Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

Starting early is simply the best way of getting ahead to build wealth , investing remains a priority . I learnt from my last year's experience , I am able to build a suitable life because I invested early ahead this time .

In fact, I had no prior experience or understanding when I began investing in 2018, but by the end of 2019, I had made a profit of almost $750k. All I had been doing was going by what my financial advisor had told me. This demonstrates that all you truly need is a professional to assist you; you don't even need to be a great investor or put in a lot of work.

One of the best things I did this year was to quit smoking completely after being an addict for nine long years. I had never stayed without smoking for over one week in these years. But I have abstained from smoking from 1st Jan 2024. Not even a single smoke. I had heavy withdrawal and temptation during the first 7-10 days, but later turned out okay. I substituted my habit by replacing it with sugarless tea from the places I used to smoke from (I chose the better evil temporarily). Now, even those are automatically reduced.
My advice to smokers that wanna quit: just don't gradually stop it. It never worked out for me. It goes like the stock market charts. While you feel good, the chart appears to be bearish, but as soon as stress levels rise, the chart would start the bull run.
Instead, stop once and for all. Say goodbye to smoking.
How did I stop immediately? I prepared myself for about a month until Jan 1st by always referring to cigarettes as "Cancerettes". This gave me a much needed sense of danger and urgency. It worked out pretty well so far. No temptations now even when I am with people that smoke around me. I still refer to it as "cancerettes".

Yours is one of those in tops. Simple but so deep and such high integrity. I wish all youngsters would watch them in their teens. Everything has a reason. For you it seems to be your parents and your upbringing. Keep it on..

From lst 6months what I have started doing is to live one day and focus on that particular day at a time , and due to that I have saved a lot of money , started eating healthy, started making my own breakfast, started doing physical exercise and recently started weight training, my productivity has increased a lot and due to that professionally too I have improved and which had lead to financial profits , my relationships with my wife and my parents has improved, it's been 6 months I have not touched alcohol ( I was not an alcoholic but used to drink one or twice a week especially on weekends which use to suck my energy and due to that I was not able to give time to my family and close friends
So ya anyone who is a bit lost in this fast pace world , just take some time for yourself and start focusing on one day at a time , you would definitely love it after a point of time ❤😊

      Q. I am meeting girls for marriage but I can’t decide whether to marry a working woman or a non working woman?
Mostly working women are feminists which scares me and It would be difficult to live in Tier-1 city with non working woman.
Can you suggest your thoughts on this?

Peaceful life started when we understood each other nature which took 4 years and we are love marriage couple. One habit I would recommend is that straight your priorities and don't compromise. Wrong partner gives more stress than having no partner. No compromise on personality is the key to success. Also noone would remain same throughout life that also remembers, all the best

I have a habit of preparing a monthly forecast of my expenses on monthly basis. I am a salaried person so I know the income is fixed , I plan my expenses accordingly and also add my expected gains from investment, interest on saving and then compute savings. In month end I perform variance analysis and try to improve my forecast for the next month and also having control on my expenses.

I always try to maintain the most of the points from the time I start earning. Still, my earning is very low to survive like a middle class family in a metro city. But saving money smartly by following most of your points helps me to track my income, expenses and savings.
When I say to some of my friends or brothers that today I forgot to write my expenses or related to savings, they laugh.

Habit no. 8 and 3 is very imp.
Abhi abhi shaadi hui hai meri so ab pta chalne laga hai ki kaise hum save kr skte hain.
Last week vegetables bahut less liye as compared to this week and no fruits aur iska kharcha rs.490 tha. This week humein pata chala ki Tuesday market lagta hai aur waha sasta milta hai. Humne last week se jyada vegetables + fruits laye and total was rs. 310. We saved almost rs. 180. So in a month we will save rs. 720. Just because we started buying from a particular market on a particular day saved us rs. 700. In a month

One habit I made for myself and recommend to everyone is that I will save a certain fixed amount monthly no matter what happens and be constant on it, and when you're comfortable you can increase it graduallly. It is not compulsory to be a big amount but in my opinion "It is not the amount that matters, consistancy is the key" 😊

It is to be mentioned that I have no credit also (#9). This helped to create a saving. Recently I'm trying to follow #7 (Thanks to financial expenditure tracking). What I feel is, if we don't keep an extreme mindset, it helps a lot in the long run.
It shouldn't be like at one phase we only focus about saving money and at other we spend carelessly. Observing and taking account of this habit can help us not only fulfilling our needs and wants to some extent but also helping us maintain decent savings.

Instead of saving money in a lumpsum amount on a monthly basis try saving it in an equivalent amount on a weekly basis. For eg: if you are saving ₹4k on a monthly basis you are gonna save up ₹48k annually, whereas if you save ₹1k every week you can save up ₹52k annually and this results in a savings of an extra month i.e. ₹4k.

Buying in bulk has been detrimental to my house. We buy items which are used only once/twice and then these items end up expiring and we need to throw them. For example, fancy sauces because we wanted to make subway sandwiches at home. It's been 6 months since we last used those sauces. A number of vegetables end up getting wasted as we are unable to use them in time etc etc.

For an individual, it will cost around 1500-2000rs on only fruits ( that's how I spend)
200rs/Kg - apple ( 6-7 pieces) - if one everyday and it will cost around 1000rs for month.
      50rs/dozen - banana - if 3 every day then 400rs for month.
