The coolest part of the E-Day trailer that almost nobody seems to have caught is once Dom catches Marcus it starts to slowly play the piano section of Mad World, an awesome call back to the very first Gears trailer.

Judgement was a fine game and they have done E-Day Gears in the Raams Shadow DLC for Gears of War 3, I'm just confused why nothing was shown for Gears 6 or Gears of War 2 remake. Why would they announce a completely different game instead of Gears 6?

8/10 showcase, Xbox really nailed it this time. It's been YEARS since I've watched a showcase where I left with a positive opinion on more than 1-2 games. Even the stuff that was "meh" to me wasn't bad, more that it just wasn't my sort of game. No Halo is a huge bummer though, but also not surprising.
Honestly kinda glad it wasn't there. For YEARS, xbox has relied on Halo to carry some showcases, so happy to see we've moved on from that. No halo, no forza, and it was still an A tier showcase for me (would've been S tier if Gear of War gameplay was shown, but tbh I'm not even disappointed about that)

The "framerate" that you speak of for South of Midnight isn't the framerate, but an animation style that mimics stop motion animation. It's what Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse used to tell it's story.

I think both things can coexist. We can be excited and satisfied with what's coming to Xbox with this great Showcase and we can be upset with the stupid decisions of the past like closing Tango and how they just lied. One thing does not eliminate the other.

Really have to appreciate how casual/positive this was. A lot of people usually start complaining and react very negatively at the usual service games or at games that are not for them. It's nice seeing some that understands that while some of us dont play any of them but not every game is going to be for us and we dont have to complain every time.

During the FTC trail last year they said they will not be raising the price of Game Pass. If you had Game Pass you would have noticed, they did raise it just before then by $2 for Game Pass Ultimate. So it was already raised in price for the ABK games going into Game Pass.

Really have to appreciate how casual/positive this was. A lot of people usually start complaining and react very negatively at the usual service games or at games that are not for them. It's nice seeing some that understands that while some of us dont play any of them but not every game is going to be for us and we dont have to complain every time.

THIS is what gamepass is supposed to be, a subscription with GOOD GAMES, not the sane generic farming sims every month with "new" additions that used to be on gamepass a while back, it feels like im going crazy checking the lineup each month

Not sure what you're talking about. I've had to buy a fair number of games that left Game Pass because I've been too busy playing other games in Game Pass to get to them.
This was an incredible showcase and the Gears of War trailer gave me goosebumps
Man after all the recent negative press surrounding Microsoft, I was thoroughly impressed with this showcase. The last few years of gaming has been pretty dull, but things seems to be looking up.

It's just hard to tell the difference between art style and the game actually lagging. It those look good though I'm intrigued by it.

During the FTC trail last year they said they will not be raising the price of Game Pass. If you had Game Pass you would have noticed, they did raise it just before then by $2 for Game Pass Ultimate. So it was already raised in price for the ABK games going into Game Pass.
