I want to second this! The bottom end of the 12v will hold more then the 6.0 and need less to make it solid. Also gas is not an option.

6.0 single cab I am building one myself do king ranch interior fully built they are super quick and a lot of people can relate to it because a lot of people have 6ohs and there's a reason for that!!

5.9 absolutely!! Reliable platform and extremely easy to work on. Then, you don’t have to worry about all the 6.0 problems. It would also be fun to see you build a 5.9 because I have one as well.

I own a 6.0 so I vote 6.0 but I'm a diesel enthusiast as well and I'm looking for a second truck possibly a Cummins, soooooo a 5.9 build would be cool as well to see on the channel.

A 6.0 Ford might be more unique. I think a lot of people build 5.9 Cummins. I might be wrong though because I don’t have any research to back that up with. Either way I am excited to see you build another truck.

2007.5 6.7 Cummins also was pre-emissions as well and they’re certainly capable of big power as well.
Being a GM guy I hate to not see another one lol. My vote is for 5.9 extended/crew cab. I can say 6.0 built with the right turbo can make some awesome sound. Specially if you want to sound like a jet at take off. But even after spending a ton to bulletproof it, I just can't bring myself to put trust in one.

5.9 compound turbo with the works (air, fuel, and reliability) and a built trans is unbeatable if you’re keeping the stock block
You absolutely gotta stay with diesel , and I’m a duramax fan thru and thru , so obviously I wouldn’t mind another dmax . Although, and it pains me to say this , but I think a 6.0 could be fun to watch
5.9 with large single turbo, big injectors twin CP3s and built full manual valve body 48re.
6.0 power stroke for sure, hands down one of the best sounding Diesels and won’t take too much to make it fast.

I’d love to see an 05-07 6.0 power stroke on the channel, that would be so sick to see the build and they have plenty of potential to create a lot of horsepower, and to listen to them scream is just music to my ears
Those are tough options for a replacement truck. I love my Cummins but I had a build 6.0 and it sounded better than just about any other diesel on the road. I agree with some of the others, lots of people building the Cummins on here. Do the 6.0 just to change it up.

5.9 Cummins ! They are definetly my favourite engines to work on cause I havent hade one break yet. Only the injector pump but that was a Bosch unit so you cant blame cummins for that one
I myself have a 6.0 and have never had an issue, I love it to death and the sound you get is like no other Diesel engine from any other manufacturer. Please do a 6.0

1000 horsepower 5.9 Cummins would be a banger for the channel🙌🏼 if you didn’t know Jack Cummins sells OEM ceramic coated pistons with steel ringlans which I’ve used in high horsepower applications just an FYI

5.9 reg cab.. yes everyone is doing them but everyone is also different.. I’d like to see how u would do it and I’m sure it will be a clean looking truck..
A big single (472) single cab 05-07 6.0 with some 7mm hybrid injectors would be a really good setup that would be fun

I love my 6.0 and I loved my 12v dodge. Do a 12v if you go the dodge route. Stock head gaskets on a 12v can hold up to 100psi off the turbo before you even stress them.

Single cab 6.0 powerstroke on 24-12s bullet proof 700+hp with side exhaust to a 6in tip, also tuned as well with big injectors sounds like a perfect daily/race truck for anyone color white on black looks sick or the lairat style trim would look killer💯🧢

Do a single cab OBS Fummins with a allison trans. You get the old school cool factor of a OBS but then you can throw some power at it and make it rowdy with the cummins and allison trans

You can fit alot in a regular cab. We used to fit like 4 people some times 5 people in the cab of my 2008 Silverado. Was a time to be alive...
I’m a cummins guy hands down drive one myself and bout to buy another one. But I wouldn’t mind seein a 6.0. One of the highest HP truck some years ago at scheid was a 6.0 built.
1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie SLT 4X4 5.9L CUMMINS
6.0 bottom ends are pretty strong, Guy down south made 955hp on stock bottom end.
2nd Gen 12V I know it doesn't fall in the "2007+" but could be a great build... But then again 24V 👌🏼
