- For the homebuyers who booked flats at Jaypee Greens Wish Town in Noida, Sector 128, their dreams of having their own home have turned into a nightmare as delays in possession and litigation have taken over a decade. In 2017, insolvency proceedings were initiated against the builder, Jaiprakash Infratech Limited (JIL), when it failed to deliver the flats on time and defaulted on loans. With that, the hard-earned money of over 17,000 homebuyers across 19 JIL projects got stuck in the vicious cycle of litigation.

In kolkata where I recently bought a flat, the flats are sold when making RCC construction, we searched for almost one month but no ready to move flats are available. Luckily the fact is our builder is honest and we took all legal help from lawyers before buying it.

Hi Quint news. Please cover news of AVJ Heights in Greater Noida. There are same flats which have been sold multiple times (dual, triple sale) to 4-5 people by the builder. So builder sold the same flat to 1 buyer, then 2nd buyer, then 3rd buyer and all of them got loans for the same flat by different banks and builder ran away with money. Now who is the true owner when all of then feel cheated with no registration.
There us no possession of flat , no registry done and on top of that UP Government hasn't done much to help. There are 1200 + buyers and multiple other parties who gave lost their whole life savings because of this.
Multiple suicides have happened and murders have happened in this society but no media wants to cover this.

In Noida you will see countless projects that has been abandoned uncomplete by builders. Its a really pathetic situation.
Request all homebuyers stuck with Jaypee to share this maximum.
I booked in 2010...Jaypee Kasa Isle....
This has made me suffer a lot , many sacrifices have been made as they have failed to deliver my house till date..
So sad to listen to this. Same is the case with Amrapali. The truth is nobody will get anything unfortunately.

I have booked in Raheja Krishna Affordable Housing project in Sohna Haryana in 2015. Builder took 85% of money and never delivered any thing. Tower not even started….

@@WR-NC-ASPL People pay in advance for early bird Advantage. I purchased 2 Flats for 25, 30 Lac in 2020, they are worth 60+ Lacs each today projected to go up to 1 CR in next 3-4 years. Rentals of 16-18k today and projected to go up to 30-32k in next 3-4 years.

This has happened for thousands of years and will continue to happen for the next thousands of years. Even though you and I will exist only for next few years.

this is how the world works. nothing unique about India.
My family is facing a similar issue, we had invested in Kensington Park Heights back in 2010, its been 14 years and they continue to scam the people. So many things have happened ever since, RERA has been formed and many others things, but the issue prevails.
I cannot even imagine the amount of hardship the home buyers are going through. I really hope they get justice soon.
Its always the best to buy ready possession flat with no risk but still justice need to be served to them
Not sure why they are paying EMI's, should have stopped it post 2014 as its banks headache to auction it and they could have invested their efforts in something else.
because banks will come and threaten you if you do not pay.
If somehow they get possession in future, it will get auctioned at a throw-away price of bank EMIs are defaulted. You can do that only if you are 100% sure flats will not get completed.

Supertech Upcountry (Yamuna Expressway) buyers are also going through the same pain... Nothing from NCDRC or NCLT. No relief from anywhere. It's been 12 (or more) years.
INDIA is becoming a lawless land. It's a big shame that the government is unable to withhold the interest of the public. Builders are committing frauds from one city to another yet there is no hold on them.

it should be a rule that only finished houses can be sold.
I pray all those stuck in such situations should get their houses soon.
I have invested in June 2010 for a flat in Kasa Isles by paying 95% and still it seems a distance dream to get the flat

After retirement, you should have moved to a smaller city and built your own house it also cheaper, and you own land and building.

my father has purchased a land in integrated project by shree raj infra- "gomti estate phase 3" - lucknow in 2014 , paid full money even have registration paper of land but still we have not yet got possession of land.
Even now they are selling land don't know how 😢
The project owner --> Rakesh pandey is a politician earlier BSP party --> now BJP party he is enjoying lavish lifestyle and still more than 200+ people are waiting for possession .
This is sooo disturbing....

Under-construction properties are only for property investors, who are willing to take some risk for huge gains. Otherwise, it is better to buy a smaller flat instead of buying the one under construction.

Safer that buy any flat only after the registered. It's a little higher cost but fixed.

