- No. 14 North Carolina picked up a big win over Syracuse at home, 40-7. Drake Maye led the Tar Heels offensively, as he picked up 4 touchdowns, including 3 through the air. He passed 33-47 for 442 yards and ran for 55 more. Both Kobe Paysour and Nate McCollum racked up 100 yards, with McCollum reaching 135. Tez Walker made his Carolina debut with 6 catches for 43 yards. For Syracuse, Garrett Shrader went 15-21 for 124 yards, as the Tar Heel defense held the Orange to just 216 yards of total offense.

I’ve had a lot of ppl local in my area who still don’t believe that Carolina is a legit threat this year… I hope this one is one to remember and this one is the start to a dominate Carolina run in football. Go heels!
UNC’s only problem is they schedule every year playing teams in their own region early why couldn’t they do what FSU did go to something like the camping world kickoff in Orlando, and play in the first game the number five team in the country early instead of UNC Charlotte?
If only North Carolina played LSU instead of Florida State, we would’ve been in the top four why couldn’t Bubba Cunningham schedule something like playing in the camping world kick off game in Orlando a more key kick off ABC TV nationally televised early game in the country that matters for rankings early like Florida state did instead of somebody like Florida State instead of playing Appalachian or Elon or Liberty or whoever? Why is our athletic Director Bubba Cunningham so enamored with playing the regional local cupcake if you will teams early on instead of the top-five programs in the country at a kick off game which could benefit if we win our ranking early on to compete with teams like Michigan, Ohio state, and Georgia be closer to the top, if you will?

Why does this team just love to win games, and why is this team so incredible in the league of the national powerhouse programs competing to go to the college football playoff why is this team acting like TCU last year? I honestly don’t have the answer this team is special! I wish I had the answer! I think it’s all mental. I think it’s chemistry to be honest this team has a heart it’s up in the brain. It’s honestly something special about this team! Drake is special! It’s just like some people know how to make music play the piano by ear I don’t have any idea! I know that this is not a very good example, but I’m not saying this team is this but Tiger Woods on the golf course just beat everybody!! it’s just like Rory McIlroy knows how to chip a golf ball into the hole out of a bunker at the Ryder Cup. It’s just like Novak Djokovic knows how to beat the heck out of somebody like Carlos Alcaraz in tennis I don’t have the answer other than it’s mental. There is something special about this team that is beyond comprehension besides their mental toughness and grit. North Carolina just has what it takes their football team just has something that comes easy for them. It’s honestly astounding! I mean like anything how do people know how to paint a picture that looks realistic? Or, how do some people know how to conduct the orchestra at a very young age? It’s natural. That’s the best answer I have or if you want to put it another way it’s will this team is determined they have will. Drake is just naturally talented. He’s gifted.

Our defense is as awesome baby as any Roy Williams basketball team this year in our football that is no joke! Kaimon Rucker was born to play football. It came natural for him. He is just a superstar! Rucker is as good as any player for a team like Ohio State. I’m not exaggerating! Our defense is great last year I would argue last year our defense sucked it sucked last year. It’s all world this year! Didn’t you see the Statue of Liberty play at Pittsburgh? If you didn’t, it looked like something a team like one of Nick Saban’s opponents did at his best no exaggeration. Our defense does not suck. We have so much more talent than Drake. We have all World players. You don’t even know!! They are not quite Georgia’s they are not quite Kirby Smart’s but they are almost. If you want to see a team with sorry Defense just look at our sorry NFL team the Carolina Panthers. They suck that’s sorry defense. You’re just a Georgia fanatic. I know. You are the prime example of a Georgia fan I know them. Our team our Tar Heels is every single bit as good as yours. Trust me! It’s just scheduling that makes the difference that’s the only thing a Carolina is so fixated on not going outside the box. We always have to play teams in our own region like Appalachian, and Elon, if we could play in something like the camping world kick off in Orlando against somebody like a number five opponent in the country at first like Florida State did against LSU then we would be number four in the country right now, but no Bubba Cunningham our athletic Director is so fixated on playing our own teams from North Carolina like UNC Charlotte early.
