How to cook simple Healthy meal - Sweet Sticky Honey Chicken Noodle

  • This is one of the recipes that we are currently using to help our challengers lose weight in our coaching program. This recipe is one of the popular ones among them. Try it!
    Sweet Sticky Honey Chicken Noodle
    For 2-3 servings (480 calories per serving)
    500g Chicken Breast
    3 tbsp Honey
    4 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
    ½ tsp Salt
    2 tbsp of Dark Soy Sauce (Kecap Manis)
    2-3 Chopped Shallot & Garlic each
    ¼ Onion
    ½ Bell pepper
    Mix the chicken well with the marination sauce.
    After that, put the cut onion and bell pepper together into the chicken and mix them well.
    Pan-fry the chicken first for about 3-5 mins each side (depending on the thickness of the chicken), then stir-fry separately the onion and bell pepper so that they are not overcooked and can maintain their juiciness.
    Salsa as condiments
    Ingredients:
    3 Tomatoes (deseed)
    ¼ cup of Onion
    2-3 slices of pickled jalapeno
    Seasoning of Salsa:
    ½ tsp Salt
    ½ tsp Pepper
    ½ tsp Cumin Powder
    ½ tsp Garlic Powder
    Cilantro (according to your preference)
    Cut tomatoes (dessed) and onions into dice shape, cut Jalapeno, and mix them together. Simply add all the seasoning together and the Salsa is ready. Really easy to make!
    Next, for the carbs, you can use bee hoon or other healthier choice of noodle. We are using Wheat Soba this time. Simply boil the wheat soba for 5 mins. Don't forget to rinse with cold water. Together serve it with chicken and salsa.
    You can also add some edamame.
    Arrange nicely the chicken, salsa, wheat soba into the plate and Enjoy....
