Well my Lectric etrike came damaged. I contacted the customer service and basically I've to go through so much hassle to correct their mistake. smh. They are blaming the shipping but when I bought from Addmotor my first etrike came in good condition without any issue. I just wanted a folding trike that's why I bought from Lectric. I guess good quality is really expensive these days.
Sorry to hear about your experience. It could actually be a shipping issue, because that’s been happening quite often lately. Glad to hear Addmotor worked out better for you.

It's not all customer preferences... unlike the US, many EU countries have regulated what defines a road-legal ebike... a channel with "ebike" in its name should know that... many of the US bikes would only be allowed on playgrounds or your own property here in Denmark for instance.
Thanks for pointing that out! You're absolutely right, many EU countries, including Denmark, have strict regulations that define what makes an e-bike road-legal, and it’s a important fact that shapes the e-bike market there, unlike the US where rules are more flexible. We’ll keep this in mind. Appreciate your feedback!

These trikes has motor bigger then 200watts are NOT allowed in Australia so why are you advertising these trikes in this country
We didn't make it for any specific country or region, it's meant for anyone who needs a trike. If someone chooses a trike, it means it's permitted in their particular area or country.
The speed motors are not strong enough for speed pedelecs. A rear wheel motor is still superior
Good point. Speed pedelecs need more power than the mid-drive motors provide, that's why rear hub motors still lead in high-speed performance.
The gen4 motor has considerable 'drag' after the assistance turns off at 25km/h, that is not present on other motors like Siemens. It makes pedaling so much more cumbersome. Unless Bosch is getting rid of that drag, the motor of my next bike will be from some other manufacturer...
Your frustration is totally understandable, and you're not alone in feeling this! That drag on the gen 4 motor can be a real downside, especially when it feels like you're fighting the bike past the 25 kmph limit. ...

it will soon

yes, but the range always depends on the ride quality
Where and how do they get the lithium and Cobalt for the batteries? Where do you get the power to charge the batteries? There's no possible way to live through an ice age but you can live through global warming
lithium and cobalt often come from mining in places like Australia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, though companies are working to improve sourcing and reduce reliance on these materials. As for charging, it's typically from the grid, with renewable energy growing as an option.
The staff is helpful, I will say that. When I ordered my bike, I upgraded the brakes. After riding the bike for a few days (hours really), I realized the rear brake callipers were rattling and loose. Then, upon inspection of the front callipers, I found they were loose, too. The computer display also crapped out on me, however, BikTrix replaced it expeditiously. Further, the rear rack and fender are not centred properly either. Bother front and rear spoke relectors snapped off within the first month. I'm not a hard rider and ride on pavement better than 98% of the time. People on traditional bikes pass me all the time...children pass me (thinking of that, it's a little embarrassing...oh well) The bike is nice, to be sure, and the copper colour is beautiful. People stop and admire the bike all the time. The problem is, like with so many (too many?) things today, these bikes are manufactured in China, and that lack of quality will always surface at some point. This is not an exclusive problem to BikTrix, I can't find one e-bike seller that does not import their product from Asia, and mainly China. So it's an industry wide problem.
hope you have an amazing journey ahead with your bike!
@@eBikeInspection - That's my friend. Be safe.
Grizzly is really on fire on the video! 🔥
Yes, the bike is actually on fire!!
only problem is the front tire may slip if you add too much torque while cornering ... on my seeker the front gets less current.. but there is no "asr" or similar .. so it MAY slip
yes, you're right.
I commute with my T line 12speed, I take it on the train and put it under my desk at work. It's simply my favorite bike I own, I am constantly trying to do small upgrades to lighten the already very light weight bike. I never roll the bike on the train or to my car so I have removed the EZ wheels and replaced them with H&H titanium stands instead. Not only does it lighten the bike ever so slightly but makes it so that the bike does not roll side to side on the train. That is my feedback on the Brompton Cheers!
Thanks for sharing your amazing experience with Brompton. Cheers!!
I built a 48 volt 20ah -1500 watt 26'' fat tire snow bike all from Amazon for a $1,000 bucks.. And I don't pedal it either Average top speed is 33mph (have had it up to 36 mpg) $300 26''Ffat Tire Bike $300 1500 watt motor $400 48v 20ah battery to see it check the video on my page So if you don't want to spend a ton of money & can turn a wrench & strip wires You have less expensive options
Thanks for sharing. But making your own bike and buying a ready-built one aren't really comparable.

