My wife and I have had matching TERN Link D7i models since about 2018 or 2019. They're sturdy and durable, and provide reliable rides. We bought them in NYC, where we rode in street traffic, in Central Park, and up and down the West Side Highway biking and walking path, going from home (uptown) to work (downtown) and back! We're now located in a southern state, in a more typical suburban neighborhood, and we're still riding our Terns here!
I consider the Tern Verge X11 the greatest bike ever. Fast, comfortable. Great handling. The boss on hills. And can fold up. And the brakes stop on a dime. And damn its a goodlooking bike. People have told me this bike is goodlooking.
I recently exchanged my Riese Muller Nevo for a Tern GSD S00. So far, I have done only 56 miles on my GSD. I like it but my feeling thus far is that R &M exercise better quality control over their end product. E g. The wires to the front light are flimsily made. Add to this a 'ticking' sound in the pedals and a noisy Cargo line motor.

That's awesome to hear! Sounds like you've found your perfect match with the Tern Verge X11.
They are AMAZING bikes! One of the most useful bikes ever made!
No doubt!
My tour bike in Europe is a Tern Joe C21 - not electric. Low end but perfectly workable. I have traveled for many happy years on it. 🚴☺️
Great to hear!
