Their defense is one of the worst in the nation and yet, their offense is #3 in total offense with Drake Maye being the biggest reason. He has legit been going in overdrive to keep their team alive throughout the games. He's balling out. Compared to how USC has been doing this season, Drake Maye would for sure be picked over Caleb WIlliams.

I was at the game as a Tar Heels fan. This game was SCARY for me. We fell always choke in the late 3rd-4th quarter. Really pisses me off. Once we took that to double overtime my heart WAS POUNDING. Defense was doing real good in overtime until they let Duke score. Couple minutes later Duke scores. The two-point try came to action. The look on my face was crying/praying/scared and you could tell. Defense pulls of a miracle on the two-point try for Duke is non-successful. Us Tar Heel fans all cheered a vocals out. We got too storm the field at the end which was just too fun 😂 The best part was when J.J Jones came out the tunnel. We were going to get autographs but did not have a sharpie, I was really bummed, and I think J.J Jones could tell. So J.J Comes up to me and gives him his game worn gloves! I was so happy i was a Great Game at the end of the night.

According to the rules you have to be more than 3 yards downfield to violate that rule. On a 2-pt conversion that is not possible because you start at the 3 yard line. Once you hit the goal line there is no more yards down field, that's it. So it's literally impossible to get that penalty if you go by the letter of the rule on a 2-pt conversion.
Just saddened that UNC dropped out of the top 25. If they had not lost to Virginia, Georgia Tech, and Clemson, and if Louisville had lost some games, there’s always that if, UNC would be playing Florida State UNC would have clinched a berth for the title game in Charlotte next weekend, and maybe just maybe a college football playoff top 5 by now. Unfortunately, UNC didn’t. I don’t know if UVA blew it for North Carolina or if they did it to themselves but it’s upsetting. It is what it is. I guess. The good news is that is indeed the beauty of college football, though you never know what’s going to happen at first. It’s even fun to at least speculate what could have happened even if it didn’t happen but honestly I love college football for this very reason it is the only sporting event in America of the year that a team from California can determine what happens to a team from New York or North Carolina or Texas or Florida. It’s always fun who would’ve ever thought. Louisville would honestly beat UNC in their conference The ACC? Whether you are disappointed, about it mad about it whatever it happened. Honestly, North Carolina has had an incredible season really UNC started out number 10, and yes, everybody on the staff and all the players tried their hardest to make the college football playoff. They really wanted to Mack Brown really wanted to be number four by now he really did he tried his best but that’s a really, really really hard thing to accomplish going undefeated is hard to accomplish. If you are a team like North Carolina or anybody unless you are somebody like Florida State or Washington it’s hard, but he tried because there are so many teams that want to go to the playoff. A lot of teams have to win and lose around the country for weeks we had a great season maybe not what we wanted but we have been competitive in our own right I know we are going to a bowl game we didn’t make the playoff Drake didn’t win the Heisman but again be glad we didn’t suck. Honestly, we didn’t suck like we thought. We really did try hard give Coach Brown credit. Don’t get mad because UNC didn’t do something that fell to our hype that was going to be a longshot, anyway. UNC hung in there. Now let’s go beat State with a bang, and try hard in whatever postseason bowl we end up playing in! Like him, or not, hate Chizik, or Love him, one thing is for sure, we shouldn’t complain the way we do. I believe we have a bright football future ahead of us. Bottom line it’s hard to win all of your games for any team unless you are a Florida State or somebody it’s as hard as making two hole in ones in your life in golf if you are not a pro. Mack Brown has built UNC from basically a dead program to something electrifying I know historically going back 100 years we have always sucked, but Mack 2.0 is different. We are lucky we had Drake, and more QBs to come, whether they land from the portal or recruited the old fashion way, Mack Brown however long he stays there I think will continue to influence the program, and he will influence future coaches with the Tar Heel football program. This game against duke was a keeper. Yes, we lost to Clemson, but this one was a keeper! Mike Elko has done a good job too at Duke, and I believe Duke’s football program has a bright future as well. Go Heels! 🐏 💙

It was a great game but definitely controversial. They should have reviewed that possible interception in the 4th. In my opinion it looked like duke got the ball.
The guy was already down down before the ball was snatched out of his hands.. Either it was an incomplete pass or a completed pass.. Nothing controversial or confusing about it as the TV announcers were making it out to be..
@@kingknights5107 the ball was actually moving so he didn't have complete control of it. If the Duke player gained control before he hit the ground then it's an interception. It was hard to tell but definitely worth a review.

My Personal takeaways is that Drake Maye can ball but, I don’t think he needs a team like the Bears and would be PERFECT with Minnesota next season, Tez Walker Plays like Henry Ruggs and is gonna be special next level Star, and the most underrated Safety in the NCAA is Jaylen Stinson I mean he constantly makes plays every week, if he can get to a team like the Niners, browns, or Ravens not only could he win out and start but be a really good player for years

Good and bad officiating always plays a small role. Though, it seems to me that everyone who blames the refs has a problem with personal responsibility in their own life.

Evidence against the ref presented by someone blaming the refs does not show a lack of responsibility, it shows the presence of critical thinking and knowledge. Those who take personal shots at others for citing poor officiating as a reason for losing are more likely to have a problem with taking responsibility as they make claims and then can’t back them up. There are several instances where the incorrect call was made or the wrong process was taken, all of which have UNC edges that pushed them to the victory.

@@jarrettjb bc you haven’t shown how UNC getting the ball in their own 10 yard line with 3 minutes left (and eventually scoring) doesn’t change the outcome when Duke intercepted it and they didn’t even review it. Duke gets that ball they can run out the clock.
Also, stopping the clock for UNC with 16 seconds left when it is supposed to keep running allowed them enough time to kick the game tying field goal and send it to overtime.
On the two point conversion that gave UNC the lead, there was an obvious illegal man down field, so obvious to the point that the man down field hid from the official behind a Duke defender so they wouldn’t see him.
There were several BS pass interference calls that kept UNCs drives alive, and one missed PI that ended dukes drive.
Provide evidence how those missed calls are irrelevant in the outcome of the game.

I love my Tar heels but that first touchdown look kind of questionable to me. It looks like Drake tossed the ball in the air while he was jumping into the end zone. Did they review that to see if he crossed the line before he let the ball out of his hand?
