Majorly govt had a target to catch the bad politicians bad businessman or terrorism, they could have directly targeted them through existed CBI, ed, IT and all other institutions usage,, what happened was majority normal people got targeted for sufferings and at last all that conclusion came to a political benefit to ruling party by showing some goosebump action and 8 PM action

The govt could have done the demontization a little later after Digital Payment Mechanism would have gotten much widespread. Then could have just removed the 1000 rs notes slowly over a span of time leaving the 500 notes. Common people & corporates would have used digital transaction gateways for white money. Storing 500 Rs would have attracted the attention of ED, IT & other financial regulatory bodies pretty easily.

I lost him when he said that money became white when it came back to the Reserve Bank of India. It doesn't. Those who deposited cash still owe an explanation if and when the tax man catches up.

    • @harsimran1
      @harsimran1 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

No money came back... why would it? It was earned in the Indian Economy. People hoarded cash. It's not illegal. Why should people have to declare it? Tax is a voluntary system in the US, I believe it would be the same in India. But once you pay tax, you have become a voluntary participant in their system and now you must play their game and pay the fines or go to jail.
Anyway, all these attempts by any government party are for the same group of elite that harbour worldwide controlling interests. India is trying to ramp up "vasudhaiva kutumbakam" just have a look at the meaning of the word and what it means, and what they're trying to achieve with it. And then remember when Aadhar rolled out, which was declared to be illegal and a voluntary gimmick by the supreme court, until the PM's government fought viciously with the Supreme Court to get it accepted by creating new laws in the parliament to give it a form of a valid ID. Supreme Court had initially ruled it is not a valid ID and cannot be made mandatory. But alas, 99% of Indians don't understand law or how to use it.
If you look at the new trending government's attempts to create "vasudhaiva kutumbakam" remember that when Aadhar was launched, many people on ration cards were unable to secure their daily meals from the government because they didn't get their Aadhar card. As a result, people died! If you believe "vasudhaiva kutumbakam" that we are all "one family" how could you let even one person die because you wanted them to enroll into Aadhar?
All these processes are linked to the world and have a superior controller. India is just a participant in someone's scheme of things.

My opinion on the points discussed in the interview:
    1. The reason there was indecision in the UPA government, and Mr. Manmohan Singh couldn't rule over the ministers maybe because he was never intended to rule over them. The ministers who were put in charge were by the ruling party to share the power between the senior leaders of the party with little to no oversight by the PM. It may have been done so to keep senior leader happy until the party could bring the leader who has born with the birth right to rule over those senior members of the party.
    2. The PMO's approval is required for the decision taken by other ministries maybe because the PM understands that the people have put him in charge of the government and feels that it is his responsibility to make sure no minister falls out of line, maybe trying to avoid the mistakes of the government ruled before him.
    3. The Demonetisation was executed poorly maybe because they simply couldn't consult with everyone who are qualified enough to guide them before the decision was taken simply because the people guiding the government could very likely be involved with black money themselves and could leak the information even before the decision was taken, hence defeating the sole purpose. Perhaps the abrupt decision to implement it might have been influenced by someone getting the information out, so they announced it before it got leaked.
I am entitled to my opinion, so does everyone else. [I highly doubt that anyone would read through this but if you did, then I thank you for your attention. : ) peace.]

@@Mahalakshmi-Khan The point is that the appointment of ECI has always been the prerogative of the rulilng ogvernment of the day sans the recent SC judgement(wherein the CJI was a part of the panel). And even that has been overturned. Hence for somone to say that the credibility of ECI has recently come under threat is intellectual dishonesty at best. But then what else can you expect from closet congressi babus?

For the love of all things! Whataboutism will be the death of this country.
If you're a citizen, hold the party in power accountable. Don't bend over backwards to justify the stupid things they do.

Did it sound like a justification? @justmemyselfandi7760
My bood. Look the point was if some babu of the IAS woke up and told CBI as an insttution was crumbling. To that i would say - Look it has always been. When was it not crumbling? When was it, not a 'caged parrot'. So is it with the ECI.
It's just that i find these retired IAS babus going to town sounding the death knell of institutions post retirement hilarious. I mean who are the ones manning these institutions? Babus of the IAS. Who are an an active accomplice with the party in power for all that is going wrong in the country? And guilty of acts of commission and ommission while in service? The babus of the IAS.And who comes up with autobiographies detailing the wrongs which happened right under their nose? The babus of the IAS. Sorry for putting this way but i dont like suffering fools. Especailly the babus of the IAS.
And when it comes to holding government accountable why should these clowns of the IAS be spared? Was it all Ram Rajya under them?
And though you may difer but politicians are still accountable but these spineless opportunist clowns of the IAS aren't! As someone who has family memebrs in UP and Bihar let me assure you i have no sympathy for these clowns diagnosing a problem post retirement.

In my opinion judicial reform is the need of the hour. They are like obstacles in every amendment whether its good or bad!

Good interview. Many times bureaucrats keep quiet, for want of moral courage or sometimes, what is known as anticipatory administration, one tries to guess the mind of the boss and tries to project a view/opinion, in tune with that guess thus genuine, balanced views get suppressed.

It is important that bureaucracy is kept in control. In fact the ED must check their assets regularly. Most importantly they must know that they are there to serve and not to be served.