I bought a secondhand cheapish ebike. I think new it would cost about £1200, bought it for £600 (I think it was about 3 to 4 years old when I got it). I have used it now for about two years now. I cycle 2 to 3 times a week commuting in all sorts of weather, all year round, about a 22 mile round trip. So, not bad.
Fair enough!
Do listen yo this nonsense. Even the lowest 250 watts motor can get you up a steep hill be it around 12 mph with Little effort but thats as fast i can pedal on average anyway. Its the range that is the biggest concern.
Well, we'll accept your first line!! The rest, however, sounds like you're trying to fit your thoughts to match the community. Your concern might be range, while someone else may focus on efficiency or quality components. If there's a particular topic you’d like us to cover, please subscribe, and we’ll make a video for you.
For a minute there I was expecting a sales pitch at the end because the whole video seemed like an advert to put the frighteners on folk buying cheaper ebikes. The more known brands such as Giant, Trek, Specialized or Haibike all have proprietary batteries for their models ! A battery for a Specialized bike won't necessarily fit on a Trek bike ! A cheap £800 bike from amazon may only last a couple of years but it's only £800 ! A £4000+ branded bike may only last a couple of years if mistreated which many of them are. Yes a good service and a new battery may bring it back but at what cost ?
Totally get where you're coming from! It's all about finding the balance that fits your needs. Our goal was just to highlight the pros and cons so people can make informed choices. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
Bought an Analog Motion E-Bike via Indiegogo for 499,- € and within 3 Years and roughly 4000km no unexpected issues.

Astagfirullah brother
I have 4 'cheap' ebikes and so far so good. If you can call just over 1K cheap anyway. They are all from China, 2 have unbranded batteries. One of the unbranded batteries is near 7 years old and has done over 5000 miles. It is just as good now as the day I bought it. I have never even serviced any of the bikes, not even changed the brake pads yet! Maybe I am just lucky?
My $550 ebike has a bent frame after just 600 miles. I imagine quality improve substantially over $1,000.
@@nickeitsert7222 What bike? Ebikes are far more expensive in the UK than US so a 1K bike here is probably only a $500 bike in the US.
Yes, you're. And every budget option isn't that bad
In most cases
@@eBikeInspection I do a TONNE of research beforehand. I make sure to only buy LG, Samsung or Panasonic batteries now and I only buy Bafang motors etc. I read all reviews and make sure I can deal with any possible failure myself. I think if you know what you are doing and are able to do bike repairs yourself then budget bikes can work. It is extremely rare so you are right the majority of the time. Most budget bikes are trash and the sellers are conmen imo.
I got a decently cheap one from a supermarket and I'm doing well enough with it. The only problem where two punctures on the chamber, but I don't use it daily.
thank you for sharing the experience, hope your bike won’t cause you any more problems...
I think I'm the only person who ever watched this

Why should we spend money and support those made in China rip-off? It’s so unethical.
Bosch is way too expensive and too low power...
you have any better option?
then what should we pick?
The peak power of the Avinox system is 1000 watts not 850 as you have quoted .
"In the special Boost mode, it churns out up to 120 Nm of torque and 1000 watts peak power. In the normal support mode, on the other hand, it delivers 105 Nm of torque and 850 watts peak power." You can definitely cross check.

Hello thanks for this bit of information on this video. I specifically was looking to see where the Sweet Spot of pedaling was on this bike with assistance and he gave me a good clue that it was around 22 to 23 mph. That means most likely it's going to be an effort and work to get it to 28. I will soon take one for a ride to make a final decision if this is the bike for me.
@DM-qe3ci Thanks, hope you'll like it
Stupid AI generated BS. Unsubbing.
tell us the issues you found, we'll try to solve them...
Get a dual motor. No question. I have a Keteles K800 Pro, dual motor 3000 watt for $1200. Once you try a dual motor you will never want a single motor again. I'm in Pennsylvania, we have suck big hills. My dual motor lets me ride my bike all over.
Oh! Thank you for sharing the experience
@@nicholasglade4572 same thoughts here ... I have a seeker26 (dualmotor 26 inch fatty).. and using one or two motors makes such a big difference ... but it's only for experienced riders ... front tire may slip if you are not careful with the throttle (to much torque and you fall down on the ground if you do that while cornering).. on my bike the pedal assist only uses the rear motor and hand throttle uses both motors... if you remember that in every corner it's safe.. if not... OUTCH
All of my scooters are dual motors and if you want any power that's what you need.I've never had any issues. You just have to realize most of your weight is distributed to the back, so it will be the front tire that breaks traction.Be careful in corners and take off it goes.
this guy said scooters lol
do you think scooters and bikes work similarly when they have dual motors ?
maybe he's just talking about how things work
Rather amusing to see pins in Greenland and Alaska on the map illustrating international growth of Brompton. Yeah, I’m sure there are huge sales of folding bikes in Juneau and Nuuk. 😅
