    Finally we are seeing legal mid drive in SG market. Hope this can appeals to other distributor to bring in similar technology soon. A central weight distribution amd higher torque makes more sense, and at same time making other parts easier for repairs when needed.

      You bring up a very valid point which I never thought off. Essentially the front and rear wheels are bicycle wheels. So if anything wrong with the rear wheel it would make it cheaper to change.

      This year has seen a lot of ebikes being released in singapore. This ebike is a welcome addition as it truly brings in something different in terms of motor technology

    Premium ebike 👍 High quality and advanced tech. Food delivery guys may worry it gets stolen and so bring it up the lift with them🤭👍

      Yep. Although mid drive bikes have been around for awhile, it's a first for singapore.

    700C used to be called 28”. 29” is a 700C rim used with a wide (2.2” or more) tire.

    Will have to test carrying goods on your back or installing a rack mount with the bag on with things inside, say 3-5kg of weight.
    That should really test how well it tackles slopes, slippery surfaces, uneven surfaces, and sudden stops.

    • @grabadventures
      @grabadventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually my thinking is this ebike is targeted at a different type of consumer. 😊

    • @grabadventures

      @5kplamse no. I don't. The needs of delivery rider is different especially full timers. This is my perspective. Ofc you can test ride it to see if it suits u.

    This is an ok bike, but like to see the availability of the major brands which have better features like components and better frame. This is nice but kind of antiquated, old. Much better products offered in other countries.

    • @grabadventures

      Singapore has tough regulations on what can be imported in. 😔

  • @turbolenza35

    Very good review, thank you! Comments :
    - 36V seems not strong enough for fatso like me
    - i dont like this idea of motor being controlled by pressure on pedals. In some countries, ebikes even have throttles so no need to pedal at all. We should have those in Singapore too.
    - No mudguards, no rear rack to mount food bag
    - If battery is not waterproof, then what's the point? In Singapore rain can be very heavy. The battery of my Rogi Max is well protected in case of rain. I don't want to place a plastic bag to cover battery.

    • @grabadventures
      @grabadventures  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for sharing yr perspective. They are all valid concerns. The issue is the regulations governing the sale of ebikes here. So distributors have to work within the confines of those regulations.

      @grabadventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you look at the tech involved in it I think the value is there. But it depends on what you are going to use it for.
      As a food delivery rider I won't get this. But as a road cyclist with money I won't mind splurging on this.

      Snapcycle is a californian company. Jimove got the distribution rights in Singapore for their brand.
      As to the country of manufacture I am not sure but I assume a number of parts are made in china.
