@@corndawgz most likely is. My brother just ordered one today came out to 30k (cad). Just like modern day sports/supercars the base model is really nothing like the fully loaded one. Still what a beautiful set up with the screen. I know digital dashes will age but this one is just so nicely laid out. Well done to them with this. Its like a car on 2 wheels at this point. Everything is super high quality.
@Sherri T[A]P Me!! To Have [S]EX With Me yeah. Really like how manufacturers are moving towards tft dashes, they're really nice. Now, if only they put more money into the software to make them more customizable
I'm sorry to the BMW community who prefer the old dash, but i feel like this dash is what BMW originally intended for their bike to look like in the designs they made. and I love that the headlights are finally symmetrical. and as I understand, this new bike is easier to flip left and right in the chicanes than the 2017-2018 bike. I know some of you guys really just enjoyed the track-inspired functionality that came with the old bike, but I'm not aware of any lost functionality from the old bike to this new one, is there? I honestly believe this new bike is better not just functionally, but cosmetically as well, and that's a good thing, isn't it?
That thing looks mental. Go from 100 to 200+ kph literally "whenever you feel like it"- not whenever there's enough space to do so... A dangerous thing for many people. Who else is saving? :P
I had the last 2018 and I sold it in anticipation of this bad boy. Looks to be a weapon but I’m not sure if I can blow $33K on a bike by the time insurance and a new Helmet are factored in but if I did want that sort of spend the.n perhaps I might want to try a Ducati or go slower on a cafe Style jobbie and just be done with it and give it away as the electric machines will be epic should they ever come. I dunno. If $29K, I’d be in their like a flash but the psychological 30 has me thinking...too much.
@Bernievids - get on board my fellow rider, these price tags will be the new norm as the New Years come, forget a good bike under $20, Ducati already hit $40,000 for the V4R and as long as customer are getting in debt or paying for them, manufacturers will keep increasing their price tag all in the name of bragging rights and the new bike on the block with the most horsepower, rider aids, carbon this carbon that. Is just like cell phones, hitting price tags in 1,500 for a cell phone!!!! Aprilla rsv4 1100 factory is the only one that came with more cc’s Akra exhaust in the same price tag for 2019 and a few extras. I wouldn’t go any higher than 30,000. I’m not a VR46 or MM93 to be wipping my local roads on full leathers going 80 lol.
You know that the street sport bikes are not the same bikes which used in motogp they're totally different machines with different engines and specs. Now in world's super bike championship they use the production street sport bikes, Which this bike made to compete there.
BMW's are just fancy eye candy toys to break your wallet. They will NEVER win wsbk nor MotoGP. They are not as reliable. I've ridden every iteration of the S1000rr so far and I won't buy another . No hate though..good luck to the new owners.
Be me Be noob Never have ridden motorcycle "Which motorcycle should I get?" I ask myself "Whichever one has the biggest and prettiest LCD screen" I tell myself Am I on to something here?
you might be able to find that out by finding the weight of the engine and comparing with that of other motorcycles, and also comparing total weight with other motorcycles as well. As I understand, this bike is easier to flip than the previous generation.
I started to hate how these bike reviews becoming pro racing track days reviews.. I ride for 19 years.. I owned 8 bikes and i never did a track day.. 99‰ of bike riders spend their 99‰ on streats yet most of reviews are on racing track!! its makes no diffrent for us coz if we normal people ride any bike on any track it will feel the same while a daily drive is what ruin our spines and asses.. Its the difference of us putting 20k miles on a super sport in one year or 2000 kiles a year..
@TheRead notice that some countries does not have tracks like the country im in.. Or other countries that needs more than 20 riders and more than 15000$ to use a track for 6 hours.. So its not the main reason for a person to buy a 20k to 30k to use it mainly on tracks..(im not watching an hp4 or a 2019 rr sport or the m package.. Im watching the street model which should be tested on street not on track) no one buys a bike to use it less than 5% of its use.. I used to own a 2013 s1000rr and it was a comfy bike in daily use.. I dont have a car so all my trvavels is on two weels.. Im interested in having 1000cc of this year since i only have a 2015 Dragster 800 rr and an 2016 F3 800rc which im bored of its 150 hp. A normal 1000cc is a street bike so i want it to be tested for what it was made for not what it could do otherwise ill be watching the sport or M package model or Yamaha R1 m.
@TheRead This is a tired argument for 1000cc bikes. Same can be said for most cars on the road. The percent of cars that go > 100 mph vs. how often you actually drive > 100 mph daily. How often are you going to drive 120mph in a Mustang GT on the road? Are you saying you should only purchase a GT to drive on a track once a month?
This is by no means an ugly bike by any measure, but visually, it's more boring to me. Now it just looks like another sports bike. I can't complain because that's not an insult, but I'm not excited either.
still cant win any races.... and just wait all that cam timing shit starts to fail. it will be a headache for riders when they get some miles on them. all this stuff in cars is expensive to repair. ask ford truck owners about their cam phasers that cost $1000 to replace every 60k miles. and you can tell a bmw is a yuppie bike. navigation and phone connectivity on a sportbike. for fuck sakes...what's next, cup holders, headlight wipers, sunglass compartment, wifi, radio with subs and heated seat?
That dash looks sooo good
that dash aint stock 2g's if u want one in ur bike
@@corndawgz false.

The new dash is awesome
I love the design of this new bike... They definently improved its looks a lot...

Apex Ace I'd agree with you.
Old timers want something to badger on about because they need that feeling of superiority.
That dash gives me chills.
Have the 2010 and have just placed an order will be interesting to see one in the flesh whenever they arrive
Is that a concrete dusted oil line all round the track?
I’m booked in for a test ride next week, very excited!
great video guys, I enjoyed it and I think I am ready to pull the trigger on getting me the M Version :)

It's a f***ing MONSTER!!
I had a 2011 s1000rr fkn awsome bike. Insurance was sooo expensive. I sold it and got a 2007 zx10r. Lol.
How do the ergonomics compare to the previous version?
Hell yeah my dream bike can’t wait to get my 2020 m version
oh! it is new S1000RR? very very nice and nice review :)
Can you tell me the top speed of s1000rr 2020??

Nicely done, well-made video. Subscribed.
the design is beautiful, just don't like the colors.. would love to see it in black
Hell yeah 😎
They have it in other colors including black 👍
You can always get someone else to paint it for you, or paint it yourself.
But i love asymmetric head lamps.
yes very nice, but I don't have enough money to buy it
How come BMW not in motogp The bike is so good
As you said, its so good
Man that thing accelerates damn fast

No real need to race in MotoGP. They redefined the litre bike in 09, and probably will again this year
