ee by the way :)
I am sooo close (possibly tomorrow) to pulling the trigger on a Club Campus 738 that I've found in stock at an AD. What do you reckon? Shall I do it? 😀
I bounced a bit between the Tiefseegrau and Chili a bit but went with the latter because it's so hot. On the long lugs, I think they actually work well with the thinner, angled design on the Tangente and other models with the same case design. The lack of a bezel makes the dial look bigger and the lugs don't look big in comparison. On something like the Club Campus where the there's more metal in the case and lugs, the long lugs stand out more and I'm less of a fan. I'm currently wearing a 36 mm deep pink Club Campus (a pink and purple loving friend had a birthday party last night so my outfit was "how much pink and purple can I put into an outfit and still look sharply dressed) and know a few women on the smaller side that love the design but are sized out because of the lugs.
These Nomos watches are truly incredible! I had an opportunity to see all the new colors while at Watches and Wonders and I gotta say they are spectacular!!
Cons to me; the lug design, Roman numerals and small case size in relation to those long lugs. Pros; the movement is gorgeous, price is reasonable and dials are amazing. I’m so used to swept lugs that these look odd to me.
I loved the Tangente aesthetic but thought that they looked a little plain, and then they blew me away with these releases. I am just miffed that I completely missed the boat on picking one up (by the time public day came around at W&W, they were already sold out according to the reps there, such was their popularity). I do hope that they look at this success and fold some of these designs into their mainstream line-up. The Sardine would be my pick!
OH YES TETRA!!! This is probably going to be the next Nomos I buy!!! I wasn't sure if it was too square... But I tried one on a few months back - it's so quirky and fabulous! Big congrats on owning such a fabulous watch!
@@BrittPearceWatches Oh exciting! Can’t wait to see which model you‘re going to choose. I have the Tetra Duo (slightly smaller with 27mm and gold hands) and it is so gorgeous in person 😍 From looking on the website I was never super into the club campus, but seeing it on you, I can’t stop thinking about it! I also really have to visit Glashütte! Although I am german & live in Germany, I‘ve never been!

Very nice! But I wish they would have done this whole thing with the Club Campus 38 which I like even more than the Tangente. I'm sure I would have gotten one.
One thing keeps me from buying is the repair/service cost. I'm based in Toronto and it could be a hassle to ship to Germany, whereas for a Rolex, I could just go to a local AD whose service fees are VERY reasonable for a luxury brand.
Ouuu now THIS is good to know! I’ll make sure I pass this comment along to the nomos team! This is completely fair! I wonder if there’s something they could do about that! 🤔
@@BrittPearceWatches I sent my Orion back to them for repair maybe 7 years ago. Not sure about the charges now, but I remember being pleasantly surprised at that time at how reasonable the cost was when compared against rates charged by Omega and some local watchmakers (I did some research). Nomos did a great and prompt job, of course. As an aside, I got my Orion with display back from the AD so long ago before all the price hikes, that the price was ridiculously low -- the equivalent of GBP 800. Granted this was long before their swing system, so mine is the vanilla alpha movement.
Love these watches more specifically the Zirkus but not sure about the L2L. I've got a 6.75" wrist. I don't have a Nomos store near me to try on unfortunately. I'm near Toronto.

Britt, do you know if Nomos will offer Nomos Club 36 Endless Summer blue in leather as an option for the strap along with the vegan leather option. Even though I like Nomos, their watches are destined to watch geeks in my opinion.
