@@zacharystaines a lot of the bigger TH-cam retro gamer channels are stepping down because things have just changed so much and kids, family, work etc takes people away from the hobby. It’s a really sad thing to watch and experience as well because they have been such crucial parts of the community. Check out early angry video game nerd or early metal Jesus, pat the nes punk, my life in gaming etc. some are staying but it’s tougher. You are the new hope
I'm 41 and Xbox 360 was my fave system ever Atari was mind blowing was never a fan of Nintendo, Nintendo 64 was breathtaking, PlayStation was convenient ps2 was okay Xbox was dope and next Gen systems are to transactional. The Xbox 360 has my heart I played through good and bad times I'll miss the customized os and marketplace it truly gave playstation a run for it's money.The greatest console there is was and ever will be
@@sweaty_shooter7354the PS5 and Series X still have a lot of great features. Especially the Series X. I have over 150 OG Xbox and Xbox 360 games I play on my series X everyday and they run and look much better than they do on the 360. I still keep my 360 for attachment reasons but it’s completely and 100% obsolete if you have a series X!!! (Minus the few games that don’t work but that’s the developers fault)

The 360 was such a game changer for us, I remember playing so many demos until eventually getting the full version of those games. It’s really sad that the time for the 360 has passed

The first time i played Minecraft and Halo was on my old childhood 360 i had tons of other games but i remember those two the best. i miss it was such a solid console Its design was also so cool. whenever i see a 360 i just get hit with a wave of nostalgia. Im devastated that Microsoft is finally ending the 360 RIP it was a legend of a console you shal be missed.

God I miss split screen gaming. It brings back memories of my PS2 when me and my best friend played PS2 games that had 2 player mode. It was so much fun.

I got a PS5 later last year after not having a console since the PS3 and I was so excited to play some split screen and I was sooo disappointed to see that there are basically no split screen games anymore, and I can't even play PS3 games on it either!

The Xbox 360 was my teen years, I had the Xbox 360 Core 4GB and it lasted me a few years till it fried, later on I got the Xbox 360 Slim a week after release at I still have it today and it's still fun to play on it 😊.
the 360 slim is easily my favorite console of all time
I bought the Slim also sometime in November 2010 and it lasted a long time.

i grown up with 360 played when i was like 5 or 6 on left 4 dead 2 gta4 call of duty black ops the 360 will always be nostalgia to me im 20 this year the years have gone so fast
I remember first introducing FPS games to my gf who had limited gaming history. Fortnite was first to grab her attention, but the first game she really latched onto was halo. Still playing halo together weekly to this day ❤

I managed to get a xbox 360S for 28$ with Kinect and a few games ended up buying more games on eBay totally worth it. been playing it more then my ps5 lately
Oh I’m currently playing march madness 10, ncaa football 14 and my 7 year old daughter has found the love of dance central 1 & 2 on the Kinect. It is still an amazing machine.
Its funny that you mentioned facial animations being better now (and i dont blame you considering the game that you were playing (AC2), but we haven't gotten a game with better facial animation than L.A Noire, a 360/PS3 game released in 2011.

Still got my 360 and yes some games have not aged well but a vast majority still hold out. Every time the boot screen kicks in I get a feeling of nostalgia. I'm currently playing wolverine origins which is very good and my next game is Transformers fall of Cybertron. Honestly if you used to have a 360 and got rid it would be worth picking up another for cheap.

I was still using my 360 until around 2019 as I did not really have any other consoles but I sure as hell had some fond memories playing forza motorsport spilt screen with my friends after school :)

I went back to the old gen consoles because their were so many good games and nostalgia, anytime I hop on that childhood air is still there and finally being able to play the games I couldn’t afford.
I recently went out and got a new Xbox 360 and even ps2 in the last year or 2 ( thanks microplay stores 😂). I have a ps4 and are planning to get a ps5 soon but I have to say hell yeah I still love the Xbox 360 and it’s games. BO2 is legendary. Personally I like hack n slash games ninja gaiden series, metal gear rising, the darkness 1 and 2, darksiders series, DMC and more. Halo of course honestly if you haven’t experienced the Xbox 360 yet and your a gamer id recommend it
Xbox 360 was my first console and my first game on it when gta 5 when I was 5, I have the 2005 Xbox and it still works fine I this day, it’s really dusty and some buttons on the console such as the power button and the sync button but the controller buttons still work and a play my 360 all the time
I remember playing Kinect Adventures back in 2011 when I first got my Xbox 360 as a gift, and when Minecraft had its Xbox 360 port and I would just go Sisyphus mode grinding the trial until it kicked me out after finishing the time limit, hard to believe it's coming to an end

Bought one of these about a month ago. Been wanting to play my old games again. Been having a blast. Love my PS5 but the games today in my opinion just can't match the games from that generation. Most games today are made with profit in mind first. Games back then were made with passion in turn getting the profit. Some of them (Fight Night champion, the FEAR's, Gears of War etc.) still hold up today and are a blast to play.

I had a 360 at the time and used it to play call of duty, borderlands, halo, gta, and resident evil. Then 10 years later I discovered there are all these unique action and role playing games I never even knew about at the time and now I really want to collect and play since that was such a good time for gaming.
My favorite games from the console were Halo 3, GTA 4, Oblivion, and Fallout 3.

If you have a Series X/S or Xbox One you should play your backwards compatible games there. They often have 4k support and frame rate boosting!

Most Xbox 360 games are also on PC (Windows and sometimes Linux), with the PC versions running maxed out on only a 2GB graphics card.
One of the greatest gaming consoles ever. I loved the Hd graphics it gave us after the PS2. The online gaming was superior even though we had to pay for it. I love the Xbox 360; I even got the 360 E 2 years ago.
I was introduced to Minecraft in 2017 by the Xbox 360. Although i have an Xbox One, I probably spend more time on my Xbox 360, even today. It runs its games better.