How can you expect the government to punish the builder when it (or the concerned political party) is a party to the builder's wrongdoing.
Same happened with us in ghaziabad, we have bought a flat in SARE homes, it was just also stucked and now our money is also lost.

Biggest betrayal for home buyers, I have also booked in 2010, paid 95%.
I am another sufferer - booked in 2011 and do not know when we will get our flat. The builders, banks, govt institutions, courts have all let us down.
Same had been for Shristi Apartment Lucknow a project under LDA which also took 9-10 for buyers to get possession
Patel neo town is also a notorious builder in noida techzone 4. Many buyers booked the flats in 2010 and still only a few towers have been built.

Lotus Arena Sec-79, even after NCLAT has ordered to construct flats using Purvanchal builder still no construction has started because Noida authority is not allowing. Govt itself is impeding justice. Why should poor home buyers who paid every installment on time suffer? Why should we go from court to court, years on end just to get our houses constructed? What is our mistake? Investing in a flat in Noida is a nightmare and life time punishment. I wish somebody guided us about this. We have been fleeced of our hard earned money. There is no hope for justice.
Two of my worst investments have been with Jaypee. One in wish town and other in Sports. Both down the drain, and no recourse. What are the courts doing, seemingly being mismanaged by the banks and Jaypee?
We were also about to invest in this project. Thank God we were saved.

It is indeed frustrating. I have been waiting endlessly for development of the Country Homes plot areas sold by Jaypee as a dream, close to Sports City Formula Track.
Now there seem to be no dream, no sports, and only deers running around in the bushes.
Don’t know when the homebuyers will get their home which were booked 12 to 14 years ago and have paid 90% to 95% more than 10 years ago.
Many home buyers are Paying EMI and rent.
Very very sad situation for home buyers of JP Wishtown NOIDA.

We bought a house in Supertech Upcountry in May 2013 and paid close to 80-85% till Feb 2017. 6 years passed by since 2017 and our tower's outer structure construction has not been completed. 11 years since we purchased this house. Still waiting. We took bank loan.
That is why it is always better to buy ready to move flat

What's RERA doing? Sleeping? The government must step in as they did by asking nbcc to complete some incomplete projects in noida, I guess.

@@amitbrahmo What you are saying is the ideal scenario - but the bitter reality is that the governments' priorities are elsewhere. We have been witnessing / suffering first hand the lack of inaction by the state and central govts.

All laws favor the builder.
you think you paid the money to builder. but in reality, a good amount is being paid to political parties through bonds. and there is lot more going with Noida and greater Noida authority. i can confirm this as i was a part of this back in 2013-16

Really unfortunate we are waiting for over 12 , 15 years for our flat and i am still paying rent as the entire savings is blocked with Jaypee and my father is now 70 plus and we lost our mom but our dream to shift in to our flat is still a dream .
So sad.
I hv booked in 2012 n after 12 Yrs of booking still waiting for my Home....IBC which everyone in Govt circle projecting as big success , failed to solve this matter for last 6-7 Yrs... May need UP n Central Govt special intervention now...

I remeber the day, i went to buy apartment here, i took booking amount with me , which was around 12 lacs way back in 2012, just before booking agent said rate increased 200 inr per sqf, and all of sudden this property went out of my budget. THANKS TO GOD, WHO SAVED ME.
Sadly Govt also not supporting common man who have invested their day night hard earned money. Request govt to pls help.

I deplore the slow legal process adopted which is moving at snail’s pace. Government shall immediately stall such process and ensure rapid construction utilising Money collected thru us via taxation (rather than giving freebies & subsidies) and also taking over the assets of JAL & JIL .
It’s a request from this channel if they can find a way where all those people who didn’t got the possession in Delhi NCR, can get all together and do protest? We need a strict law for this
Similar issue with Shubhkamna buildtech project in sector 137. It’s been 13 years still things are pending in nclt and nclat. The builder is enjoying stay in jail and has no remorse. All money has been siphoned and no report on financial audit has been shared to make recovery from them.
We are facing the same Unibera Developers, Greater Noida sector-1

This is the reason along few more I always prefer buying resale. Under contraction property is a pain, simple thing like main entrance from change from main road to a Gali by things wrap up. Ready to move or beat is resale tried and tested
