- Springfield Just released the new Hellcat Micro compact to the market.. but can it hang with the big boys? I have never owned a Springfield Armory pistol, but, after seeing your review and seeing others on you tube, and reading about the Hellcat, I will definitely entertain the purchase of a Hellcat. I feel they were introduced early to the public, as one would think they would have saved it for the Shot Show in Vegas in January 2020. This makes me think that maybe they introduced it earlier, because most probably the other manufacturers of "Micro" pistols have other surprises up their sleeves. For example I just read about the Sig P365 SAS this morning. What an ingenious idea for those of us that throw the "Micros" into our pockets of our jacket every once of a while. The extended magazine wobble or wiggle has me perplexed? Did you call them? I was happy to see your grip in reference to your left index finger on the trigger guard, as I have done that with the "Micros" as well, on many occasion. Otherwise, your true, honest, and no "Bull" opinions and thoughts, were well accepted and well appreciated by myself.

Yep, never wanted a Springfield although I shoot my couple friends' very well. Top heavy and grip safety thing not to mention made out of USA. but looking at the Hellcat and the sig the past 2 weeks in 2 different shops..I kept going back to the hellcat...and broke down and bought it. Mag release, which isn't mentioned much, is much more natural to use for me. that Triangle angled inward on the Sig, didn't/doesn't do it for me. that might have been the last kicker when going down the list of pros/cons of both. Xtra round count, brighter sights, slightly bigger handle, textures not a huge difference but liked the Hellcats More of it, and the triggers were pretty close. Time will tell. Buddy went with the Sig (USA all the way)...so we can shoot both/enjoy and critique both now. So it's the red headed stepchild to all my MPs...which are still Awesome.
I noticed you groups got way better the more you got comfortable with it. It was like that with my Walther PPS M2. My beefy hand had to get used to it and get a feel for it but once it did I loved shooting it.
I love mine the trigger is awesome. The sights are fantastic And the accuracy was surprising. Had a little trouble finding a holster. found one through We the People. $33
Although it's not as bad as a Glock trigger, it will be the first thing I replace once aftermarket comes in for it
Making room in the safe for my XDS .45 and getting a Hellcat. I can make some hits at 60 yards with my XDS .45 ACP but I like the capacity of the Hellcat vs the XDS. I’ve concealed carried a Full size XDM-9 with the 19rnd mag but this should be much easier and comfortable.
The hellcat actually feels like much better quality than their XDs and XDS..which always seemed to feel cheap. Not to mention look and feel top heavy and the grip safety. Hellcat looks good and finally convinced me to get one over the Sig. Still love my Shield but 4 Xtra rounds in a slightly smaller package is pretty neat. And it was about time I ventured out away from MPs...but it had to be something that just popped to me and this did it. Time will tell once I shoot it a lot.
Those mags are a **!?*% to get all the rounds in? The answer is an Uplula mag loader. I cried like a little girl trying to get that last round in.
Until I used an Uplula. Quick and painless? I bought 2 HellCats, and extra mags off Gunbroker. FANTASTIC little pistol!
Way harder loading 365 mags. Hell at is easy in comparison
I'm sure someone asked in the comments, but just in case, it doesn't come with all those goodies for the regular Joe. Just a cardboard box a manual and two magazines.

The Sig P365 is EXCEPTIONAL .. I shot a Hellcat yesterday...The Hellcat is a little better . What you do with your dollars is your business. I have been reading up on the Springfield FIASCO. OMG Springfield that was some messed up stuff you all did...
don't know all the details....so I Like the Hellcat. Springfield is arming many people. People vs Noone, and with higher capacity firearms/firearms. That's my take right now choices
A gun in a safe is nearly useless in a home defense situation in my opinion...

Those Crossbreed holsters SUCK really bad. I had one for my 365 and I returned it a week later. Just a horrible holster.
I wanted one but they was on back order where I live might be a year before I get to touch one . Where I live they can't give away p365.
The SIG P365 - one of the most popular carry guns on the market can not be given away where you live??

Jason, did you get to keep that Springfield pistol and gift package? If so, where is your FTC disclaimer clearly stating such?
I stated that it was sent to me from Springfield...Springfield does not sell firearms directly to customers. So it was given to me was the only logical conclusion. SA sent it to me with no obligation to do any kinda of video, written or spoken review. I did a video of this product noting positive and negative attributes and risks of a newly release firearm. The Springfield Hellcat is more Glock like than XD like and that = success. I don't like *Springfield's & Rock River's lobbying & politics* so
I will not buy from them again. But seeing the gun industry in this video likes the gun (they like all guns, good & bad) I am sure the
Hellcat will be bought enough to make money for the industry.

- in the US Navy (some men were faithful to their wives, some were not)
and
- at the university (some students went to bible study, some students went to the bar).

I don't think y'all followed up with the company after the scandal. They ended up dropping the one guy that fucked up, spent tons on 2a groups, funded defeat of the bill, and withdrew their products from dicks sporting goods.

What’s happening here........I’m just saying, NO ONE has ANYTHING to say negatively about this Gun..WOW..I mean it must be perfect....I own the Glock 43 and 43 X as well as the P365 and 365 XL..now, you can find all over the internet the negative about both Gun...Which is cool and yes there are issues with both.. but the Hellcat wow, all the reviews are saying its perfect and NO one has yet to pick up a spent casing to see if there’s a drag like on the Glocks and Sig.. I’m no one “fan man” i buy what i think is best for me....but I’ve never seen anything like this.....wow
I guess it came with a disclaimer... “only good things to say about this Gun and you can keep it”... there are to many “perfect comments” being said about this Gun...
We stated in the video that we didn’t care for the sights and the magazine extension was poor craftsmanship. However all and all I liked the pistol. It did have a lot of good attributes.

It has primer drag, no surprise, small pistols are famous for it.

There is no primer drag on this weapon. The marks being left on the primers reflect the fact that the striker is in more of a wedge-shape than a pin. This shape causes a rectangular detent to be left on the primer. Depending on how stiff the primer is this will be more or less pronounced. This much sturdier design should help to eliminate the chance for striker break on this pistol.

mag release on 365 not as natural for me and the small sights didn't do anything for me. small round difference OK. Grip better to me on the Springfield. Absolutely Wanted to Like/want the Sig more...didn't happen. Kept going back to the Hellcat in the shop when comparing. ...and actually just broke down and picked up the Hellcat. Buddy got the 365 recently because of the USA thing , which we are both Big on...but I made a decision partly because he got the Sig and we can shoot and have fun with both and see what we really think after awhile.
I traded my Hellcat already. Had problems with the safety catching the frame even with proper finger position. Springfield just blew me off. I'll never buy another Springfield.

It sure looks like you are experiencing a lot of recoil and muzzle rise while shooting but you state that you dont. I call BS according to the video part of you shooting.

This gun is not that great. The polymer on the right and left side for the handle is so thing it literally flexes.👎 Also at the front of the gun the polymer is way to thin and bends in. And the trigger sucks big time.
